Zenyatta will not be bred this year. She continues to do well and is looking great with her new paddock buddy—even sharing her cookies. We’ll post more photos of them soon!

We appreciate all of the love and support her fans have shown. While we understand the concern the public has for Zenyatta’s well-being, we ask that you do not contact Lane’s End Farm to inquire about Zenyatta or her foals. We do our best to be generous with information and to share Zenyatta’s life with her fans through this website. Zenyatta.com will continue to be the source of official updates on all things Zenyatta.

      Hope you have had a thoughtful and reverent Independence Day. I join in sending wishes for God’s blessings and protection for our country — with guidance “. . .through the night with a light from above. . .” ?

      Did anyone hear the soloist doing “This is My Country” on the Macy’s July 4th Celebration (on TV)? What a beautiful voice and perfectly lovely rendition. His name is Devin Zamir Coleman. Brilliant! I also watched The Capitol Fourth as usual — I never tire of Renée Fleming’s voice and the 1812 Overture. I love Jimmy Buffet, too. Congrats to Kelly Clarkson on a nice delivery of “God Bless America” for the Macy’s show.

    The Niarchos family are mourning the loss of their 2017 Prix de Diane winner Senga last thursday.The daughter of Blame(remember him) was in foal to Galileo.Much sympathy to all connections and RIP Senga.Just 4yrs old

    Hi Everyone,

    Does anyone know why it’s been so long since we’ve heard anything about Zenyatta or her filly? There hasn’t ben a new post since May 24th. I know Team z doesn’t owe us anything, but when you get used to fairly regular news and then there’s nothing… it’s kind strange!

    As they have said Zenyatta is doing great. We just have to have a lot of patience. I to would love to know the filly’s name if she has one yet and when she might be sent to John Sheriffs barn. But Lanes End is a very big operating farm. I’m sure they will inform us of any news when they can. I’m just grateful they inform us of anything because they have no obligation to do so.

    Donnacha O’Brien will be reunited with Saxon Warrior in the Eclipse on saturday.Ryan flies out to the US to ride Mendelssohn at Belmont.The seeds keep falling at Wimbledon.Last year’s runner up Marin Cilic was knocked out in 5 sets and there was a shock defeat tonight for reigning Ladies singles champion Gabine Muguruza she was completely outplayed by the Belgian Alison Van Uytvanck.Britain’s Kyle Edmund is through to meet Novak Djokovic on saturday.

    The most expensive yearling from 2017 the FrankelxDank filly has been renamed Maria Dalinova.Originally named Gloam she was bought by Godolphin for £4,000,000gns.She is in training with John Gosden.Maria Dalinova was a Russian ballerina who sadly died aged 17ys

    Dear Zenny Friends,
    I have some very sad news to pass along today. Our dear friend Keta (BlueGrassGirl) passed away on July 4th after a lengthy cardiac illness. Ironically, July 4th was also the date that her dear husband, Bob, died several years ago. There are just no words for how much she will be missed. She shared so much with all of us, and there will always be a huge hole in our hearts. She was tenderly cared for by her daughter, Cheryl, and also leaves a son and another daughter. I am so grateful that I had an opportunity to visit Pheonix and meet her in person. We had a fun afternoon at Turf Paradise, and then she and Cheryl were charming hostesses at lunch the next day for me and Diana Stuart. I don’t know anything yet about arrangements or what she (or the family) might have requested as memorials. I will keep you posted

      I am in shock and so very sad at this news. Our Keta is one of the original Z’sters and posted so many interesting and informative info for us. She was active in equine rescue and a sweet, loving friend to us. I will miss her dearly. All my love and condolences to her children, family and friends.

          I’m not sure how old Keta was. I’ll bet she was doing less on social media because she may not have been feeling well. She posted here recently, but maybe she was limited due to her health. I don’t know. Not sure if she had health issues for a while or if this was sudden. Such a sad loss for us and so soon after Karen G.

    Dear Mendelssohn, Oh My, just waiting so patiently to see you race again. So looking forward to seeing you Saturday. God Speed. Can’t remember the name of your race but its at 436 Eastern. My dear Analyze It, Can not wait till Saturday to see you. I know your facing a really tough group of horses. But I know you can do it. Love the Turf races and they say you boys should be some of the best Turf runners in the country in the Belmont Invitational Derby. Catholic Boy, My Boy Jack, Marauh and I believe Aidan O’Brien has one entered as well. Listen Analyze It. You’ve only lost one race in your career. I know you can do this.     Shout Out to Steve Haskins for remembering our “Great” Damascus and Dr. Fager. Two of my favorites. Thank You so much for remembering what greats they were. Loved the HRRN talk show. Brought tears to my eyes remembering these greats, what they did and the Heart that they put into it. Thank You Steve I sure wish too that the great race of Dr. Fager that is lost could be found. Oh and by the way, He’s in my Quiet’s Pedigree on his moms side. Love remembering him.
