Zenyatta is a 2016 Arcadia Walk of Champions inductee, and we would like to invite two fans to join us at the celebration!
The Walk of Champions Gala Celebration will take place on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 in Arcadia, CA. We’re giving away an invitation for two to attend the event and be seated with members of Team Zenyatta. The winner will be selected in a random drawing on Tuesday, May 10. Travel and lodging is not included.
Enter to win using the form below. Please read the Terms & Conditions before entering. Enter by 5 pm PT Tuesday, May 10!
The Walk of Champions honors the historic records of outstanding horses, jockeys, trainers, owners and other key figures not just of Santa Anita fame, but encompassing the entire state of California. No hoofprints or handprints adorn downtown sidewalks in the manner of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but the accomplishments of 60 “Cornerstone Champions” have instead been engraved on 24″ x 24″ informational bronze plaques.
More information about the Walk of Champions and the Gala Celebration can be found at http://arcadiachampions.org.

Yesterday I was @ SA to watch Beholder’s race. I saw the small bouquet of flowers on the base of Zenyatta’s statue. The card attached had your name & Cynthia Holt.
Very sweet of you! Someone asked me if they were from ME! I said no but I know the Judy who did!

How wonderful! Congratulations Zenny, Lava Man, and all inductees!! I am very glad to see Victor Espinoza receive recognition, also. I really do think he should have been one of the Hall of Fame recipients, as well. Oh well, some other time perhaps.
Good luck to all with the drawing for invitation tickets.

Congratulations to Zenyatta, indeed to the whole team. How wonderful to support the City of Arcadia and it’s efforts to honor the California thoroughbred racing sport/all connections. I am also pleased that they are honoring Old English Rancho and thereby Buddy Johnston posthumously. I was born & raised in Upland, CA and well remember when Old English Rancho was in Chino, before they moved to Central California. They always believed in raising their young on dry creek soil (silt/sand).
Now I just hope that the State of California makes an effort to see to it that the CHRB follows it mandated rules and also joins the Water Hay Oats Alliance.

We short ourselves when we think we do not have time for the little things. After all, the big things are made of the small. Even taking one sunbeam, one drop of rain, one tiny flower for granted can leave a void hundreds of times bigger. Time is important, but we waste it when we believe another person is less important than time itself and therefore not worthy of our attention.
Spend every waking moment being grateful, being kind, being thoughtful. It takes so little to help where we can and to keep our opinions to ourselves unless asked. When we think others are our friends or potential friends, we are walking in grace. We need it just as we need the wonder of every little thing.
Speak straight and your words will go into our hearts like sunlight.

What a great and loving invitation, Team Z! And it’s just great to see that Canadian residents are eligible! Zenny has so many fans here in Canada and the chance to meet Team Z and be present at this wonderful celebration of Zenyatta’s career and all that you, Team Z, and Zenny herself have done for the sport is such an honour!
Thank you thank you, a million times over!

Congratulations Zenyatta and Team Z! Love Zenny’s sculpture against that beautiful red background ~ it is just stunning. Will be excited for whoever gets chosen to go for the celebration – what a thrilling time. My husband is having surgery in the next week or so – we find out this week exactly what day, but we’ll be happy for whoever the ‘winners’ are that get to have the wonderful and exciting ‘time of their lives’! Congratulations to Victor Espinosa also! with love, Elizabeth
