I keep checking in hoping to see Ann and Zenny together again and there they are, Zenny in her winter coat in foal and looking much larger now. Still get tears seeing their special loving bond as Ann embraces her as she calmly eats. So glad she is still with Vixana who got some yummy carrots too. Thanks Team Z, these photos really cheered me up.

What we experienced yesterday does not form or shape our attitudes so much as what happened in childhood. Our beliefs, thoughts, and behavior patterns were formed in childhood and still hold the key to who we are today. Children are natural recorders, taking in minute detail and processing it for future use.If children regularly experience abuse and verbal cruelty, you can bet that they will, in turn, abuse and berate others.
But do our childhood experiences control what we do all of our lives, or can we change? We can definitely change if we really want to. We don’t have to drag imperfections from the past into tomorrow. So it was there. It is not holy, and it has no blessing in it. Some ancestor may be cherished, but to preserve his imperfections as our own is wrong. Claim your own life and fill it with light and love worth recording in years to come.
I have worked with one heart and one object. I have looked ahead into the future and have worked for the children of my people.

There is NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING, except photos of Zenny with her newborns, that I love as much as seeing Ann with her girl. So thank you, Team Z, for these great photos.
Being a hardcore Zenny fan, I also remember that Zenyatta ran her very first race on Thanksgiving, making it important for Ann to see her on this day each and every year if she can. So this makes these moments pictured here even more resonant for me, as Zenny and Ann share her HOF plaque. What a story they have lived together!
