    Dear Max.I had thought Kind was being sent back to Galileo last year but there’s no word about a foal.Coolmore are not good in providing information but I thought I would hear something on Frankel’s website.Maybe she had a year off.Oh,Marty’s evil twin brother Morty has been smuggling yogies(treats) and Marty has had the blame!!He’s had about 4000 new friends since they featured him on buzzfeed.Maybe the decking will be finished by Christmas!!Free the Moose PU Beast.Sheena.

      Cannot really fault Coolmore for no news about Kind. She is with Juddmonte. Never did hear to this day about that particular foal. Juddmonte is usually very open with information. They even showed a video of a fetal scan being done on Midday! I could not believe it.
      Stoute said that Estimate can be “narky.” Laughed about that.
      Was thinking Christmas too for the deck. Looked out and saw tools hanging about. A poster on the window says to stay away. Got it.
      Wondering if Joshua Tree will run at Woodbine with Ryan Moore. Most of the top US jockeys are in Toronto for the race weekend. Jamie Spencer is riding Trade Storm in the Mile. Fox is televising some of it.

    Just went on Zenyatta’s facebook page to look at the pictures again and was shocked and dismayed by some of the negative comments posted there. Ann and Jerry and the Lanes End Team are so good about sharing photos and news of the royal family with us and it is sad that some people have to say very nasty things. Vowed not to go back to Facebook just stay on the blog with you guys!

      Shirleeinindy, I was on fb too to see the photos and I did read a few of the comments. Most of them were good but many posts are by people who don’t know much about Zenyatta or TeamZ or horses in general. The same questions are asked over and over again and some nice people answer them over and over again but those people don’t really have the interest, so ignoring them is the best thing to do, I think.
      The same goes on Rachel’s page and Cromie’s page, etc There are always those who say hurtful things.
      Here in Zenyatta’s world we are blessed to have good information and good people who understand that this is not the place to be rude, impolite or nasty. We are blessed.

      I have found on so many facebook pages that there are always those folks who troll various sites to just stir up a lot of BS. You can find them on any kind of page, makes no difference. They are just airbags deploying on any subject they know nothing about.

      I just ignore them and do not waste my time or energy on them.

    Filly has little white marking on forehead. 2 feet also have white
    Neil Werrett arrived NSW farm 5mins before Black Caviar started to foal down.
    Everything went natural. Came out the right way. Nose 2 feet.
    The Exceed And Excel/Black Caviar filly started drinking from mum 45 minutes aft being born.
    Mum and filly are doing well.

    Hello Zsters; We are now into September and I know Becky, who has Sir, expressed if we had not found a home for him, she just may have to put him down in fall. I finally felt I have allowed enough time since my last overwhelming conversation with Becky and just had to find out if Sir settled in and is not searching out the mare he wished to be with. I am praying she has had a change of heart. I sent off a message a couple hours ago. I really don’t know if she will respond, but I had to try. I also restated my desire just to see him if this was possible. I still think of that big boy!! He was my love at CV. I just want the best for him.
    I will share with you if I do get a message.

    @Maryp NY, I too noticed the very same uneducated and hateful comments on the FB page by those knew very little if anything about Zenny from their questions. Those who took time to answer questions like who is she and how old is she, is this horse male or female?…it became obvious there was no way to get them caught up on years of information and the horse industry as a whole. Any suggestions offered to get informed were received as snobby rather than helpful. Didn’t used to be this way before. The blog remains the best place to share and appreciate all things Zenyatta with those who have been fortunate to have known her and her family. So grateful indeed.

    Little “Tiny” Thurzel update:

    Was just over the moon yesterday when I went to Jeir to groom my little girl: she came up to greet me, was happy to take the headstall and bit, and was just so interested in stopping and looking at the various activities at the place on the stroll to the barn. For the first time she seemed to relax and enjoy the grooming, which included a trim of a rather scruffy tail. The weather is a lot warmer this week, so after discussion with the Elegant Emily we only put on a fresh cotton rug. The house is smelling a bit like a barn just now, because I’m soaking her cotton rug in the bathtub. As you do. And this morning she again came up to greet me! Don’t think I’ve ever been more pleased to get the first bill for her accommodation – it proves that she’s mine! Told her about Nelly’s filly foal, but think my little girl was more interested in getting her nose smoothed and taking another Judy treat. Hugs, KathyR

    September 13 Cherokee Devotional

    Can any good thing come out of a mouth that cannot talk without complaining-and never has a good thing to say about anyone? Negative talk sets us up to lose. Even when down-talking is for effect, it is devastating. Words are alive. They shoot out like boomerangs and turn back to lift us up or flatten us with a painful thud. Nothing reveals the inner status of a person like talk. The person may look like an angel, but if the words are rotten, there is no flower garden there. People damn their lives out of habit. Like an unconscious sasa, goose, in a wheat field, they gabble without one thought. But the minute their well-being is challenged they ask what they did to deserve it.

      Looks like Ryan Moore is riding in France on Sunday. Might mean that Joshua Tree is skipping the Canadian International. Also looks like Trade Storm is the only Euro horse in the Woodbine Mile. Jamie Spencer is riding. Uncle Johnny has Silver Freak. The Freak has Deputy Minister blood like the Beast and Charlie.
