Happy Wednesday!
As you may know, we were in Kentucky last week visiting Zenyatta, 14Z, and Ziconic. We posted photos from Lane’s End on Instagram and Facebook throughout the week, and we were happy to see so many of you following!
It still felt like summer in Kentucky, and we arrived to a beautiful full moon. We brought lots of pears, carrots, and mints with us and spent time with the horses every morning and afternoon.
This trip was extra special because Jeanne, April, and Jackie from Mayberry Farm were in town for the yearling sale. They were thrilled to spend time with us at Lane’s End and to meet Ziconic and Z Princess for the first time. It won’t be long before Ziconic goes to their the farm in Ocala for training.
Scroll down to see more photos from our visit. One of our favorites is available in the shop today!
Today’s post is dedicated to Street Cry, who will live on through Zenyatta, her children, and champions around the world.
Enjoy!

Thank you so much for the beautiful pictures of Zenyatta and Z Princess!!! She is such an amazing mom! I can’t wait for her kids to begin showing up at the racetrack!!

What a beauty Princess Z is, looks just like her mother and Ziconic is SO handsome, he is going to be a real looker on the race track. Zenyatta is grace and perfection as usual. Horse breeding and care at its finest.

Thanks so much for all the lovely pictures. I am so sad to of lost the great Sire of Sires, and Zenyatta’s Dad Street Cry today. He was such a great sire. His progeny will live on thru his handsome colts and beautiful daughters. At 16 years of age, he certainly has left us far too soon. These pictures sure helped to lift a heavy heart, as anything Zenyatta always does! Thanks so much for taking the time and trouble to share with her fans, I bask in all her light and glory!

Thank you for all the great pictures and for dedicating this blog to Street Cry. It made me cry a lil bit. Also happy that the Mayberrys were able to visit Zi and Princess Z. Can’t wait to see how Zi takes to training in Florida.
Recent pics of Coz are also stunning. He’s growing into such a Handsome boy. Great first work too.

Such precious beautiful ones!!! So sorry Queen Zenyatta on the loss of your Dad, he was far too young. Bless your heart and your babies’ hearts, they are gorgeous. I am so very thankful you and they are so very well taken care of. Blessings to you all. Love you.

The love that Ann shows for this amazing mare and her filly brings me to tears! To see the bond they have is just incredible. I’d like to think that I emote that same type of bond when people see me with my mare. It is just beautiful. Wonderful photos, great way to capture the moment. Kudos to the photographer!

Thank you so much for these photographic treasures. Each and everyone is an ooooh/aaaahhhh moment. So wonderful to see 4 legged and 2 legged family together. Delightful to see the Mayberry’s too.
I like to think Grandpa and Papa to Z would be thrilled too.
What a special week it must have been.

Thanks for all the beautiful pictures of Zenyatta and two ‘babies’ (not for long!). It’s exciting to follow them all, esp now with Cozmic One at the track. I hope Zenyatta enjoys her year off….

Wow!! Thank you, thank you! ♥
I just realized how much Z’s, Ziconic’s, and Z Princess’ blazes are alike. The “Force” is strong in them!! :D The lil princess is a real looker!!
I’ve also enjoyed reading about Cozmic One on various racing sites. :) The one on espn.go is especially good with the extensive interview with John Shirreffs. What a fabulous trainer he is!! Z’s babies are so lucky! I wish him many, many years of health so he can continue to train.

WOW! This is an album, Team Z — and the shots of Zenny are just fabulous. I must have seen hundreds of shots of Zenny over the years but every time I see a new photo, my heart just melts. The Princess is growing so fast and Ziconic is a magnificent colt.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
VALE Street Cry. You will be remembered through your sons and daughters — especially Zenny and her family.

Thank you to Jerry & Ann Moss and all of Team Z for the beautiful pictures of Zenyatta, Princess Z and Ziconic! Zenyatta looks fabulous and Princess Z and Ziconic are gorgeous! I think Zenyatta looks as happy to see Ann and Jerry as they are to see her. Ann and Zenyatta truly have a special bond and it is wonderful to see. Thanks for letting us continue to share Zenyatta’s journey.
I’m very sad to hear about the passing of Street Cry. He was a terrific race horse and sire but thankfully his legacy will live on through his off spring and their families. My deepest sympathy to his connections.
Hugs to all,
Leslie

I always enjoy seeing the new pictures and this time was no exception. Zenyatta does not lose her appeal and her colts and filly are just beautiful too. I have signed up to get notifications and confirmed by e-mail and gotten confirmation that I am signed up, but I do not get the notices. I check in when I can, but I would just love to get the notices so I wouldn’t miss any new pictures. I did miss out on the tee shirt sale as the Barn 55 was sold out by the time I knew to check in. Can someone please help me?
Roni
I likewise signed up for the email list, but haven’t been receiving any emails or notifications…couldn’t tell if that was supposed to be happening or not. Anyone know what the issue might be?
