    Dear Judy
    Thanks for the post and greetings to Megan,Ben and baby Eden.
    All are doing well, we are having Thanksgiving dinner here on the weekend and Dad will hold his great granddaughter for the first time. 4 generations together, we are so lucky.
    Yes, you put it so well, Secretariat’s big heart matched his big personality.I did tear up
    when I saw him try so hard to reach the children.

    To all those in Hurricane Mathew’s path, prayers that you all stay safe.

    Getting close to the anniversary of the day we lost the beautiful Z Princess. Still miss that wonderful little girl and cry for what might have been. Can’t help but hope this next baby is a filly. Hope every one remembers to send their gifts to the horse charity that is closest to their hearts in memory of her.

    Dear Judy:I am sure the Lloyd Webbers would love So-Mi-Dar to come over for the BC but final decision will be John Gosden’s.Frankel’s chestnut colt is gorgeous he has the same fluid walk as his father.Coolmore must be happy to get him.Mei Luan and Mei Huan are leaving for China next month they are over 3 yrs old now and the new cubs are doing so well.Storm has arrived in Florida.Very quiet weather here dry and colder.Goodnight God bless you LM PC HT Cap Hercules Frank Bentley and all the sweeties.Love and hugs SheenaX

    Hi all my Zster friends; I sure have had a rough emotional week. I learned on Tues. am from hubby while I was out doing horse chores that he got a call from my sister and that Karen, my truly beautiful and compassionate niece was taken to the hospital the late afternoon Monday and things did not look good. She had suffered a major stroke and was on life support. After getting a phone call from Karen’s mom, my twin sister, we were invited to come to perhaps say our good byes, which just broke my heart to hear. A doctor panel said there was no hope so little brain activity. I am so happy I could see my niece who I love dearly and talk to her gently. (They say the hearing is the very last thing to go) Needless to say my sis and hubby and her hubby and other siblings had to make decisions. Tonight life support was pulled and I have not heard anything yet.
    A long time dear friend since high school called concerned for my sis and Karen. Then I find out that she was in hospital scheduled for open heart surgery today too!
    Please say a prayer for my dear niece Karen and her parents, my sis Sue & John and Karen’s husband Merlyn. I am a real mess but I think God had a reason to bring Karen home. Pray for a successful recovery for Sue L.
    I am sorry I just had to pour my heart out.

    Oh,how heartbreaking for you to have to say goodbye to your beautiful niece. I am sure she heard you.Your words would be like a balm for her and bring her comfort and peace. Sending love and prayers for Karen and her parents- so devastating and shocking for your twin sister and her husband to lose a child so suddenly. Prayers for Karen’s husband Merlyn also. Big hugs to you,what a week. I am so sorry for your loss.
    Finally prayers for your good friend Sue L who had heart surgery,may she make a very good recovery.
    Sally, no need for sorry, I am glad you felt you could tell your story. I may not know you but I said goodbye to two people I loved when I didn’t know they heard me,yet in my heart I know they did. So I feel for you so deeply and am glad you shared -what a week .       Judy,
      I hate to see any of them leave the country. It does appear that we can keep an eye on them from time to time. Still mad at Ken Ramsey for selling Stephanie’s Kitten the way he did!

      Sure hope Rick Porter keeps Songbird when she is ready to retire. Would break my heart to see her go out of the USA. Perhaps Barbara or Mandy Pope would buy her since he does not keep his girls.

      Thanks for our Hovis diary. Hovis will surely waste away what with Mum’s boot-camp workouts and diminished rations! Poor fellow, he may very well fly, but it will be due to his “featherweight”! It is very sad to be hungry. ? Thank goodness for Aunty H and the smuggled carrot!

    Dear Judy;Maybe could only be viewed in UK.She is a gorgeous grey and is unbeaten.They couldn’t even sell her for £1000 as a yearling.Tayside police took a chicken into custody today for trying to cross the road!The chicken was reported by motorists in Eastmarket gait Dundee at around 8.30am.3 policemen were needed to catch the chicken.You can imagine the comments!Good Luck to Amanda and Hudson tomorrow.Goodnight God bless you LM PC HT Cap Hercules Frank Bentley and all the sweeties.Love and hugs SheenaX
