Just love TVG. They know we all need to watch Zenyatta’s 2009 BC Classic just one more time. This was the entire 1 hour version reminding everyone how unique and special she was, far superior to the other horses. Watching John,Dottie, Mike and The Mosses express their commitment to her happiness and success and sharing her with the public still brings tears after all this time. It reminds me how we all got here to begin with years ago. What a glorious journey. I make it a point to watch this replay when available to just observe and appreciate how spectacular she was to look at…the strutting and absolute confidence she had. The announcers were beyond impressed. Miss it .

There are no exceptions to the rule-but generally speaking, nobody loves you like your mother loves you. Somewhere in the finely meshed fabric of life she wove a strength, a golden cord that ties you to her and releases you to go at the same time. The binding is not to possess but to protect, to be there when she is needed. In youth, we felt the strain of too much watchfulness, too many questions. But time, the equalizer, shows the quality of love was more unselfish than we thought, more precious than we ever dreamed it would be. And greatest of all, it is not blood that connects but simply a choosing to love because she wants to, not because of duty. It frees us to know that if we were chosen to be loved, then this must surely be the time to say, “Gv ge yu a, U ni tsi.” I like you, or I love you, Mama.
Comanche may die tomorrow, or ten years. When end come then they all be together again. I want to see my mother again.

Dear Kathy:
This one really hit home. My sis and I lost our Mom when she was only 61. Have lived half of my life without her. Hope I get to see her again. Love and Hugs, JB

Dear Kathy.Such a beautiful post.As they say,a mother’s love is something no one can define. There’s not a day I don’t wish my mum was still with me.Sometimes my dreams of her are so vivid,in those first waking moments I even forget she has gone and then I get so sad again.
Beautiful photos of Ann with Zenyatta, they, too, share a bond like mother and daughter.I wonder if the visit is coinciding with the weaning of the PrinZess.A friend brought a lovely memorial stone for Joey yesterday she used to decorate his shack Christmastime. He’s made it to 440,000!Mango enjoyed her swim yesterday and looked so sweet in her wlittle bed!Her swing arrives today and another truckload on the 15th it looks really lovely in NM.Poor Zoe is worried about her sick friends I loved today’s Zoeism.Lily has joined the choir in Heaven and is raising the wroof with Cheesus bless her. What a cute video of Marty yawning and he’s got a slug to manage his mart in Santa Cruz!!Fubu’s in a contest again I can’t vote it’s only for FB fans hope he can win!Have a great day.Hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.Sheena.
Kathy
Dear Sheena,
The photos of Ann with Zenyatta are beautiful, indeed. I’ll bet they are going to be weaning PrinZess. It’s true…Ann and Zenyatta are exactly like mother and daughter. I know what you mean about missing your mum. I miss mine intensely too. Being with her again will be a huge plus when I get to heaven! For the meantime I guess I’ll just have to honor her memory by being the person she raised me to be. Joey’s memorial stone is a lovely gift. I love the connection to Christmas, too. He deserves all those likes plus a lot more. Such a wonderful boy. Mango is a doll. NM is a very beautiful state. Zoe and her mom…also dolls. Extremely caring and sensitive. Lily…I know she is adding a lot to the heavenly furbaby choir. Yes, Marty’s video was precious. He’s one pampered rat! Love his banana slug sidekick. Looks like he will be a good manager. Apparently in Fubu’s current contest one can vote every hour! You have a great day, as well. Hugs from me, kisses from Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy.

Sandy, Isn’t he just scary beautiful?? When Tapit throws a chestnut he really does a good job and coupled with Zenyatta’s power and personality, what a guy!

Dear Z Family:
Love the new instagram of ZI. Just noticed how his blaze flares toward his left eye and his sister’s blaze flares toward her right eye. The blazes are similar in length and width. Don’t know if Z Princess’ coat will change again, but she seems to be a lighter Bay like Dad. Absolutely gorgeous babies. COZ, is a totally different Bay color and gorgeous too. Love them all and the Queen so much. Love and Hugs, JB

@Judy Berube – I found out that Z’s full brother at Coolmore was foaled in 2013 not 2012. Coolmore never offers anything, no photos, no nothing.
Judy Berube From Rhode Island
Dear Mary:
Yes, he was born April 9, 2013. Here’s an article from Paulick Report.
Coolmore is very stingy with info on their mares and foals. They are not giving out any info on Frankel’s first foal, a colt out of Chrysanthemum born in January 2014, either. No photo; no updates. Will keep on checking on Z’s brother. Love and Hugs, JB

Thanks Judy. I have to wonder why they are so stingy with info on their horses when most of the other farms are happy to let fans know what’s happening. I’m concerned about Street Cry and am praying that they are able to find what is wrong and make him well.
Thanks for keeping on it.

