Ann and Jerry went to Kentucky to visit Zenyatta, 13Z and Cozmic One last week. Ann sent us a few clips from their time on the farm.

      I have to agree with you. He is a very good looking colt. All that ackwardness is long gone and he looks ready to begin his training.

    What a wonderful collection of videos! Everyone seems so healthy, happy AND enjoying life! Zenyatta certainly does exemplify happy motherhood. That was a wonderful tribute to her in the Keenland Magazine. 13Z is another charmer. It is VERY interesting to see his development. The whole time, birth to now, he has maintained great proportion which is different from the super and gawky growth pattern of Cozmic One. And Coz!!! he is spectacular and keeping us guessing about his continuing development. It will be fun to see the timing of when they both have their first race and then truly begin their racing career.
    It is a delight to see this whole family of Zen’s developing her open and friendly personality! We are also fortunate to see a BIT of how genes affect breeding and Zenny show HOW STRONG an influence a dam has on ANY breeding!
    Thank you, THANK YOU to all the connections. You are doing a wonderful job and I appreciate it ALL!

    Oh, what an absolute treat to come home and see these new videos of our Queen and her guys. Coz is more handsome every time we see him and Zenny, there are no words. She is still the most magnificient creature in the world. It looks like 13Z enjoyed his snack…what an awesome mother she is. Ann, thank you for these priceless peeks into the lives of Zeny and her colts.

    Ann, it may be pouring outside but these videos brought a huge smile to my face. Zenny is the best pick me up ever and those colts of hers…priceless. Coz is such a stunner. I hope we can continue following him as he goes through his training after leaving LE.

    This is a FABULOUS post! I mean, everything about Zenny is fabulous but I just love having the videos of everyone. Thank you so much for sharing your visits to LE with fans like me.

    I’m blown away by Coz. HE’S SO GROWN UP!!!!~ And he’s just a magnificent-looking individual although in the last video I saw the same expression on his face that he had as a foal. WOW!

    And he really still looks so much like Zenny that it’s really quite amazing. One colt a look-alike and Little Red sharing her birthday…..yup. Zenny has really stamped these two!

    Thanks so much for these videos! Z looks fabulous horsing around along the fence. The little guy is growing so fast, and greying very quickly. I love the name Zapit for him. Coz looks wonderfully tall in the first picture with Ann, very grown up, and just beautiful coming out of the barn. I’d say he has his daddy’s good looks, and his mother’s wonderful personality, though he does look a lot like her, too. It’s great to see Zenyatta looking so happy and lively. Motherhood certainly suits her, and now we can start guessing about Z14.

    Ann & Jerry and the Lanes End Team Z thank you immensely for these wonderful videos!! What a treat. Thrilled to see Z having fun and getting a glimpse of her movement!! I love Z so much and absolutely go crazy over that first pic of her head shot. Coz has grown and is so handsome, 13z is a cutie and growing too; I knew they would be perfect having a Mama like Z. If I could only spend an hour with them!!
    I’ll clean the stalls, feed and groom them anytime someone needs a vacation!!!

    Yaw’l are so nice to allow us to follow their lives so closely. We are totally loving this! Please allow us to see his training under saddle as a diary as well and how he does all the way up into his races. Never before would there be anything like it! :) Thank you!!

    My family has been in show & field in purebred dogs for over 50 years. Conformation matters for performance that “tests.” Silhouettes for conformation are important as each breed and many lines within those breeds have similar yet distinct silhouettes. It appears to me that Bernardini successfully “fancies” up Zenyatta’s rangy profile to a silhouette built to go faster, perhaps more efficiently than sire or dam. Time will tell this Cozmic story. The ears (directional finders to the brain) of course are all Zenyatta. Here is hoping that all of Zenyatta’s foals are blessed as she is from nose to tail.

    My gosh, I feel like I got treats too…….only in the form of videos. Beautiful Zenny looks just glowing in the video, so happy to see her parents……and treats! You’ll always be my number 1 big girl.

    The red head is just adorable and what a nice body he’s got. He has grown so fast soon he’ll be on his own.

    But CoZ takes my breath away. He is stunning and his looks and expression is so much like Zen’s it’s uncanny. He’s even got her polka dots on his front foot! Wow, I can stop looking at the top pic of him………lovely.

    Thank you Ann and Jerry for sharing Zen and family and LE staff for all you do and the team who takes care of this site. You guys are the greatest.

    Coz is just well, HUGE!! Love his hair do especially the forelock. I see he’s already in early training, getting used to the bit. He’s spectacular! Zapit, he’s growing like a weed and, well, what can you say about the Queen? She’s always so happy when her Mom and Dad visit. It’s all about love, kindness and respect. Thank you Ann for sharing these video clips.

    Any chance the fans will ever get to visit her?
    I go to Lane’s End every year to see the stallions-I was told
    not to ask to see Zenyatta-only the greatest horse of the last
    20 years.

    Haven’t watched all of these yet, wanted to see updates on Coz first. What a handsome young man. He’ll be leaving LE in a few months, so we might not have as much opportunity to see him. Thanks, Ann. All of the Queen’s subjects are happy that you are the Queen mum.

    Love those videos! I had to smile at the last one (but in a nice way) upon seeing Cozmic One. He certainly has his momma’s ears! He’ll grow into them though! LOL! Love the Zenyatta family!

    Thanks for the new videos, you have made my day. Zenny looks wonderful and so does her boys. Coz is really grown up, looks like he is about ready to start training. 13Z/The Little Prince is going to be something else, he get’s better looking everyday.     The queen looks regal, as always. 13Z is such a handsome young man. I don’t think he’ll be liver chestnut, as some have suggested, but a deep rich dark chestnut. No matter the color, he is awesome!

    Oh, Ann, bless you for these videos. I was craving an update on our lovely Queen. It is so precious how she ran your voice. And walking to the barn, she’s as graceful as ever. Coz is big and beautiful and looks like a winner already. When he races, it will be like watching Zenyatta. Lil red, omg how cute.

    My family visited this week from out-of state and I had to introduce them to the Queen of Racing through stories, pics, and youtube. I am begging them to move BACK to Kentucky. The now know what “un-BE-lievable” means.
