Dear Ziconic,
Big Congratulations on your first race! You did a spectacular job. It seems you may be a closer just like Mama Z — what a finish! Gary said you liked what you were doing, also, and that’s so important. Well done! Mama and Daddy are happy, I’m sure.
Congratulations to your entire team, too. So very proud of you, handsome boy. Hope you have sweet dreams tonight.
Wonderful come from behind at the stretch for 3rd….shades of Zenyatta. Very promising future for Ziconic. RIP Steve Willard – you would have been proud of his maiden race today.
Congratulations to Ziconic on his first race!!!!
I watched the race on TVG, and it was so exciting!!!!
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Moss and to John Shirreffs and Gray Stevens. It was so exciting to see Ziconic charging from the back with his 3rd place finish, which it looked like he almost had 2nd. Really a great race!!!!!
Congrats to Ziconic on his first debut!! I’ve been anxiously awaiting to see him run for a long time now and boy, did he not disappoint! Looked a lot like Zenyatta out there!!! Can’t wait to see what the future brings for Ziconic!!!!
Congrats to Ziconic and to all of Team Z!!! Ziconic ran very well. He almost pulled it off. It was exciting watching him fly down the stretch just like his mom. Hopefully he’ll win next time out. He sure is beautiful!!!
Dear Barbara Wood,
Hope you are doing okay. Haven’t seen a post from you in quite some time, and have certainly missed hearing from you.
Isn’t Ziconic gorgeous, and he has got game, too!
So proud of him!!! I think he could hear me cheering him on all the way from Texas!!! He easily passed the second place horse just past the finish line!!!! So proud of how he ran and an amazing ride by Gary Stevens!!!! He ran just like his mama and we are all so proud of him!!!! Can’t wait to see where he runs next!!!! I hope you get lots of rest and treats sweet boy!!!! #GoZiconic Love you bunches!!!! ?????????
Congratulations to Ziconic & his team! I am thrilled that you got third in your first race. It was thrilling to watch you close so fast just like your mother! Gary did a great job with you. I hope that your mom was able to watch you as well.
I was not worried to see you last at the beginning of the race, because I knew how your mom began her races in the same position and passed everyone else when she was ready to. I really thought you could win until the wire came too soon. Mama Z, you taught your red prince well.
Does anyone know how Keri Belle did in her race? I met her at Saratoga two years ago & liked her a lot. Who rode her today?
Thank you again, Team Z for allowing us to follow Zenyatta’s & her offsprings’ lives and keeping us informed about their lives.
I was so amazed watching this race. His 3rd place was nothing to scoff about after seeing that stride kick in and the huge distance he had to overcome, only to lose by a couple of strides. He showed greatness today, and so excited to see what the future has in store for him! His gritty attitude and fight in the stretch said it all!!!
Congratulation to Ziconic! I loved the race and his close was so impressive! Next time in a longer race he will win for sure! I have been eagerly awaiting his debut as I figured a long time ago that he probably had that “it” factor. :) ♥
What a thrill to see our boy come charging forward from last to third, in the last minute of the 7-furlong race today. Gary Stevens did a great job. Looking forward to Ziconic’s next race.

Connections Hoping to See Talent from Zenyatta Colt
By Jonathan Murrietta TDN Friday, February 19, 2016
The wait is finally over. Zenyatta’s son Ziconic (Tapit) debuts in a seven-furlong maiden special weight Saturday at Santa Anita for owners Jerry and Ann Moss and trainer John Shirreffs.
“We’re kind of anxious to see how he performs,” Shirreffs said. “We’ve waited for this for a long time.”
Shirreffs added that the chestnut colt is more focused than Zenyatta’s other progeny, Cozmic One (Bernardini), who finished last by eight lengths in his debut this past April and hasn’t hit the board in two lifetime starts. http://www.thoroughbreddailynews.com/connections-hoping-to-see-talent-from-zenyatta-colt/
Had trouble getting on the blog last nite….so many congrats. Want to add my Congratulations to the Mosses, John, and beautiful Zi. It was a slow start and he had me worried but WOW did he come on strong, shades of Zenny. Hope Zenny was watching her baby fly home. So happy for all of us fans too.
I’m still hopeful John will find the key for CoZ, he says he certainly hasn’t given up yet. Hugs to all on this special day.
So proud and happy for our Red Prince. Bless Gary for the ride and control of the stick. That gallop out was great also. Looks like our boy wants more ground. I know John, Ann and Jerry breathed a sigh of relief as well as all the Z Team. Can’t wait for the next race.
Rest is imperative. If we do not rest, we deplete our power to do, to create, to align our thoughts with the Higher Source. The very young think their strength is unending and that they will always have energy. But if they don’t rest, they too become slower, less attentive, and lose their sense of well-being.
The aged fall asleep wherever they are-not because it is wise but because they cannot help themselves. They learn to take their rest whenever they can. When they rest body, mind and spirit, they are full of potential and full of power-even more so than when they were young. Rest is important-so rest well and rest often.
Hear me, my Chiefs, I am tired.

Dear Kathy.Oh,I rest a lot because I am aged now!!!Great start to Ziconic’s career reminds me so much of his mama.I feel he could get further.I had trouble getting back on the blog last night something about a “bad gateway”??Mr Fibbs has done really well bictorious in Souff Carolina and Nebada. He’s handing out doughnuts and kissing babies!Did you see that wonderful post by Mango last night and how Katybug was enjoying her party and so happy now that Shelby is with her?Judy really touches the heartstrings with her messages.Sad to hear about another random shooting in Michigan I think 7 have died?As the song said when will they ever learn? All the furbabies I have managed to visit so far are well.
We lost Deputy Dan yesterday at Haydock a very difficult race to watch as conditions were dreadful. He collapsed and died at the end of the race.I cannot help but think we ask too much of these noble beasts sometimes.Peace.Love.Doughnuts.Have a blessed Sabbath.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO
