Tried to copy the link, but you can find it on Bloodhorse Magazine site. GREAT ARTICLE about our Queen and the things her team did to care for her because they knew her so well.
Dear Kathy. We could all learn so much from your devotional today. We are individuals with different likes and dislikes. No,I plan a lazy weekend as usual some racing from Kempton on telly maybe some housework!!!Yet another sad animal story from a village in Hertfordshire.Their mascot a pet goose named Goose has been shot and the village is in mourning and a £25,000 reward has offered to find the culprits. He lived in the local telephone box and on the pond.Children have been laying flowers.Villagers are very suspicious of a new couple who have just moved there.I missed the ratties birthday celebrations they had chocolate and Mr Fibbs is relaxing now ready for the rest of his campaign.Oh,I hope Hovis behaves during the interviews. This friend of aunty Becky’s sounds promising.Have a great Friday.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO.
The Big Beast Maryland’s Horse of the Year
By Frank Angst, The Blood-Horse Feb. 25, 2016
Alex and JoAnn Lieblong’s The Big Beast , who finished second in a pair of grade I sprints in 2015 at Saratoga Race Course, was named Maryland-bred Horse of the Year in the annual poll conducted by the Maryland Horse Breeders Association.
The son of Yes It’s True, who in 2014 captured the Ketel One King’s Bishop Stakes (gr. I) at Saratoga, was bred by Ron and Carolyn Green’s Green Willow Farm. The Big Beast also took top honors as champion older male and champion sprinter.
Later in article a list of divisional champions
Other divisional champions follow: http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/98009/the-big-beast-marylands-horse-of-the-year
I’m very happy to see this news. The Beast deserves it. I wonder if he is still staging daily escapes from his stall in Florida.
Maryland is a great state for horse breeding. Northern Dancer met his ladies there.
Dear Max.I saw this on RP today!Fabulous story,Australia’s answer to Moosie with his behaviour. And head butting one of his support team,I think it said he swam the equivalent of 11 kilometres.Amazing!Sheena
OMG! Rebel Rover swam almost 7 miles (6.8+ mi.). Incredible!
Amazing that he was still full of mischief, too — head butting someone into unconsciousness, Wow. He must be a real character.
Love to hear from Zenyatta’s connections! Zenyatta’s colts Coz and Ziconic are awesome!!!!! I wish the best for them and hope they continue to make their momma so proud.
hugs, Z dumpling, Sally B
