Happy Thursday!

As promised, we have some photos of Cozmic One in training at Mayberry Farm. We were in Florida on a chilly March day to witness Coz gallop around the track. He spent the morning grazing and romping around his paddock. Post-workout, he was back in his stall for a video chat with Ann. A photo of Cozmic One as a foal, standing in a Lane’s End paddock with Zenyatta, hangs in his stall.

We didn’t leave without sitting down with the staff of Mayberry Farm. They generously answered questions for our Ask The Experts feature. We’ll share their answers on the blog over the next few weeks.

    Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! My day has just been made by stopping at the site and here are these wonderful new photos and videos of Coz!! What a fabulous treat and I am so grateful for all of Team Z for keeping Zenyatta’s adoring fans in the circle of her life. We are so fortunate that the Mosses and everyone involved with Zenyatta are so generous and kind and understanding of how much we all love her. Cozmic One is becoming such a beautiful colt and since he has inherited such great looks from our Queen, I hope he has inherited her talent and heart also. Stay safe, Young Prince – we all love you!!

      What a beautiful fellow Coz is. How wonderful for all of us to be able to keep track of Zenyatta and her family. Reaching out to you with a special hug as you remember the loss of your dear husband. Even though it has been 2 years the anniversaries always bring back the loss as if it were yesterday.     I couldn’t agree with Celeste more; we are all so grateful for this website and hearing about the “whole family”! Sure wish we could hear at least a weekly update on Zenyatta herself; she means so much to us out here in Zenyatta Land! I had picked today as her “giving birth” for the contest so guess I missed that one! It’s my oldest son’s birthday today, one of my horses, Smoken Mariah Mack, was born on this day back in 1987. I still have her and love her so dearly. Having a beautiful day here in Texas; wishing a beautiful Spring to all Zenyatta-ites!!

    Thanks for the pictures and video. Looks like he is coming along nicely. Wonder when he will go to John. I suppose there will be a lot of activity around the barn at SA when he does.

    I really miss 13Z. Could we get some video and comments on his future before all the excitement of 14Z? He’s such a beautiful boy and would love to see him moving around his pasture and interacting with his buddies. I love the yearling stage!

    Where does the time go?!?! Seems like last week we crashed your Mother’s site on the day you were born. You are so very handsome, and I am so happy you continue to have your Mother’s ears.

    You look like a racehorse, dear one. I am so excited…I do hope you love and enjoy racing. Do you still make that sound when you run?!?!

      Same here Judy! I was just checking in to see if any news on Zenny and here is more on Coz! Team Z is so good to us Zenyatta lovers! As Zenny has more babies they will have to hire someone specifically to cover all the exciting things going on in their lives. I for one would love it!!!!!

    Oh, thank you so much, LE and Mayberry Farm. You must be doing a marvelous job with our boy, as he looks magnificent! He carries himself beautifully, and we are so proud of him.

    @Jeanne–you are doing a marvelous job with your girl if she is 27. They just fold themselves into our hearts. Agree with you about the weather, but I nearly blew away at Wal-Mart this morning, and that’s some wind to do that!

    @Zenny–even though we don’t mention you in every post, you know you are the reason we are here, and we never forget that for a moment. Hang on a few more days, dear, girl. Pretty soon we’ll all be rejoicing. Prayers for a safe delivery. Hugs to all.

    What can I say, another great moment shared with all of Z’s followers and I cannot give enough thanks for that! We all love that because of Zenyatta, you have shared special memories of her accomplishments and now of the beautiful babies that she has given us. I agree with a previous post that I would love to see some updated pics of Z13 (I saw a few on his birthday), he is such a handsome fellow and will be soon be making his way to Mayberry Farm in Ocala. I pray for a safe delivery for Z and a healthy foal, am anxiously pacing…pacing…pacing…as all of her fans are. My number one concern is always for her and her health and happiness. I hope no matter what her and LIS will be kept together, I think it is key to her happiness, they love each-other so much and have shared a lot of history with one another. I know that it is possible to not to breed her back this time due to foal dates getting late in the season so I hope whatever the decision is that Z and LIS stay together. Well Z, be safe and remain healthy and have an uneventful foaling (healthy foal) because we love you so much and would never want anything to happen to you! You are well loved and admired by all.

    Thank you Team Z and Mayberry Farm for continuing to keep us informed of the one and only COZ. He looks fantastic and is really coming into his own.
