    Hi everyone. Hope you’re all having a good weekend….especially you, Zenyatta and your little (?) girl. :-) :-) About Faversham, heard Art Sherman on local radio show this morning — he said that most likely F would be pointed to Del Mar. As we know, things can change, but that’s what he said this morning. Was nice to hear his voice again….it had been a while. He also said that Chrome has had 130 “dates”– (he did not use that word, lol) already!!! Wow, he’ s sure been busy in his new career.

    Dear Sheena and Z Fans:

    Willow had a beautiful filly this morning at 5:00 AM. Thank God the foaling went easily and both of them are doing fine. Shes 3/4 TB and 1/4 Quarter Horse. Angela named her Zighetti (means Jocks in Italian) for her farm, Jocks Horse Farm. Going to see her tomorrow. Can’t wait. She’s adorable. Here are some photos Angela sent me. Love and Hugs, JB

        Dear Max:

        Yes, Willow is a Gray. Like so many of them, her coat has gotten lighter with age. She’s 17 now. I’m so relieved that everything went well and both of them are fine.

        I misspelled the baby’s name; it’s Fighetti (Fee Get Tee) not Zighetti. I must have had Z on my mind. Not sure where Angela found that it means Jocks because the word for jockey in Italian is Fantino. I have to ask her. Love and Hugs, JB

    RIP Well Chief who died at Timmy Murphy’s farm in Gloucestershire on June 1st aged 18.The dreaded colic again.He was well known in the 2000’s but had separate long lay offs with leg issues.Despite this he won an Arkle,a Celebration chase and a Victor Chandler under top weight.He had lived with his rider Timmy in his retirement and was owned by the late David Johnson Rest well bonnie ladX

    John Ferguson has resigned as racing advisor to Sheikh Mohammed and Godolphin.The racing post published an in interview with Saeed Bin-Suroor last week and it was obvious cracks had formed in their relationship.Bin Suroor had called the latest juveniles a “disaster” no way to describe any horse in my humble opinion and was annoyed when James Doyle was retained one of their jockeys.Sheikh Mo has paid tribute to John for his excellent service over the years.Ferguson said his position was “tenable”.
