Epicharis walks shedrow, still on for Belmont
By Jay Privman Daily Racing Form 06/09/2017
ELMONT, N.Y. – Epicharis, who is being treated for an issue with his right front hoof that required him being outfitted in a glue-on shoe, on Friday remained a candidate for the Belmont Stakes on Saturday, even though he did not go to the track at Belmont Park for the second straight morning.
Epicharis walked the quarantine barn’s shedrow under a rider for approximately 12 minutes on Friday morning after being hand-walked for about 20 minutes. During the course of the morning, he was examined by Dr. Anthony Verderosa, the chief veterinarian for the New York Racing Association, and the colt’s private vet was scheduled to look at him later in the day. http://www.drf.com/news/epicharis-walks-shedrow-still-belmont

A bonus for Epicharis, bettors, and Belmont Park

Eighteen months ago, officials at the New York Racing Association, the operator of Belmont Park and two other state racetracks, put in motion a plan to lure more horses from Japan to New York. http://www.drf.com/news/bonus-epicharis-bettors-and-belmont-park
So great to see so many postings. I really miss keeping up with everyone. Dearest Zenyatta looks so beautiful and happy. Baby Girl is just precious. I still am not able to drive due to weakness in my arms. If I get out three times a month I am lucky. Not complaining though. So many are much worse off than I am. Reading huge stacks of books. News too dreadful to watch. Loved the Epsom Derby! Can’t wait for Royal Ascot.
I agree with both of you! We could use a lot more noble character and natural beauty in our lives. No better examples than the gorgeous equines of today, those currently in retirement and those heroes of the past, too.
Good to hear from you Vicki. May your health continue to improve — thoughts and prayers for recovery and good mobility.
Power Up Epicharis.
Gormley, maybe you and Songbird had some great conversation on the plane. Now, get your head back to racing and have a Safe Trip! Surely you are on cloud 9. Float over that track now kiddo.
Love to all. Safe and sound to all of these precious babies.
What beautiful pictures. Zenyatta is such a special being. I am so happy for her. This baby girl knows she is royalty, She already has a presence. So happy all is
well. Thank you for sharing.
Hello my name is Louise and I have cancer. Like millions of others, I know that I am not alone in this battle. But as I go through this journey I started my bucket list. First on that List is to be able to go to the Kentucky Derby. I want to dress like a beautiful Lady in a pretty dress and big hat. Second on that list is to meet Zenyatta. To me she is the greatest race horse (Mare) ever and as far as I am concerned she has never lost a race in her career.
Well these two things on my list is just a dream, because I know financially i won’t be able to do this. So please posting pictures and keep me up to date about her and her foals. Thank You

These photos are awesome. Thanks so much for sharing. She looks like she is a runner. Her blaze in one of the photos looks like a flower.
