We held a special gathering at John Sherriffs’ Santa Anita barn to share and sign copies of Zenyatta’s Hall of Fame plaque. It was a wonderful reunion of Zenyatta’s human family—Ann, John, Dottie, jockey Mike Smith, and groom Mario Espinoza were among those in attendance. Each person received a plaque signed by the rest of the team, and Coz and Ziconic whinnied in approval.
Enjoy!

Thank you so much for posting these photos. It is great to see the humans in Zenyatta’s family looking so happy and well. CoZ and Ziconic look great too. Mrs. Moss and CoZ, you made me cry when CoZ was smelling his Mother’s, Our Queen’s, scent on the bracelet Mrs. Moss wears: what a wonderful family time!!!

Coz and Ziconic are quite a couple of very handsome boys.
Does Coz have equine reveries of his beautiful mum when he sniffs Ann’s bracelet?
Thanks to Team Z for sharing this news and photos with all of us!

October 28 Cherokee Devotional
We are human, and human beings tend to judge by how they feel. But our feelings are not reliable. Feelings ebb and flow-they are not steady. Observe your feelings for a while, and see how they move back and forth: they flow this way with good news, and that way with bad. We know how easily bad feelings can trap us in self-pity. Forlorn and wretched, we feel abandoned, blue. The blues come from mismanaged emotions-relying on everything negative rather than being of good courage. Manage your emotions by focusing on the positive-and your life will run much more smoothly.
Every spirit wants to look his very best when he goes to meet the Great Spirit.

Dear Kathy. Our clocks go back this weekend so I hab a sad!Yours next weekend I think. There is to be an auction for the Wilberry pony charity set up by the amazing Hannah Francis. One prize is to spend time with Hovis get lots of selfies and cuddles and ride him!He won’t mind after all he has to put up with from his women.
Mango is on her way home she looked beautiful on the show and even visited Ground Zero it was cold and chilly there still very mild over here but all change next week! The beautiful eagle chick has got a name she is to be called Freya. We will next see her on Winterwatch and hopefully for many years to come. Some great stories of ex-racers rescued on Racehorses Where arethey now one called Silver and Smoke I think. The breeder helped her and now she is showing also foaled in January.Poor Judy is having difficulty shaking off her cough and cold.I will be thinking of Ray as he goes through his treatment today.A sad night for me as Desmond Carrington hangs up his headphones tonight after 35yrs of “making the music go round”There will be tears I know.I loved the Zoeism today we really do have to love ourselves.Justin Zayat has tweeted a photo of their Frankel foal He is progessing well.I’ll be cheering for the evergreen Cue Card tomorrow in the Charlie Hall.Thinking of our sweet Princess today and what might have been.God needed her more than us.Have a great day.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Angel Holly,Nikko and Sugar,SheenaXOXO.Mr Fibbs needs to be campaigning not waiting for Halloweem!
Kathy
Dear Sheena,
It will be tough having it get dark so early. Our clocks go back on November 5th. Only good thing is that we will get an hour more of sleep! Oh man, wouldn’t it be great to visit Hovis and even get to ride him? Mango looked really good on the show. Mom did a really good job in the interview. I did see that they visited Ground Zero. I really like the name Freya! She’s sure to gain a lot of followers. Silver and Smoke…another great name! I worry about Judy. I hope she’s better soon. Thinking about Ray and Cheryl today. I’ll be so relieved when all the chemo treatments are behind them! I’m sorry Desmond is stepping down. We wish our favorites would go on forever! Zoe’s Zoeism was particularly good today. If we don’t love ourselves, who else will? I’ll have to look at Justin Zayat’s tweet. Enjoy the Charlie Hall tomorrow! Yes, a sad day as we remember Z Princess. God is cradling her in His arms. I hope the zombies don’t mess with Fibbs! Have a wonderful day. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Angel Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy XOXO
