Foal Patrol! That’s a super idea. In fact many years ago there was a television show known then as Thoroughbred Digest if I remember correctly that had a section with that name. I’m so glad a version of it has been resurrected.

I know this is the best thing for him but it is a bit bittersweet. All the hopes and dreams we had for him to be a great race horse like his mom. Just hope he is healthy and does well in his new life.

I think that was the best decision for Cozmic One. 1) being gelded 2) pulled off track, although it would have been interesting to to see if being gelded helped his focus on the track. He looks so calm in that picture. I wish him all the best in his new career.

When I went to visit Coz last fall, he was so sweet and loving and gentle. This is a good choice for him. he just wasn’t interested in racing. I have a very huge (17 plus 2 hands) ex racehorse gelding who everyone says should be a jumper. But he does not seem to like jumping? Still working on that one. He did win 80K$ something racing on dirt. He’s our Baby.I visited Ziconic the same day last fall and he seems to still want to run. I am hopeful as he came in 2nd 3x.. These 2 Zenyatta’s boys are late bloomers???Maybe. She was. But they have had one of the greatest trainers ever. God bless them all!!

Good decision but it is bittersweet given all of the hopes for Zenny’s firstborn. This new owner is so lucky to have those genes at her disposal. I hope he is happier and feels at home. He deserves a good life as the first son of our Queen.

One to watch for next year-Marconi. Little brother of Mucho Macho Man. He won a very impressive second start at Aqueduct on the 15th. Had all kinds of excuses to not win, but he sure did!
