Happy Friday!
We’re pleased to share photos of fans Jackie Camacho and Allison Folkman visiting Zenyatta at Lane’s End Farm. As the winners of NYRA’s Meet the Legendary Ladies sweepstakes, Jackie and Allison received a trip to Kentucky to meet both Rachel Alexandra and Zenyatta and a two-night stay at Stonestreet Farm.
Jackie became a fan of Zenyatta and watched many of her races with her sister who has since passed. She takes the little pig figurine pictured here on all of her adventures as a way to honor her sister.
The next opportunity to win an audience with Queen Z is just around the corner… Stay tuned for details about the upcoming 2016 Zenyatta.com Celebration.
Enjoy!

RIP Rough Quest and Moscow Flyer.
Glad you both had a happy retirement, RQ with your trainer and Moscow Flyer at the INS with Kicking King as your buddy and paddock mate.
MF,you looked fantastic in Aug and had your photo taken just a few days ago at sunrise, happy all your days were good to the end but wish you had a little longer. The photo of the little girl patting you is precious, you had many visitors who loved your kind sweet face and the way you would come up to them.
Remembering Aberfen and all those affected. RIP

Dear Sue

Dear BGG and Z Fans:
Blue, thank you so very much for sharing this.
I have been worried and waiting for news of COZ. Hope he is feeling as good as he looks. In my eyes he is the epitome of what the Classic Thoroughbred should be. He is the very best combination of his beautiful Mama Z and his gorgeous Papa Bernie. I hope we see him racing soon. Love and Hugs, JB

Just saw on the TVG Twitter feed that Katie Clawson (sp), a 19 year old apprentice jockey, just had her first win at Keeneland. She cites The Great Zenyatta as her inspiration. I remember when she wrote here in the Blog that she was going to become a jockey when she was older. How cool is that? And we were all here in the beginning…Congratulations, Katie!!
Sandy (Northeast Ohio)
Yes!! Saw her post-race interview on TVG – this is really great news! If you still check in here, Katie, we’re all very proud of you!

Big Congratulations to Katie Clawson on her win at Keeneland!!

Zi :-) its well that you tell workout in letters to Coz page where he stay from right to left and to your page where you stay in paddock with hay in mouth, Ziconic 3yo chestnut foal four furlongs in 50:20,,,,,Zi how you feel your health and legs on next morning after quick breeze ? , Zi there was van travel and very long layoff from course, not very carefully to come on course in extreme heat 34C , your bones and joints remembered five furlongs in del mar, compare cool rainy weather in lane’s end lil more up 0C and lil first wet snow in my countryside, when Beholder bled in workout she recovered health long long time and then came in training very very glidely and very very slowly by lil lil steps ,, ,, ,, ,,
andrej
Zi sleep in deep soft straw, slowly drink enough amount of clean not cold water when you are not hot, eat green light hay, for some chance in extreme heat eat some lower amount of oats some days after quick breeze, remember Shared Belief :-( :-( , walk on air with groom, have bath, eat apples pears, care of your health, say hello to Coz and Tug, from my hill of view dont come on course long time, wait cool rainy weather with soft or sloppy course, if all will be well with health and legs, in workouts dont make quick lil turns on full gallop speed, dont breeze near left fence, keep long free space in front of your nose, increase and decrease speed very glidely, care of your thin legs, say this info to Coz too on photo july10, 2016 his fetlock joints look thin too ,, ,, ,, ,,
andrej
Coz and Zi :-) :-) ,,,,, facebook only for quick news, work there attentively, horses keep their pages there, Coz and Zi keep your pages like Frosted :-) and Beholder :-) keep their pages ,, ,, ,, ,,
andrej
Coz :-) on photo octo21, 2016 you look well, your legs look well, coat shine, right side of neck healed and look well, reins not pulled well, Coz on dry hard course breeze lightly not long time, wait cool rainy weather with soft or sloppy course safe for legs of horses, you can lower than when you Zi and Tug were in belmont park, well video was in belmont when you breezed on gallop on your own speed on lil sloppy training course, Coz your fetlock joints look thin, take this in calculation in any quick breeze, Coz :-) you keep your tail like mom Zenny :-) , its well that green trees are around, clean air, in hot weather horses usually stay under trees and dont want to move quickly ,, ,, ,, ,,

October 22 Cherokee Devotional
When planting herbs from the garden of a friend, Sir Francis Bacon said, “A perfect garden with herbs, when trod upon, gives the very air a delightful fragrance.” Kneeling to plant herbs, digging in the soft warm earth with our hands, feeling the warm sun on our backs-what small things these are, and yet they are not small at all. Such small things, simple things are often very important to our physical, spiritual, and mental well-being. We have no idea how healing comes seeping in through those times, those moments when we let go to worry, focus on small tasks, and simply feel thankful.
The voice of the Great Spirit is heard in the twittering of the birds, the rippling of mighty waters, and the sweet breathing of the flowers.