It’s worth having a FB account just to keep up with Zenny and her family. The pics today of Zenny with her Ann just brought tears to our eyes…what a pair they are!

Looking at the newest pictures of Ziconic on Queen Z’s Facebook page, I’m reminded of what Penny Chenery wrote in her diary the first time she saw Something Royal’s newest foal at Meadow Stables: “WOW!” We all know who and what that foal grew up to be. Every time I see new pictures of Zi, I just keep getting more and more excited! I can hardly wait for 2016! If Ziconic does what my instincts are telling me he will, he’ll go down in the sports history books.
Princess Z is HUGE! She looks so much like her Mama Z both in looks and size! She’s going to be a force in the racing world, too.
The pictures of Zenyatta with her human mom Ann all express the same wonderful emotion: love. Zennie loves her mom and that love is returned in full measure. I wish all owners loved their horses the way the Mosses love their Zenyatta and her beautiful babies.

Does anyone on this site ever go to the Forum? I registered for it when it first was available, but I have never been able to access it. I even emailed Team Z and they responded, but I just get a blank page.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Little Thurzel update:
Went to visit my little girl today: think I’ve mentioned that we had a big dump of rain early in the week, and a lot of the paddock is running with water – it drains down to the nearby creek. So I went up the outside track, and the group were right up the top, as usual. I called out, and she looked up from her grazing, and then came straight across to the fence! Was so thrilled. I was able to give her her treats, and a nose smooth and forelock tidy around the boys silly behaviour. Leo was his usual pushy self, and at one stage my little girl actually gave him a kick, which sorted him out pretty fast. Hoping this use of “bribery” with goodies will help me to put on her headstall etc. tomorrow so I can finally get that scruffy cotton rug off and into the wash, and give her a good grooming. Hugs, KathyR

This is a daughter of TIZ NOW that was purchased today by Stonereath Stud today for $1.1M. She’s a big girl and a beauty. Her dam, Countess Lemonade, is now in foal to a filly by Galileo. Love and Hugs, JB

Max
JudyB. Thank you for this. She’s a tiny little girl with a very tiny daddy. Interesting that her dam is in foal to Galileo. Tiznow and Galileo raced against each other once in New York in the Breeder’s Cup Classic in 2001, a little over a month after 911. The much praised Irish horse Galileo was 6th. Tiznow in a brilliant display of grit and determination beat all comers and “won it for America.”

Dear Max:
A tiny girl, indeed. What a great story. I did not realize that Galileo was in that BCC. Tiz Now did win it for America! I have to look for that video. Love and Hugs, JB

Some people have the gift of persuasion. It just seems their words ring more true than anyone else’s. It may be the manner, the quiet confidence in which they speak that makes them more trusted and more heard than most. They can calm us or stir our emotions-sometimes in the wrong way. We put our trust in the authority of other people at a time when we should sort things out for ourselves. Who are these people with u la ni gv gv, with power in their words to test our strength? It would be a shame to listen to double talk when our great need is courage and quiet peace. The same power is on our tongues to build or short-circuit-other people and ourselves as well.
Today is fair. Tomorrow may be overcast with clouds. My words are like the stars that never change.

Dear Kathy. It’s lovely to see some of the furbabies remembering 9/11.It’s so sad to think nothing has changed since that dreadful day. Will the human race ever learn,I often wonder.
It was lovely to see the video of Monty and Deri before they left and dad serving the last supper! They are truly missed.Joey is back home!Lovely that his ashes will be scattered by Theba and Tom.I hope that they found out what went wrong, so many post-mortems are inconclusive.Mango had mail yesterday someone sent her onesies but the morning conversation had me in tears,it was so sweet and touching I hope she enjoys her swing today.Had to laugh at Fubu’s video hope he’s doing well in the contest.Jack O was 4 the other day and Hawley was 12 a couple of weeks ago.Boo is having a lazy day!Poor Zoe’s friend Angel Rose is quite ill but seems to have improved I lit a candle for her last night such a sweetie.Gorgeous weather over here for the St Leger meeting in Doncaster and a big weekend of racing in Ireland!Have a great day.Hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.Sheena.
