        The final was actually shown live here this morning on several sports channels. I watched for awhile but got distracted by the Tour de France. Every time I see or hear of Serena, I think about American Pharoah not getting his favorite athlete award even though he got the most fan votes. I voted for AP.

    So sorry this post is about our horses but Limato was a fine winner of the July cup at the home of UK racing Newmarket.Henry Candy is thinking now of the Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood plus we had a flying dismount from Frankie Dettori.Sheena

        • Sheena, I particularly enjoy hearing about ALL horses from anywhere and everywhere. Zenyatta’s half sister Eblouissante was sent abroad to be bred but I have heard nothing about her since and I can’t find anything online about her. Do you (or anyone else) have any news on her?

      thank you so much Judy B for the link to Mikey doing his thing . i love watching Mike work! when i do, i see him on Queen Z and remember the gentle way he had with her. i watch the way he encourages a horse to put forth their best effort, and just know that she had the best jockey ever. great memories….

      There are more peeps than Judy involved here! Agree that the comments were hurtful, but they were made by peeps who are not regular posters and clearly don’t “get it” about what has been normal conversation for the site. Where is LauraJ when you need her? She explains this a lot better than I do. In any event – we “regulars” would be sorry to see you go over something like this.

      As you know, I can’t seem to get into Tennis or any sport right now. You also surely know that Z’sters enjoy your posts on the wonderful Euro horses. Even Zenyatta’s brother, DC, is a Euro now. We will be depending on you for news of him as well as other Euro horses that we love. We look forward to your posts on Hovis too.

      It’s true, if you browse Z’s Blog, you can pick and choose what you wish to read and comment as you wish, too. Zenyatta and her Team care for all horses and every chance they get, they help horses with events, sale of merchandise and in any way they can.

      This Blog is treasured by all of us and we are privy to it because of the generosity of Z’s owners and Team. Please continue to post here. With all the violence, meanness and hate in the world lately, this Blog is a peaceful, loving place that has evolved because of the caring example of Zenyatta and her Team.         None of my friends here in Indy are interested in horse racing. It is so good to have this blog where I can talk about the horses I love and follow and the ones other people are interested in. All were so kind when I was raving about Muchie and my love of him.

      Sheena, I very rarely post anything here but read it daily. I’m basically only interested in Zenyatta and info on thoroughbreds so I usually just skip over posts not pertaining to that subject. No big deal. However, may I say, I would hate to not see you posting. I’m sure the majority of regular posters feel the same way. Hope you re-think your decision to stop posting.

      Sheena. You are the expert on UK racing. You’ll just have to keep your job.
      As to Zenyatta’s website, it’s obviously about Z first of all. One of Z’s principal missions however is to inspire and sustain interest in horse racing. She is the Queen of racing for her superb racing talent and for her uncanny ability to bring all people everywhere to the sport. May that long continue.

      You can’t leave here. We want let you. This site is Zenyatta’s site of course, but life is about everything. If you don’t want to read about certain things, just go over what ever it is, quite simply. I think this site is about love for horses and our fellow human beings. I bet Zenyatta would not want it any other way. Sheena I love reading about the Euro horses. One of the biggest smiles I ever had on my face was seeing Zenyatta at the Breeders Cup and Seeing Goldikova and one of her connections trying to run around the track after her. I love the horses from all over the world. I guess I would have really made some people made when I was so over the Moon about my wonderful Orfevre winning the Japanese Triple Crown. I talked about him all the time. I would have loved for our Zenyatta to be Bred to him. But (Zenyatta) that would be a long trip for you
      I know we talk about people here and things that happen in the world. Isn’t that human kindness to share the love for others and things. And we share our Heartbreak when bad things happen. And, we pray for others and things. Remember Paynter. We prayed our hearts out him. I believe God heard us.
      Sheena, please don’t pay attention to the negative.

      Dear Sheena I have friends in England and I LOVE hearing all your info and the horses I have grown to love thru your messages. Please don’t leave the blog. I don’t recognize any of those names that complained and I don’t know why they don’t want Zenyatta’s fans and friends to chat about many things, especially horses. She will have a lot of grass to nibble for many months and she would want us to keep busy with all the things horse and dog and cat lovers do. She knows we love her, but she is content with her new life and would not want us to quit following the races and new babies and all the other horses that are working so hard to win and do their jobs just like she did. I vote for the blog I love to read every day. Keep it coming. Nancy

    Dear Z Fans:

    Here’s the replay of the Belmont Oaks today. Time and Motion came on at the end in Z style. Reminded me so much of how Z was closing in on Blame in the 2010 BCC. T and M is a Tapit out of a Kris S mare (she’s got a few of Z’s relatives in her pedigree) and had won her last three starts. Johnny V was aboard. I really like this beautiful girl. Congrats to CAG.     Stay with us. We cannot let negativity win out. I look forward every Friday to my dose of fun with Hovis as well as news of the Euro horses that I otherwise would not know about. And there is only so much we can say about our beloved Zenyatta and her boys. Perhaps those who want only discussions of Zenyatta, The Red Prince and Coz should go over to the Forum where there are specific titles and discussions.

    Dear Kathy.The less said about last night the better.We are awaiting Andy to come on court for his final.It was a thoroughly miserable day for us in Wales yesterday,Ceri and Teg got soaked and it was so humid(as in UK) last night very difficult to sleep.Heavy showers today.Wimbley was waiting for the aliems to visit and he had a box of doughnuts all ready!A good host.The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have just arrived and Nicola Sturgeon is already there.Ray was enjoying his bone.Did you see Dolly in that fabulous dress?A very sad story on Viktor’s page about a black kitten called Nikos?They destroyed his feral colony and he was found hiding.Black cats are sadly overlooked now.I remember my grandparents always had black cats when I was a child.Did you hear about the Toreador that was killed?.The majority of comments were supporting the bull.This is a barbaric sport.Have a blessed Sabbath.Love and hugs to you,kisses for Angel Holly,Nikko and Sugar.Sheena

    O.k. I know this site is about Zenyatta and her children. However, without Ann and Jerry Moss we wouldn’t know what’s happening with her or the boys and the newest members of the family. Therefore, I suggest that while everything seems to be quiet on the home front, perhaps you could cross your fingers for Oregon, a three year old colt in their stable. He’s raced once and only finished 6th, but at least its a start. He had a workout of 49:40 for four furlongs listed on July 2 and another for five furlongs at 1:01.20 on July 9. Besides, Oregon is my home state.

    Huge congratulations to Britain’s Andy Murray for winning the men’s final at Wimbledon this afternoon.His first victory came in 2013.Today he beat Milos Raonic the Canadian in 3 sets 6-4 7-6 7-6.The joy for me is that I have lived to see a British man win twice. No one can spoil it.Well done Andy.Sheena
