Happy Wednesday!
Ann and Jerry recently went to Lane’s End to visit Zenyatta and her colt. They had a blast and were thrilled to see how much 12Z has grown. Alys sent us a video and some photos to share with you.
Don’t forget to check back tomorrow, as we will be announcing some exciting details about the Breeders’ Cup Zenyatta Party!
Enjoy!

I agree. Zenyatta still is radiant. So glad she still has her dancing moves. Zenyatta is the Dancing Queen.
Z12 is definitely a handsome fellow. Thanks for all the wonderful pictures.

Zenyatta is just as beautiful as always. I see she still dances for everyone that surrounds her. l. Love that girl. Would like to see more videos of her. I know she is coming due with another foal in Feb, looking forward to that.
When is Baby Z going to get named, still waiting to hear.

Thanks, Keta!
Beautiful piece, Abigail!! You write SO well. What a wonderful tribute to Frankel, Sir Henry, and ALL his connections. They are the best. The love that abounds and the sensitivity to the horse are reminiscent of Team Z.
Again, great writing, Abigail!

Here is a picture of 25 year old Torbay, with his rider Elizabeth Barr. Torbay is a son of Secretariat, and a full brother to Tinners Way (about $2 million in earnings). He is making his showing debut on Sunday, so that makes it about twenty years between starts!

Great story. Torbay’s a handsome guy.

Its amazing how big and handsome Prince has gotten. Wasn’t it only yesterday that he was born. Look at those ears, he seems to have grown into them. Its great to see the Queen!, she is always lovely and charming under all circumstances, I could not love her more. Glad her family were able to visit, seems everybody had so much fun!, and Prince such a camera huger, that was a really nice pose, even though I doubt he has a bad side to him.Thank you all for the lovely photo’s and I hope everyone that goes to the Breeders cup would have fun with the Queen. Its her party after all. Maybe Prince just might show up. That would be a treat. LOL to all and God Bless all. Our hearts go out to all those devastated by the storm, our Prayers are with them always.

It was great to have seen all of you over the weekend!!! First at the photo op at Z’s statue, then again last night at Claim Jumper. We are SO impressed with you guys from out of town. It takes a lot of time, effort and $$$ to put it all together and I give you all high hooves for making it happen. I heard some of you had some issues that came up, but it does sound like over-all everyone had a good time. Fortunately the weather co-operated–always a plus. (There is a possibility of rain this weekend, we are being told.) And, as I write this, a few of you are visiting Barn 55—wonderful!!! It really does one heart’s good to be a Dumpling. There was a well deserved toast to the QUEEN last night and then to JAG for getting us all together, even with all of the traffic issues. More later, just wanted to get this in before the day rolls on. My car is in the shop, and MAYBE it will be ready today. Rod’s car just got out of same shop earlier this week. Someone suggested one car is having sympathy pains for the other.
ANYWAY, I digress—here’s to a safe trip home for one and all, and once you get home hope all is well. I can’t stress enough how fantastic it was to see all of you in person! :-) ;-) :-) HIGH HOOF!!!!
P.S. The photos herein are wonderful!! Thanks again, LE
Anne
What a pleasant surprise to see photos of Z and baby Z. She looks radiant and when I saw that foot in the air… I couldn’t believe she still does her dance moves.
She will always have star quality in my eyes. I truly miss her on the racetrack as she brought so much joy to all of us.
Thanks to Lanes End for giving us another look at the Queen. I think it is so nice tha that they still travel to see her. How many other owners do that?
