    The photo with the fence line leading right to Zen is the best composition I have seen in a long time. She looks very content. Doesn’t look as pregnant as in past.

    Thanks to Team Z and Alys for giving us these great photos and the video! Love the little dance moves and the “play bow” or the downward dog stretch, too. Zenyatta, your mane is lovely, and your coat is glowing! You are quite gorgeous.

    September 29 Cherokee Devotional

    Mother Nature is at it again. She says, I have bedded down my things beneath a blanket of leaves and sometime later it will show. I go to the trunk of a huge oak and find the woodbine there and brush it with brilliant red, and what I have left over I spread across the outer oak leaves. I fling a gauzy curtain of blue-gray over the hills and I paint the meadows gold and beige and trim them with shades of leftover green. I tell the dogwoods to turn their berries to a bright red and their leaves to all shades of pink and green. I curl the bark from the cottonwood or the sycamore and watch it drift down a slow moving creek. The Creator put me to work at the beginning of time and I have never given it up. Each season gives me reason to renew and to think how I can make things more beautiful. Yellow is my favorite color, but then so is red and green and blue and all the others that I have so lavishly supplied to me. Come walk with me and the deer and the wild turkeys and all my other friends, and let us share the faith of the Creator.

    Dear Kathy.Mother Nature is the greatest artist.There is no one to match her.I was pretty late posting yesterday it was a horrendous day here so wet but muggy thank goodness it has cleared up today and is fresh.Fantastic photos of Zenyatta I think they are watching her weight this time.Very wise.It was funny to read about Blueberry dunking his hay and how he loves chatting to his farm neighbours.Everyone says it will be a tearjerker at Olympia.
    I have just seen the news about Little Cakees dying on her mum’s birthday.Bless her she never recovered from mother’s death.They are together now forever.Judy is so upset it seems she is allergic to bird brudder Jade.She never had pneumonia but has asthma.He is just as much of a child to her as the dogs are.It will be heartbreaking for her to lose him.I am glad you are enjoying the pics of Kate.She was incredibly thin in that red gown.Really needs to put on some weight.Princess Anne is recovering Mia Tindell is a little cutie she gets on so well with Peter’s daughters. Mike says they have no intention of sending her to boarding school.Gosh,Meg Ryan looks strange after all the work she’s had done.What do you think of Mullins and Gigginstown parting company?Michael O’ leary could easily afford the rise in trainer’s fees.He is the boss of that low-budget airline Ryanair.Some horses are going to young Joe but most to Gordon Elliot who hopes Don Cossack will be back in training soon.Lovely video of Jack O enjoying himself and we had an ode to medisin from Wimbley.Zoe was enjoying herself in the shopping trolley.We had a murder in Cardiff yesterday pretty rare in Wales a young couple were stabbed when leaving Matalan after their shiftsThey have arrested a 20yr old.

      Isn’t O’Leary the guy who tried to charge people to use the washrooms on Ryanair planes? That didn’t work out so well. Same thing might happen with removing the horses. Horses like routine. They are used to Mullins and his yard. That Closutton yard is a mighty fine place. Mullins is a genius as a buyer of horses and as a trainer. Who else takes a bite in the butt for the cause?

        Yes, you are right about Michael O’Leary and the charge for washrooms.He surely has enough money to pay Willieit’s the first rise in 10yrs .Gordon Elliot has got 20 of the more famous horses including Apple’s Jade and Don Poli.Maybe more to it than we know?Mullins is a genius with horses as we both know.

        • Apple and Don are very good horses, but not in the league of Annie Power, Faugheen or Douvan, Ricci’s horses. This move will make it much easier for Mullins to plan his horse race strategies. O’Leary also dictated the jockey choice. You do not however have to be a big owner like Ricci or McManus to strike pure gold. Quevega, Thousand Stars and The Fly are examples of that. Mullins saw the signs of greatness and nurtured them.

        • JudyB. I watched a video of Mullins training his horses. Several of them took shots at him when they passed by as he was standing in the training path. He had to be sure to stand just out of range. The spirit of Big D lives on.

    That’s good the weather has improved today! Zenny is always just stunning. I agree, they seem to be watching her weight very carefully. Blueberry is so delightful. Always enjoy those cute insider stories. I was so very sorry to read about Little Cakees’ passing. She is with her Mommy and we all need to hold onto that. Feeling so sorry for Judy. I appreciate her close bond with her fur and feather kids! I know losing Jade will rip her heart out. I don’t know, maybe someone who knows her will adopt him and she can at least visit him. So sad. It’s very cool to get to see Will and Kate’s Canadian trip pics. She’s such a fashion plate. I agree, though, she needs to carry more weight. I don’t get it…you know they’re being fed. What does she do? Just push the food around on the plate? Totally foreign to me! lol Good to know Princess Anne is better. Yes, Mia is adorable. Good that she is friends with Peter’s daughters. I think Meg Ryan is a poster child for plastic surgery gone wrong! RE Mullins and Gigginstown, I guess everything comes down to money. Sad! People thinking of themselves and disregarding the animals’ welfare. The video of Jack-O is just charming. Funny, that ode to medisin! Good to know Zoe went shopping. Very therapeutic! Sad to read of the Cardiff murder. Ray’s chemo is tomorrow. I’ll be so relieved when he’s done with all of the treatments. I wish you a lovely day, too.     Thank you for sharing these wonderful new photos and video of Zenyatta with those of us who love her from afar. All of the photos are beautiful and revealing to us her excellent state of health and contentment, for which I am so deeply grateful. I love the video of her anticipating the food arrival – too cute!! I am always wishing I could find the words to express how fortunate I feel that Team Zenyatta continues to give us these glimpses into the daily life of our Queen. To some it might seem tedious to go through these little details of her days, but it gives all of us so much joy and pleasure to continue the connection to her somehow. Thank you!

    The fabulous filly Winx has been crowned Australian horse of the year and is to aimed at the Cox’s Plate and Caulfield Cup.
    Air Force Blue has been retired to stud .Sadly he never regained his 2yr old form.Sheena
