Zenyatta.com has been quiet for a few months. We’d like to assure you that Zenyatta and her filly are in good health and explain our recent absence. Ann and Jerry Moss have made the difficult and private decision to divorce. Discussions about the future of this website have been ongoing, and it has been agreed that Ann will be the owner and operator of Zenyatta.com moving forward.
Ann is dedicated to keeping the community informed and connected to Zenyatta and her foals. You can expect bi-monthly blog posts as well as our annual charity event and its beloved grand prize, an invitation to meet Zenyatta. We are also working on an update to the overall design and user experience of the website, which will be launched later this year.
Thank you, to all fans, for your continued support of Zenyatta and for your patience as we move through this time of adjustment. We’ll kick things off with a much anticipated photo update in the coming days.

I just cannot get over how incredible that filly looks.. if they were going to breed her again, after seeing filly girl, I would have run back to M D’oro! Her conformation is perfect. I totally forgot how hold M’Doro is, I remember watching him race, but all that does is show me how old I am! lol. I’m glad Ann brought Mario and is that is wife? to see Zenny an baby, he has got to miss her. My fav. photo of her has him leading her back from a race. I’ll try to post it. XOXO friends.

ok, it wont let me post the photo, but its like Zenny is curling her head to “talk” to him right after a race, I’m sure some of you know which one I’m talking about. thanks :)

Don’t know why I googled your name, but happy to see you are well, and Zenetta, too.
Best wishes,

Breathtaking filly. So sorry to hear the Mosses are divorcing.
Though I have followed thoroughbred racing for 51 years, Zenyatta will be the beloved memory I take to my grave. I will be forever grateful for the generosity with which the Mosses have shared ” the view from the top of the world” with all. For me, she retired undefeated…blameless!
Stephanie
She sure is a pretty filly !

So sorry to hear about this split but I know Ann you are the true and pure advocate for the horses Pls keep us updated on Zenny and her foal – They look wonderful! Pls keep up your geat work!.

A perfectly lovely filly and Z is aging so gracefully. Z is all dappled out showing how fit and healthy she is as a result of the excellent care, feed, and attention she (and her filly) is/are blessed with. Sad news about the Moss split…may it be amicable, equitable, and expeditious.

I’m an 80 year old in love with Queen Zenyatta. I live alone and when I found you you have brought such joy to my life which was becoming worthless. How wonderful that rather than take a pill I can read all the wonderful comments and just make me smile. Thank you so much for something so sweet and lovely too make the clouds go away. I’d love too just give a big kiss on that muzzle.

Poetry in motion: Z and Mike Smith together. Both show spectacular character and courage. I don’t care about the win/loss ratio, Z is who I will remember to my grave. Pray God will let me visit with her when I get there!
Z is one classy racehorse!

I’m sure that this is a difficult time and my heart and empathy goes out to you. Thank you SO much for continuing to share Zenyatta ‘s life with us, that is so unbelievably generous of you. There is a peace that comes to me when I read updates and remember the beautiful and otherworldly times with her. Blessings to you during this transition, and her filly is breathtaking.

Just wishing Ann & Jerry the very best.

No more babies for her please. She needs time run and play like her foals. Love Zen dont want anything to happen to her.

After doing some careful research I have come to the conclusion that Zenyatta should be bred to a stallion most would not agree to because the stud fee is not high. I believe she should be bred to either Noble Mission or Revolutionary. Noble Mission is a full brother to Frankel. Revolutionary is a fantastic thoroughbred who made over one million dollars. I think when you breed you should do a lot of research I say this because before voicing my opinion I really looked at these horses and they fit with Zenyatta. Just an opinion, but going through history, you can see why I came to this conclusion.
Erica
No more breed for Zenyatta. Let her enjoy, run and be happy before to end her short life.
Thank you

Ann- I’m saddened to learn about your divorce, and miss working with you. I’m confident that you will continue your strong spirit, determination, and love for horses; especially Zenyatta and her foal. I personally miss working with you, and wish you my warmest wishes as you build your life in other directions. Would enjoy seeing you in the near future if you are up to meeting for lunch one day. Retirement has treated me well, but
I’m looking forward to new challenges. Best to you and your family……Please pass on my regards to your nephews and sister’s……..Fondly; Marc S……………

In Zenyatta’s final race the jocky Smith blocked Zenyatta’s run in the strech ( hitting with his whip 9 times on the left side and then 6 times on the right side of Zenyatta ). Jocky blocked the RUNNER.

You posted a picture dated June 9, 2017 with some sort of eye or head covering on Zenyatta. Could you share with me what this was for?
I’ve discovered this magnificent horse through YouTube in the past year and have fallen head over heals for her. Can’t read enough or watch enough, and now have discovered her very own website. Thank you so much. I’m 80 years old and live very far away from my grandson, but forward a lot of Zenyatta videos to him, as the next generation must never forget her.

Sorry to hear of your divorce, it’s never easy. I got your autograph at the Keeneland sale once, the men around you always got the attention and I just appreciate the classy way you always carried yourself. Good luck in your future where ever the Good Lrd takes you! God Bless!

Bravo to you, AnnMoss, for BEING THERE for ZENYATTA’s just past safe-sounding perfect foaling. I absolutely LOVE this recent brood -mare success story for her & you & all of us who loved/ love her. Always I’ll be wishing you life’s best ANN MOSS! Sincerely from YET ANOTHER FOREVER ZENYATTA lover/ fan, Barb McNagny. P S. Just out of interest please know that that so beautiful “pausing step” of hers is called “dwelling”. I years past learned of & loved it in a lovely Arabian showmare named GAZELLA.

Hopefully being a filly she will stand a better chance of retaining some of her mom’s legendary abilities unlike her male foals who pretty much did nothing. It always amazes me how the greatest horses rarely produce great offspring. It’s usually not the best that produce the best offspring. Look no further than Zenyatta whose parents were mediocre racing at best and she went on to take over horse racing during her time.
