We know you’ve all been waiting for more photos!
Team Z and Lane’s End are proud to share these images from the birth of Zenyatta’s second colt. Based on the response we’ve received, it seems that the world is as excited as we are.
We had a spectacular day on the farm, and we are saying our goodbyes for now. Mom and her little one are now relaxing, bonding, and spending some quiet time alone.
There are still more photos from this trip to come. We’ll post again soon with news about 13Z and his older brother!
Enjoy!

Everyone: I want to extend my thanks to all who posts links of previous races. It is impossible to have ones eyeballs on all races at all times, so a big thanks to those who do this. In particular now I’m referring to Black Caviar’s race (Judy Berube and others) and that extremely strange one at Pimilco.(Vicki B and others.) It was mentioned on a radio show this morning, but I had no clue. So, it is good not to be clueless–at least as I write this. The day is young.
One race I’m glad I did not miss is One Fast Frog yesterday at S.A. Frog collector that I am, I made sure to bet $2 across. Hooray for the ribbeter! Also, I was very happy with Handsome Mike/Mario and Leandro (Doug) at Keeneland.
And, of course, enjoyed the pic of Z13’s nosey nose!
Happy Sunday to you all.

OMG,
The Bolting Horse from yesterday. I know that feeling completely. (Trina) remember what I told you about my horse bolting with me.
This is a terrifying experience. I just could not stop Rebel. Could not stop him at all. And, where he went back to was his barn and his friends. Some horses really have a strong will. Back in those days I thought of myself as a really good rider, but I could not stop Rebel. So I just held on for dear life. I did stay on and that was what I was so Thankful for.
I think Rebel just did not want to go where we were going and He decided to really show me. I could not stop him and he was one of my two favorite horses.
My dad once told me to remember horses have a mind of their own.
So Glad Jockey and Rider are safe
Happy Sunday to All, I think we will hear from Zenyatta and family soon.

Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this blog. It’s simple,
yet effective. A lot of times it’s challenging to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and visual appeal. I must say you have done a fantastic job with this. In addition, the blog loads super fast for me on Firefox. Exceptional Blog!
