Ann and Jerry went to Kentucky to visit Zenyatta, 13Z and Cozmic One last week. Ann sent us a few clips from their time on the farm.

    Thank you for the wonderful photos/video of Zenyatta, Cosmic One, and 13Zenyatta! Fabulous! Very excited what the future holds for these youngsters!

    Watching the workouts of Eblouissante-love John’s style of training! He always does the right thing by the horse.

    Have a wonderful July 4th celebration remembering those who fought and those who continue to fight for our freedom.

      Sheena. Thanks for this information and the good wishes. I do love Weird Al. Glad to see that Al has retired healthy. He’s a good looking horse, who has some quirks. He will probably have a nice second career. Hope Declaration does well in his next race. Next uncoming holiday for cakes is Bastille Day. I have always admired Napoleon’s horse.

    Thank you LE and Ann for the videos. Once again, it shows how well Z and her offspring are being cared for. They all look happy and well balanced, no doubt that is because they are with professional caretakers who love her as much as her owners. And lastly, Z looks beautiful!!! For going into her third consecutive pregnancy her body still looks solid.

    omg these is perfect, you should do this more often we get to see the three at the same time. I cant believe how big coz is ,are we going to see him in training?. I have to to say , your really making history here, we are all so emotionally involved in zee’s family ,that I really hope you never decide to race them at the same time cause is not the same seeing different races at the same time.

    @Sandy-That artist you were interested in is Jim Curry, who does a John Denver tribute show. When you go to see him, just close your eyes and you’ll swear you are listening to Denver himself. He does somewhat resemble John, but the voice is uncanny in its sound. Try to see him if he comes to your area or check him out on You Tube. You won’t be disappointed.

    Happy 4th of July to all of my Zenyatta friends. Zenyatta and her son Coze look much alike and he is big and Beautiful. Coze looks to be much more behaved now. I just love that close-up of him with his Mom’s alike ears. Zenny has two very beautiful son’s and I believe they will do Great when their time comes to enter the racing business. I’m sending you much love Zenyatta and you are looking beautiful eating your carrots as usual. You are so amazing how you always manage to be Beautiful no matter what stage of time you are in. Thinking of you always and so glad that you are very happy.Thank you Ann and Jerry and the Lane’s End Z team for keeping such good care of Zen and her two beautiful Son’s, we love you all.

    hi all
    hope all are having a safe and happy 4th
    I spent the day at the hospital with the hubby…now in for the 3rd time in 2 months
    we have got to work something better out…so he can be at home…
    …..
    can not wait to se Lava Man lead the parade…which he will assume is all for him…and that is as it should be
    ….
    has anyone heard a word about On Fire Baby….I cant find a thing after she got sent to the hosp for a fever???

    I am going to take some of the advice I usually give to Zenny……rest….spa tx…and sleep

    Queen’s Plate day is Sunday and we will be there again. I’m hoping for good results for the two Sam-Son Farm horses, Up With The Birds and His Race To Win. We don’t have the best weather forecast for race day, hot and humid so hopefully everyone, both human and equine, will come home safely. I was lucky enough to see Sam-Son’s filly Dance Smartly win the Plate several years ago so it would be great to see the farm do it again.
    Not sure who Vic will be supporting, her favorite Canadian trainer, Roger Attfield, does not have an entry in the Plate this year. Vic is very busy looking after 14 horses and ponies and riding Seven who has been remeasured, he’s a whopper at 18.1 hands, a very big boy for a TB, but an absolute sweety.

    Jeanie,

    CoZ is wearing a halter with a bit attached; he is learning to accept a bit;
    bridle has reins. The bit is attached to halter with leather and some chains.

    He is learning his lessons as Zenny would say.

    Thank you Ann for the great movies of Zenny, 13Z and Coz! It won’t be too long and we will be seeing Coz as a race horse! Can’t wait!!
