Happy Wednesday!

Alys took these great photos of Zenyatta playing in her paddock. We think she looks especially beautiful set against the snowy Lane’s End landscape.

Team Z and the staff at Lane’s End are getting ready for the arrival of this year’s foals. Accordingly, we’d like to invite the next round of questions for our “Ask The Experts” column. Questions related to the foaling process will be considered first, but all questions are welcome.

We look forward to hearing from you!

    Keta, Sign, Judy B and all the Concerned Well Wishers;

    We have 30 inches of snow where I am, but we still have power, “Thank God”! It is about 20 degrees here but with the wind at 30-40 mph it feels like 0! These pics of our beloved “Queen” are simply breath taking with her round belly, fuzzy coat, and her sense of fun and adventure!

    Keta: Thanks for the pics and video of the new foal’s such hope and promise for the future! I hope and pray your daughter is alright in NY?

    Judy B: Thanks for the stories of PC and his shananagins! What a personality you and Angela have on your busy little hands! I hope and pray for you during this stressful blizzard!

    To Anyone who may not remember what your momma taught you: “If you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all”! (Words to live by!) Please be kind to your friends, family, and especially strangers, you may not know what they are going through or dealing with. It doesn’t cost a dime to be kind! With all the sadness and stress in people’s lives how difficult is it to pleasant? It saddens me to see and hear unkind words being spoken hear and in other places, “please be kind or rewind”!

    Thought for the Day: I don’t think our beloved Zenyatta would want or appreciate any of us being unkind to fellow bloggers or any person for that matter, Zenyatta and her team are all about love and respect. My thoughts and prayers our with my fellow East Coaster’s! Wishing everyone good health and happiness!

      Daughter just sent photos of walking her 6 month old Dalmatian in the snow.
      He was trying to figure out what happened to his world.
      She has electricity this time–that is good news.

      @Max–please do not leave us! Believe me, I know exactly how you feel. I have had a REALLY bad day today and came here to get some respite, and the same old stuff rears its ugly head again. One would think that the admonishment from LE and Team Z. would be enough, but apparently not.

      Dear GS,

      Oh my gosh, 30 inches, in NY. Hope you are able to dig out and are able to keep warm.
      Remember in the storm of 1978, curled up on sofa bed with 10 blankets on, no power
      and just reading a book to pass the time. Digging out was difficult to and took
      a lot of time. Hope that you are doing well.

I will probably get blocked for saying this, but I don’t understand how she is still being allowed to bully people and is not blocked.     help you find/understand your strengths rather than blaming others
    for your weaknesses, taking things personally that are not meant
    for you and having others speak for you and speaking for others.

    As individuals we have self-worth and self-esteem that is not

    Keta, I agree with you 100% that what Sign is doing is cyber-bullying and it is out of control! Every single time Vertigineux and Street Cry are mentioned, this happens! These attacks are getting vicious in my opinion and they need to be stopped!

      Keta. I was hoping for Pool Play to win this race. He’s a wonderful warrior who is owned by Lane’s End and trained by Tasty’s trainer, Mark Casse. It is great to see that Mr. Farish is still racing this talented horse. Graydar is however a worthy winner. He was bred by Lane’s End, so that they must still be very proud this weekend.

    Keta, Louise and others,
    Thank you for being brave and stating what many others have wanted to say for a long time. Yes, SIGN is a big cyber BULLY, and the reason I’ve not posted here in months. Many of us in a group on FB even considered sending a petition to the “ask a question” asking to have her blocked.
    She is causing many to leave and depriving this site of it’s spirit of kinship, friendship, joy, and love, and running off true expert insiders, who used to share their stories, photos and knowledge with all of us.
    I would think treating Trina, Keta, Max and all the many others this way even after the warning from Lane’s End would result in removing her. We can hope. Until then she is robbing this site of the beauty it once had all under the ruse of “sweetness.”
    Max, please don’t leave.

      Count me among those who quit posting because of the toxicity….I stop in usually right after a new post to thank the Lane’s End folks for all they do for us, and because I love Zenny so, I would never stop completely. And, it’s not that I can’t take care of myself in these situations, but I figure life is just too short to waste any of it spent in a toxic atmosphere. Amen, Ashto! Amen, Louise!

    Well, I came here today to laugh and smile and well, that didn’t happen. Instead, I just had to shake my head and wonder; why in the world is this “Person” still on here to disturb everyone else? Actually, we all seem to know who it is now. Sign, sign etc… It’s a shame that you have to be this way.
    Ok, I’ve said what I needed to about that.

    Way to go, Slim Shady and Gary!!!! Also to Point of Entry, he ran a great race and so did Animal Kingdom (thought he moved too early). More great racing tomorrow!!
