We’re thrilled that so many of you participated in the 2017 Zenyatta Celebration. Wrapping up the event may take us longer than normal this year. The winners of our grand prize drawing and other giveaways will be contacted this Friday, November 15. Celebration Stickers will ship at the end of next week. We appreciate your patience.

All Celebration results will be announced here on the blog. In the meantime, here are some of our favorite fan photos shared throughout the event.

    So happy Songbird going to Mandy. Max you keep me in stitches. Glad to be able to catch up on so many of your posts for a change. My health has been a continuing problem. I have to spend too much time in bed and that leaves me cranky. Hope to have home access to a computer soon. Missed the Zenyatta Celebration this year. It is such a pleasure to see our beautiful, beautiful girl. Praying for Hovis. Love to all.

        Queally will be based at Golden Gate.
        DC was withdrawn by Coolmore from the sales. Not certain if he’s back in training next year.

    Royal Mo has been sold and will stand at stud 2018.We lost 2horses at Cheltenham today Conter Shy and Need to know.Both pulled up injured.Also Midnight Secret has died at Old Friends Cabin Creek.Rest in peace brave souls.

    The short guy suffered a heavy fall on Let’s Dance at Punchestown.The 4-9 favourite took a tumble at the 4th last flight .The short guy has a suspected broken leg.He had been due to ride Faugheen in the Morgiana tomorrow.His first race since January 2016.Ruby must be gutted at this moment.

        • I read about shorty. Serious injuries, although he was still tweeting on the way to the hospital. After the fall, he was rolled on by Let’s Dance and then she kicked him in the head. He’s likely to be out of action for a very long time.

        Wow, rolled on and then kicked in the head by Let’s Dance — it does sound like the short one will be out of action for awhile. Maybe Let’s Dance had heard about Our Conor, also. That was a very tragic incident, and Ruby was very inconsiderate regarding OC.

        I trust Let’s Dance is okay?

        • He had falls earlier in the day on Minnie Dahill and Inviiation Only as well as Let’s Dance. So far, they are all okay.

        • Incredibly the short one escaped surgery for the broken leg. If you read the list of his injuries since 1999, it’s amazing that he is still riding. Wish him a speedy recovery.

    Such a great week checking Zenyatta’s Celebration website, watching the Breeders’ Cup, and the new coverage of the Melbourne Gold Cup…

    And watching “Zenyatta: Queen of Racing” again… WONDERFUL!

    Some bunny’s happy tonight.Sleeping in his own bed and PJ’s Hovis is back home!!!A bit worse for wear according to Karen but he’ll get there.Plenty of TLC and some mares with no morals will soon help him recover.Happy days!

      Hope all goes well now. He’s been through an ordeal. Frankly, I doubt that I could handle any bad news about this horse.

        • Yes. General anaesthesia is a tricky prospect for anyone. Then for a horse you have the added colic and laminitis threat. Here’s to smooth sailing for horse and fans.
