Happy Friday!
Alys snapped these early morning pictures around Zenyatta’s paddock this week. As the weather warms up, we’re counting the days until summer is officially here. The horses at Lane’s End have been enjoying the balmy weather. Z Princess is growing up fast, and Ziconic will soon start his basic training and conditioning at Lane’s End.
For those of you awaiting a restock of our most popular item from the Zenyatta Shop — it’s here! Our new batch of Key Tags has arrived. Order yours here.

Was just wondering where Terry is: don’t suppose he’s on a secret mission to discover Tasty – and while he’s at that, sort out a home for Sir? Just hope he’s okay. Hugs KathyR

Someone said it is impossible to spit in the same water twice when it is a flowing stream. It is all water under the bridge-running on down to the sea, merging with other rivers flowing in the same direction. All rivers run to the sea. We cannot stop them any more than we can call back some incident to change it. It is water under the bridge, and has gone to join all the other experiences until their identities are forgotten. There is no use in chasing what is past. We can only love and care for what we have at hand. What is better than to enjoy the present time, the present company? To see this time equally important with the past is to regain some of what we thought we had lost.
Although ice and snow may lie deep upon my wigwam, I should find a warm fire within.

@Sally B.–My heart hurts for you and Sir. Horses, like other animals, are at our mercy for good or bad. Prayers for you both. I can imagine how gut-wrenching this has been for you. Our Money is happy now, but a few years ago, he was at a bad place, and we thought we had nowhere to move him. Happily, that is no longer the case.

You give me hope Barbara. Judy B too with Charlies story.

Dear Kathy. It’s getting thundery in Wales today think the chicks will get their first taste of rain.So glad to see Joey home and improving, they think it might be kidney trouble now,it seems males who are neutered at a young age get problems with the “waterworks” He must have been happy to get a visit from Tom and a get well gift from Molly.Such a cute video on Zoe of the little kitten and Zoe in her little pink boots!!No signs of Dolly the last couple of days.I’m still voting for Fubu such a sweet blind kitten won this week called Quirky.Loved Ray and his Daddy having a hug before work.Marty so loves his yogis. Some great tennis at Wimbledon this week,Nadal is in the middle of a tough match at the moment!Have a great day.Hugs for you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.Sheena.
Kathy
Dear Sheena,
Good luck to the dogs and cats in the thunder. We don’t get it often here, but when we do the dogs just lose it. They think someone is shooting at them! Hope the chicks like the rain. I’m thrilled that Joey is back home. I hope they get to the bottom of the problem and can help him. You can tell in the video that Tom is crazy about Joey. Very touching! The kitten video on Zoe was precious. And she certainly looked adorable in her little pink boots. Such a sweetheart! I hope Dolly and her family are okay. I’m voting for Fubu, also Gizmo and Chip the Maltese Farm Dog. Will look for little Quirky. Yes, the pic of Ray and his Daddy was wonderful. So much love! Marty is good as long as the yogis hold out! Enjoy Wimbledon! Have a good day. Hugs from me, kisses from Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy.

Must say that our princess has the look of a real athlete. Muscular with lots of “junk in her trunk.”

Saw something today that gave me a name idea for the Princess, being a name traditionalist, I like this as it incorporates the sire by using the opposite of war, and peace is zen like. Not that I’m expecting anyone to consider this name, but who can help themselves when it comes to naming foals, not me!

Hi!
No videos yet of Zenyatta and her baby girl?
Why is that?
It would be fun to watch them.
The baby girl is beautiful.
Thank you!