Dear Kathy.Such a beautiful devotional. The best things in life are definitely free.A beautiful but chilly day here rain in Doncaster!Cheltenham is back woo-hoo!Winx was super earlier today. There is talk she may be persuaded to come over for the Queen Anne at RA and if Tepin were to visit again plus Minding in the equation a mouth watering clash.Moscow died from the dreaded colic I guessed it was sudden because he looked so well.Someone who visited the stud yesterday said all the living legends were in their stables. He will be greatly missed.
I spoke to Cheryl last night and she said how pleased the Doctor was.Lasix is known as furosemide(sp)over here Both my mum and dad took the tablets in later years.Felix is getting lots of visitors and treats today.Palmerston the FCO cat has raised£1000 for the Battersea dogs and cats home. There’s another cat I am worried about Henri Le chat noir hasn’t posted since mid September. Some cyber attack last night affected twitter.Nerissa’s ife was reporting about the attack on his FB.
I hope all is well with Judy I have missed her the last couple of days.Another winner for Tom Queally.Sebastian the parrot was enjoying his morning cuppa I have sent you a photo. He went shopping with mummy yesterday.Mother Theresa was all in red yesterday. The ratties were busy yesterday with their mail and they work as a team. That’s how you get things done.Frankel’ sfilly ran well again out in Japan,Did you hear about the silverback Kumboko who escaped from his enclosure and drank 5 litres of undiluted blackcurrant juice. He was tranquilised and David Attenborough said “Can you blame him he was fed up with peeps gawping at him”Someone has done a”Moosie”at Cheltenham grey horse didn’t catch the name.Have a lovely day.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Angel Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXOXO
Kathy
Dear Sheena,
Enjoy all the fabulous racing today. May they all stay safe and come back sound! Such a shame about Moscow. So glad the doctor is pleased with Ray’s progress. He has to have 6 chemo treatments, though. I’ll be so glad when he’s done with that! Good for Felix! And congratulations to Palmerston! I hope Henri is okay. Yes, I heard about the cyber attack at work yesterday. IT took our internet offline for a while because of it. I hope Judy is recovering, too. Pneumonia isn’t something to mess with! Congratulations, Tom! Yes, I saw the sweet pic of Sebastian enjoy his tea. So cute!!! Mother Theresa is quite the fashion plate. Loved the pic of the ratties doing their calendar mailing. That’s exciting news about Frankel’s filly. Hadn’t heard about the silverback. I’ll have to look for the story. A Moosie at Cheltenham. Too funny! You have a lovely day as well. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Angel Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy XOXO

Winx Decimates Cox Plate Field, Because Of Course She Does. Wow.
The most dominant big race win in Australian turf history.
Anthony Sharwood Huffington Post 22/10/2016
Winx just did the unthinkable. Never has there been such a dominant Cox Plate win. Never. Wow. Just wow and double wow and a thousand wows and some more wows after that.
The official margin was probably about a million lengths. That’s how easy it was. Actually it was eight lengths, which is the greatest margin in Cox Plate history.

If you want to walk on water you’re going to have to get out of the boat. The boat represents the place of security-so easy to cling to the idea of security even though the actual boat may be flimsy. What “boat” don’t you want to get out of-a familiar but dead-end job, a bad but steady relationship, the belief that you can’t do something?
We all have things (and sometimes people) the we cling to for security. Security in and of itself is not bad, but it can become destructive if it keeps us from becoming who we truly are, if it keeps us from listening to our spirits, if it keeps us in bad situations or relationships. Take a careful look at what gives you security-and then ask yourself, “Do I need to get out of this boat?” It takes some real faith to step out of the boat, but if you really need to do it, you can-with Spirit’s help.
I knew every stream and every wood. I have lived like my fathers before me, and like them, I have lived happily.

Dear Kathy.I had my security blanket as a child!Another sunny day here.I am glad you got to see Ray and Cheryl and to hear he looks good.I am disappointed they are only showing the Monet’s Garden old roan chase on the racing channels and not C4.I well remember Monet beating none other than Kauto 9yrs ago.Monet overcame a serious injury a few years ago and is still enjoying life at Nicky’s.He is 18 now.Smsd Place and Sire are in the race.Safe trip to all.Have a blessed Sabbath.Love and hugs to you.Kisses for Angel Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXOXO.

Aidan has entered Found for the BC but has’nt decided yet whether she will run.Personally I hope she stays at home. She has had a long season and she has already won one of the greatest turf races in the world the Arc!What is wrong with Coolmore??
Third Intention won the Roan chase for Colin Tizzard and Smad Place ran on well to get 4th,SDG was out of contention.
Max
Agree with you about Found. He’s got her in both the Classic and the Turf. Hard to believe that a turf filly can win on dirt with no experience on dirt. Her sire Galileo failed badly against Tiznow. Tiznow also took down the Arc winner in 2001. The turf at Santa Anita on the other hand is lightning fast this year, which is not her best bet.
Glad to see that Bobby Frankel is hanging on to his record.
sheena.davies(wales)
I just cannot understand why Aidan is thinking of running her in the Classic. She has nothing to prove. She should stay at home all that travelling again after a long season. They are not machines.I am very annoyed with him.I left you a message on previous page about my tribute to Kauto back in June.
Max
You said it. She won the Arc. That is more than enough for a horse to do. It’s a very long way from Ireland to LA for a filly who has worked as hard as she did this year. If he does persist with this plan, I hope that she does well. She’s a lovely filly.
Kauto like his name is a star always. I doubt that any horse will recapture his popularity any time soon.
Judy B from Rhode Island
Dear Sheena and Max:
Totally agree with both of you. Found has nothing to prove and deserves a little R & R. Love and Hugs, JB

Good health and a happy fall to all of you all on the Blog. Having hip replacement tomorrow and then off to rehab for several weeks away from my computer and I have a “dumb” phone. Enjoy the Breeders Cup races. My heart is with sweet Songbird and California Chrome. If Beholder or Stellar Wind beats the little bird, I am okay with that. Especially Beholder who is a great champion! Will be really upset if Arrogate takes it over Chrome. Blessings to all of you and I will be reading and talking in a few weeks.
Max
Good luck to you and get well soon.
