      Sheena, so love the word mum. My Supervisor is British so I am use to hearing it all the time. Just love it said that way. I think Tasty would be very proud of her boy too. I am forgetting, he is her only one isn’t he. I was a little worried about his being run back so soon. It’s only been a few weeks since his last race. But, he sure looked good.

      The “bobs” look all tucked in for the night. I wish the stick in the front of the nest would fall over. I hate the thought of one the osprey getting gored if they land on that stick. This entire family will be missed. I will be anxiously waiting for their return in the spring. Blessings for this precious family in the distant travels they must make. Our Great Protector will guide them to far away places.

    One of my favorite up and coming fillies, Isabella Sings, won her first stakes today at Monmouth Park. I’ve been following her since she won her maiden first time out. She’s had her ups and downs, but when she’s on, she can run. She reminds me of her father.

    Congrats to I’myoursugardaddy for his fine placing at Delaware Park. I’m sure that Tasty was there every step of the way.

    I’m sure Coz and Zi are enjoying the cooler mornings at Saratoga. Unfortunately, it can also get very humid and that’s what the forecast seems to be for the northeast this week. Try to stay nice and cool. Drink lots of water and stay in the shade.

    Happy Birthday, Carol! I hope you had a good one. I hope that Rivers just had a bad day & will bounce back in his next race. The most important thing is that he stay healthy & sound.

    To all my fellow Lady Eli fans, an article in the Albany Times Union today said that the infection in her foot is gone & the laminitis in both front feet is under control. She is not out of the woods yet, though, & is being monitored around the clock in her stall at Belmont. Chad Brown said that she is doing as good as she can possibly be doing right now. Let’s pray that Lady Eli turns the corner soon & starts to improve steadily even more.

    Our condition is a result of disobedience. Every rule has been broken, every law, written and unwritten, has been ignored. It has all made for imbalances, injustices, broken hearts and less stability.

    RIP Cecil.Zimbabwe’s favourite lion ruthlessly slaughtered by hunters outside a safari park.Lured to his death by the merciless.Shot by a bow and arrow wounded this magnificent beast wandered for 2 days before getting shot by a rifle then skinned and beheaded.Rumours it was either a Spaniard or a American who paid 36,000 so he could kill a lion.I cannot find the appropriate words to express my fury.And they call these beasts wildlife!!!Sheena

    I read your post above about Cecil. How horrible. He suffered so. Glad the “bobs” are hunkered down. Poor Brenig losing a feather. Tough sisters! Continue enjoying the races. I pray for safety for all. Yes, Joey’s picture was lovely. I don’t think he ever took a bad picture. I saw the pile of fur you mentioned over on Ray’s page. WOW!!! Mango looked absolutely exhausted. I hope she’s feeling better today. Hopefully James and Bob will post again soon. Good news that Fubu is eating again. Kimberly’s life revolves around animals! the French will just have to get over the outcome of the race. I will definitely turtle-turtle today.     Hi all Zsters,
    Have missed you all but I’ve been dealing with issues here at home. I’m waiting to hear the response to tests my husband has had…..he has COPD and has been losing weight and had no energy for weeks now. Also my daughter is having issues with her kidneys which have been a problem since she was young. And last but not least my BF Cisco, my beloved cocker has serious immune problems. When it rains it pours.
    I’ve tried to keep up reading the blog but I’m way behind. Glad Judy The Beauty is doing well and her Lola has healed well. Happy Birthday to Carol hope you had a great day.

      Sue, Praying for you and your family. Not sure of your location, but University of Colorado ((in Aurora, just next to Denver) has some of the best pulmonary specialists (and just about every other specialty) in the country. It’s amazing what they do there. Just giving you this information in case that might be a possibility for you. Will keep your husband, daughter and precious Cisco in my prayers… and especially their Momma Sue. with love, Elizabeth
