Today we celebrate what would have been our filly’s first birthday by remembering the joy that she brought to the world. We created a memorial page for Z Princess with a collection of images, videos and memories from those who loved her.

    Beautiful, sweet Princess Z crossed that Rainbow Bridge and went home to be with our good Lord in Heaven. She was born on Easter, after all, and is running healthy and whole at that big paddock in the sky. ;)

    Many thanks to Ann and all of Team Z for the lovely words, photos and such a beautiful memorial and endearing videos.

      Good morning, hope the winds of Heaven are blowing your way and Blessing you. Thanks for the quote,

      ‘The winds of Heaven is that which blows between a horses Ears’

      And Yes, I can imagine Z Princess running with her ears perked and tail raised whispering into the Wind words of Love and Encouragement to her favorite first Prince, Cozmic One as he races.

      Hearing those whisperings from his lovely Z Princess, he will chase after the wind to capture those soft kisses and heart love from his beloved urging him to out run the wind that Even the Legends will be amazed at the speed of the young prince. Yes she is with him always and he will know it and honor her with his Speed.

    Kathy: Happy Birthday. I hope your day was spent with joy, family & LOTS of cake & presents. Your present to us is your Devotional. I can’t pretend to be a religious person, but your saysings cause inspiration & are as true today as when they were written last century. Zenyatta.com is another inspriational as it inspires the folks here to be at their best & most compassionate. Maybe this forum is a way of passing on a kindness that Ann was mentioning.       Sheena, Great news about the egg arrival! Wish our eagles and hawks here had the osprey diet of fish. Baby bunnies abound (along with birds, squirrels and other small critters), but the hawks are also quite healthy, so…… I wish I knew how to train our hawks to become ‘vegans’. The quail and doves here are especially going to have lots of babies this year, I think, because we had so much more snow and rain over the winter (more than the past several years).       Yay and Congratulations to Glesni and the lovely egg; She sure is a beautiful and proud mama. Is there a way I can save the egg shell after it hatches?, its just too cute to go to waste. It should be saved regardless for posterity and labelled, ‘Glesni’s first egg’.

    Can’t stop the tears while viewing the photos and videos of this precious little girl with her proud mom. Thank you so much for sharing this memorial with those whose hearts have been captured by the princess and the queen and her boys.

        Great Article- like the comment “he has a shout and a roar” I wonder what that is.
        Just love those British euphamisms-how could a horse not love the english
        county side- it is where a horse naturally lives !!!

      Sheena, thank you for the video of Glensi’s first egg this year. Her timing was perfect – right on Earth Day! We have many Osprey nests in our area of the US with several locally near me, but none have cameras monitoring them that I know of.

      We have a camera monitoring a Peregrine Falcon nest under a bridge near where I work & many young falcons have fledged from it over the past several years.

      Kimberly, I know what you mean. I say I am not going to watch the video or look at the photos, but I do and end up in tears. Guess it will be that way for a long time to come. She just was such a beautiful little girl with the eyelashes, curly mane and mom’s ears. And what a personality. She was so full of herself! Confident and independent from day one.

    Peggy’s favourite African Story has been retired also his stablemate Prince Bishop who won this year’s Dubai World Cup.They will both continue to live at one of Sheikh Mohammed’s stables for the time being because they love the routine.Have fun boys!!Hugs SheenaX

The videos bring me to tears… both Zenny and Ann are such warm, loving “moms.” Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together for us. Now we will have a way to remember Z.P. forever.
