Both seem so happy Halloween is filling the pails with apples and carrots! Queen Z has to keep the Spidey in check that it won’t try gleaning her well sought out Goodies!
Commentary included the following: “Zenyatta‘s victory, the first ever by a female in the Classic, is considered by many to be the greatest moment in the history of the Breeders’ Cup.”
The Review includes the race, and I never tire of watching it: This time I took more notice of Z coming out of the gate looking several times, left to right, bobbing again to the left and then to the right, sizing up the field, and she settles in to a steady rhythm trailing the field, as usual. Then that unbelievable run to finish a length in front of Gio Ponti. Just takes my breath away.
Thanks to all at Lane’s End and Team Z for keeping her fans a part of her life.
Still the most beautiful face in the world. Miss her even after 6 years. Still talk about her on the blogs. She remains a point of reference and always will.
She is such a beauty. Looks like Zenyatta enjoyed her Halloween and happy to see her with her friend Vixana. Thanks for sharing. Always a “treat” to see photos.

Congratulations to Almandin (a son of Monsun)who won the Melbourne cup in a thrilling finish. It was indeed heartbreak for Tony Martin his Ebor winner Heartbreak City was just pipped at the post.
On this day in 2005 at Exeter racecourse our beloved Triple Gold Cup winner Best Mate collapsed and died. His ashes are interred by the winning post at Prestbury Park.I will always remember the sunny day in 2003 when he won his 2nd gold cup.He was the most beautiful horse jumping for the sheer thrill of it.Personally I would have retired him after his bleed but it is not for me to criticise just to enjoy the precious memories.Rest in peace always Matey.Forever remembered.Love SheenaX
We learn the hard way that time for ourselves is all-important. Personal time is as necessary as eating right, resting well, and refusing to admit negative thoughts. Quality time is far more important than large quantities of time. How we use what we have makes all the difference.
Even a walk in the woods or in a park, or lunchtime spent near a flowing fountain can refresh; a weekend away may be a real treat. Quality time, for many people, also means quiet time-sitting, praying, or perhaps doing some kind of needlework or artwork that is calming and quieting.
Pay attention to what nourishes you in your personal time-then find ways of incorporating that into your schedule. When you take care of yourself, you will find not only that your life is more enjoyable but also that you make life more enjoyable for others as well.
The Great Spirit created this country for the use and benefit of his red children.

Zenny,
You are always the Girl after my own heart. Straight to the candy (or carrots) ~
1st things 1st! No wonder you’ve ‘won’ so many races (and hearts).
Love you so much!
Elizabeth
PS You’re making me want to go eat chocolate (before 6 in the morning!!)
Keeping in my thoughts and prayers Freddy Tylicki as he undergoes further tests after his horrific fall at Kempton yesterday.Jim Crowley escaped with a broken nose and Ted Durcan with a broken ankle.
Dear Kathy.I always say it’s the quality of our lives that matter not the quantity.I have been trying to post a message offering prayers for jockey Freddy Tylicki but I keep getting ‘duplicate message’??He is under going further tests today after his horrible fall yesterday at Kempton. His horse Nellie Deen clipped heels with the eventual winner and they brought down 3 others.Jim Crowley broke his nose and Ted Durcan his ankle. You may have noticed I was up earlier today. My dear mum died this day in 2007 It seems right somehow she died on All Saint’s day.So many memories.
A great race out in Melbourne earlier so sad for Heartbreak City just pipped at the post Max will have been happy Aidan didn’t win I think Bondi Beach was 11th.Poor Subbie lost all his pocket money!
I went on gratefulness .org last night to light a candle for my mum and was amazed to find peeps had lit candles for Hillary!!I would never dream of lighting a candle for ANY politician.I have sent you a link of Mother Theresa in the Pride of Britain awards last night she was showing a lot of leg!If Hillary wins next week she better ditch those trouser suits.
A lot of trouble with teenagers frightening people last night and many drinking far too much as per usual. Some ridiculous outfits too.
I loved Mango’s video and Boo’s new photo.Manthlet is enjoying herself in Chicago but missing Sebastian.Dolly looked fantastic in her Halloween dress.I haven’t been on Fubu yet or Joey. There are messages up for them I cannot understand about Theba.Zoe had a fun night and some great therapy visits we will hear about on Thursday.Have a great day.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Angel Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXOXO
I join you in praying for Freddy Tylicki’s recovery. And 3 others involved…just horrible. I’ll be thinking about you all day today. I know how difficult the anniversaries of our parents’ deaths are. Just something we have to get through. Congratulations to the victor out in Melbourne. Maybe another day for Heartbreak City and all the others. Candles for Hillary…that’s pretty funny. Couldn’t hurt though. I will go and check out Mother Theresa’s fashion. Teenagers and Halloween…a bad combination! I always enjoy the little ones but get really turned off to open the door and the trick-or-treater is towering over me and has a really deep voice! I enjoyed Mango’s video and Boo’s picture as well. Haven’t visited Dolly yet. Will do so. Theba posted a favorite pic from the past of Joey on Halloween. Yes, Zoe seemed to have a good night, but was scared at one point. I’m sure Mommy was right there to protect her! Looking forward to the therapy visits! Have a great Tuesday. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Angel Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy XOXO
Hi Sheena~Just wondering who is the ‘Mother Theresa’ I’ve seen you refer to? I hate being out of the loop, so to speak lol
Cheryl xxoo
Marshall (NC Broad)
Dear Cheryl,
She is the new Prime Minister of England. “Mother Theresa” is a nickname that Sheena uses. She took office after the Brexit vote.
Hugs and Love
Max
She’s the PM of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. England is but one component of the union. Wales and Scotland are in there too.
Marshall (NC Broad)
Sorry about the error, Max. It wasn’t intended as a slight — my bad. I am aware that these countries comprise the UK, but I goofed in typing just the one. Apologies.
Max
Marshall. I just had to mention Wales, for obvious reasons. Al Kazeem was born there!
What a treat to see Our Girl having fun on Halloween……..kudos to LE, the Team, and of course the Mosses for sharing her with us. I so needed to see these happy pics in my life right now. hugs to all
Thank you to Team Z for sharing this set of fun photos with us, giving my imagination full rein to play in my mind of how much fun was shared in those moments. It lifts my heart to know Zenyatta is so well cared for and so loved she is treated to these special celebrations with decorations and treats, enhancing the fun of all involved, giving her the gift of time and attention befitting the Queen. I feel so fortunate the Mosses and Lane’s End are so generous to give us these glimpses into her life – we are blessed. Thank you so very much!! My poor little OTTB, Sugarfoot, was given only two carrots, but I will keep in mind the pumpkin full of small carrots for next year – so cute. We did make him try on different costumes and he was not amused, so I’m glad y’all didn’t try that with Zenny!
Trick or treat zenny you are the prettiest zombie I’ve ever seen . It’s breeders cup week and I’ll always remember your spectacular win in 2009. I’ll always remember and cherish it
