Happy Wednesday!

We’re so happy to share the news that Zenyatta is 36 days in foal to War Front. She was given a full year off following her last pregnancy and was bred in April so that her 2016 foal, her fourth, will be born in the spring.

For everyone as excited as we are, we’ll have plenty of updates to share along the way.

    Oh my–when I saw this message,the happy tears just flowed!!! May she have the safest and most comfortable pregnancy and delivery!! And, what joy it will be to see her newest foal–be it filly or colt!! Of course, a lot of us will be “thinking pink”–though we will, of course, be happy with either.

    We’re so fortunate to be “in the loop” for this wonderful news–thanks to all who make this possible!! And, many congratulations to the whole Team Z–know you are ALL overjoyed!!

    Will surely tell Barnaby and Traveller this news,when we go down to move them up to East Fork on Saturday!! Will try to get some good video shots of them running wild when they return,as well as some shots of Barnaby with his ball. Then maybe I can get some help on how to post them here.

    I’m SO happy for you, Zenny girl–stay happy and healthy and have a lovely time being pampered—you deserve it!!

    We’re betting that Mr. WF was very excited to see Queen Z for another date. As others have said, this is such wonderful news! Now the counting begins…we’re secretely hoping for a filly although none could ever replace Z Princess.

    I have loved her in silence for so long. But today I can no longer contain my emotions. A gallery of framed portraits of Zenyatta and her babies is hanging in my office so I can see them everyday. I still cry every time I think about Princess Z. I was just delighted to see the picture of Zirconic dancing like his mother on TVG. And of course I am thrilled that there will be a precious new goal in the spring. I have MS and can’t walk long distances, but my dearest wish is to see Zenyatta drink her beer at the end of a happy day. I suppose my point is that for everyone who loves Zenyatta that you hear from, I believe there are many more you’ll never know who love her deeply. Thank you for all your time and talent needed to share Zenyatta’s life with me. It means more than you can know.

    Jerry Moss said in mid-April right before Coz’ first race that Zeny would be going to War Front soon. So happy it was a successful reunion..

    Poor girl, she’s looking so old. She’s looking dull and just, not her bright beautiful self.. Sad to see this. A huge fan of her since the beginning, but not happy. Hopefully she has another fikky by him again and this one survives.

      My impression of her in the photo is that she looks to be in excellent health, very svelte and with a lovely air of calm. She seems to be pensive but that it’s only natural because she’s a very intelligent horse. Beautiful too. No horse has such exquisite whiskers as Z.

    Congratulations to all. So happy for everyone connected to our girl. Even though she needed a year off, I felt bad that she had no foal to nurture like the other mares. Now she will have a baby to care for again…….I pray for a filly for Ann especially. It’s going to be a long year while we wait, but we can look forward to news of the princes and their antics for the rest of the year. hugs to all
