Alys, what a treat to find these precious pictures today! Zenny and her princess are beautiful and it’s great to know our Queen is back with her BFF, Life is Sweet.
I wonder why we can’t copy the photos to our personal files as we have in the past. I love to copy them to my personal files, for my own use. Can someone contact the website folks as to why we can’t copy them for our personal files. I mill being able to put them in my PC pictures as I’ve been able to do in the past. I’m really sad about it. Zenny & Princess look so well.
Could that little “girly girl” be more adorable, with that cute curly mane and long eyelashes?? She is just too precious for words!!! And-that photo of her with LIS’s colt-wow! It looks like he is saying,”hey,I’m kissing my girl friend–back off!” He is too cute and reminds me of Zi when he was little. How wonderful that the four of them are together–truly perfect!!
We got a good look at more of the obstacle course this past weekend. Sue led Traveller around it and I rode Barnaby.around in there to at least get another look at all the scary things. There were a couple of new ones added since last weekend. It should be a very interesting experiment!! Mostly,I just want folks to see Barnaby and see what a good boy he is–there will be people there who have not yet met him. I just LOVE showing him off to new friends. It’s funny how HE loves meeting new folks too. The past two Saturdays folks came that we did not know, when Sue and I were out riding in the big outdoor arena. Both times, when they got out of the car and started walking near the arena,Barnaby had to go over to the fence and hang his head over so that they could come up and pet him! Both times,I had to tell the people “he’s waiting for you to pet him”–he insists on being acknowledged! He truly IS such a character!!
It was wonderful reading all the lovely posts on Memorial Day ,honoring those who served, including the animal warriors. The service at our local cemetary was ,once again very lovely and moving. As I have for the past several years,I was honored to sing the National Anthem for it. The fly-over this year was from the War Birds Museum, in Nampa, and included two P-51s from WWII–love the sound of those great old engines! My dad was a block warden before he went into the Navy and we had those charts in the house for plane spotting–also,I had several model war planes, including the P-51,that I loved to play with in those days. It is amazing to think how many years have gone by–I can remember all of that as though it had been only a few years ago!!
Alys, once again you have outdone yourself with your fabulous pics!! Thanks to all who have made it possible for us to share these precious and delightful moments!!
Thank-You Alys for the new photos, they are wonderful and we so love seeing Z and foals enjoying friends, family, and life in general. It is so easy to see the total care and attention they receive at L.E. It just strengthens and regenerates them and it shows in the photos. Thank-You for all you do We very much appreciate your efforts.
Oh sweet Zenyatta I will show the children tomorrow. The children think Princess Z( and they like that name) looks like You. Princess Z is just so cute. Thank you for the wonderful pictures and letting us be part of your lives. We love all of you and when I had the real horse brought to the school (his name is King and he is 17 hands high) the children kept asking me if he was as big as You. So Zenyatta even though you were not really there the children kept mentioning your name and comparing King to you. King is a Draft Horse and as sweet as can be. He was so gentle with the children. I just wanted to let you know sweet Queen Zenyatta. We are sending you many Hugs and kisses, Mrs. Voltz and Homeroom 215 XXXOOO

Sue-Your very presence added to the ceremonies. I especially like the fly overs, including those which incorporate the missing man formation.
