Dear Max Was a great win by the Fly Z style!LLoved Ruby’s reaction.SS is taking it easy the next few days his specialist is visiting him on Friday, will hear more then about his future plans.Moosie has nearly 3,000 twitter followers now he cant be The New One’s pacemaker he thinks he should run in the Gold Cup!!!Hugs Sheena
Max
Sheena. The Fly is a marvel, Ruby too. Ruby loves the Fly. Mullin says that the Fly is a once in a generation horse. The Fly’s a character horse too like his sire. They don’t come much quirkier than Montjeu.
Hoping for a recovery without intervention for SS. It might be some odd side effect from his recent breathing problem.
Moosie for the Gold Cup is not beyond the realm of possibility, if only he would run.
I do not like the use of pacemakers in races. Each horse in a race should be racing to win. Glad that they do not do that here.

Dear Max The Fly always reminds me of his daddy.I miss seeing Ruby over in the UK..Silvi is 100% after his King Bruce win. A good chance in the Gold Cup unless the Moose runs LoL Hugs Sheena

Sheena. Montjeu was a very interesting horse, an eccentric genius according to his jockey. Don’t forget that Trêve also has Montjeu is her pedigree.
Mullins says that the Fly will race again in January in Ireland and then will go to Cheltenham in March. Haven’t heard anything about Annie Power.

Mike the Man !
Love him and wish him the Best in 2014.
Ann Maree / Tennessee
Also, I believe Mikey leads in most Grade 1 wins for the year of all jockeys, and he’s second only behind JV for graded stakes wins. He races about 1/3 the races of the leading jocks and he ranks #7 overall, along with having the highest earnings per start of $32,696, approx. twice that of jockeys ahead of him. His pal, Gary Stevens, has risen to #12 for the year, with a similar number of starts and is second to Mikey in average earnings per start of $31,099.
HAPPY NEW YEAR, Z FANS!

What age are you? We can measure our age in years or in attitude. Some people with the most years are the youngest in attitude; some who are young in years are very old. But if we have an “old” attitude, can we change? You bet. Looking for help? Do it yourself. Take the bull by the horns and be your own best friend. Press in closer to that Almighty Spirit who gives life. Remenber-age is just a word unless you lose interest in living.
Nobody knows when we die, maybe tomorrow or ten years.

Dear Kathy Gosh in my mind I’m very young still, then my body reminds me!!Ray is up there’s still ice and snow in Boston and rain with Zeus the storm has passed here again and is mild and quite sunny at the moment.Poor Zoey had the dreaded bath! do the puppies enjoy their baths with you? Hugs to you Kisses for the puppy pack.Sheena
Kathy
Hi Sheena,
I know exactly what you mean! I “feel” young, but when I look in the mirror I see my mother or if I’m having a bad day, my grandmother! I guess in the end all we can do is moisturize the best we can and let the chips fall where they may! lol All my dogs are good for their baths, but I doubt that they’re enjoying it very much. They run around like crazy afterward, kind of like Ray. Sunshine? Get out there and catch some rays today! Enjoy your Monday. Hugs from me, kisses from The Pack. Kathy

Dear Max There’s a new website under development at Warren Place, will be ready for the new flat season.I forgot to mention Frankel’s breyer models are already out of stock, they are going to email me when they get more. A Richard Hannon 2 year old Piping Rock died of colic today. Owners Godolphin are “devastated” they had high hopes for him. Mullins says Fly is better than ever!!hugs Sheena.
Max
Sheena. Thanks for this news. Sorry to hear of this young horse succumbing to colic.
Read about what Ruby and Mullins had said about the Fly. They said his win yesterday was effortless. He sailed over those hurdles. Fly, you’re amazing.

Janet,
I often wonder if this shuttling of horses across hemispheres is a dangerous thing for their health. Several of these stallions have died after being shipped and I worry about Bernie who goes to Austrailia every winter.

In life we experience brokenness, woundedness, and weakness. But take heart, life also offers healing. By living fully in the Spirit, we become stronger, more resilient, and more open to the healing that the Spirit continually offers.
As this year comes to an end and another year begins, remember to be as gentle with yourself and others as you would with the most fragile flower. Be honest but with kindness. Determine what causes pain and seek healing. Erase dark thoughts, and stand free and whole again. That is the gift the Spirit offers each new day, each new year. Claim it with anticipation, hope, and joy that you may live life in all abundance.

Heros ambassador Monsignor died on Friday the 27th after injuring a fetlock in the paddock. He and Frankie Dettori carried the Olympic Torch at Ascot last year.He was 19 yrs old and a beautiful chestnut often known as “Dave”Heaven has found another equine angel.Run free old boy RIP Hugs Sheena
Max
Sheena. Such very sad news. For those who did not know him, Monsignor was a big, gentle chestnut who won against Best Mate in the Tolworth Hurdles. Since his retirement from racing, he has worked as an ambassador for HEROS, an organization for retired racehorses, by appearing at events in support of horses. He’s running free now, probably with Best Mate, who has forgiven him for that loss. Never forgotten, Dave.
