We thought we’d share this video of Baby Z relaxing in the paddock with Mom and friends. 12Z and his buddies certainly enjoy growing up in their beautiful home.

      THAT IS SO TRUE; CAN’T GET THOSE PESKY FLYS, TOOOOO SHORT, BUT THEY TRY.

    He’s still got some red fuzz around his middle, but the front and back end sure are his Momma’s dark bay color.

    Thank you so much for sharing the wonderful new video of Z12 and his paddock mate and of course, his beautiful mum! We look forward to seeing new pictures and videos and updates and it always just makes my day!!     Thank you, thank you all LE staff for this picture and video of EARnie. He and mama look fabulous, and so good to see he is with his little friend. What a beautie he is going to be, would love to hear the Mosses comments on how their baby is turning out.

    Thank you for the progress report and the pictures. He’s growing up so quickly. What a lovely scene, Zenny wearing her fly mask and more mares and foals in the background. It’s easy to understand why Queen Elizabeth stays at Lane’s End with Mr, and Mrs. Farish when she visits Kentucky, it looks like heaven.

    Hi Queen Zen and Prince Z!

    Precious! Look at all of you grazing in the grass-grass-grass! You’d have to be MY generation to know what song I’m referring to :o)

      auntie judy – well ,as the friends of distinction said, “i can dig it…so real, so real, so real…” gosh, i hate that i knew what song you meant! old, i tell you, i am older than dirt…! actually, aside from the physical changes (which i dislike intensely), i am at peace with this age thing…sometimes i am even proud of it! it made me smile to see that you are in this era also. : )

    Thanks so much to Lane’s End and Team Z for an absolutely gorgeous picture (horses and surroundings) and the video. At the risk of getting laughed off the blog (hey, somebody has to ask these questions), is Baby Z the one in front of Z (i.e., on the left of the picture?). Is there something I’m missing in the way of distinguishing characteristics that gives away the answer? SM12 doesn’t look all that different, and you can see in the video that he also has a small white mark on his head.

      SM 12 HAD A REDDER COAT AND IS TALLER AS HE IS OLDER; HE IS THE ONE STANDING NEAR THE FENCE; 12 ZENYATTA IS THE ONE WALKING AROUND.

        • His coat is a little redder in the photo too and you can see that
          big patch of hair loss on 12 Z that the other foal does not have.

    LE and the Mosses…you are wonderful to continue sharing photos and video of Zenny and little Z. He surely is growing into those ears…we love how he often stands just like his famous mom with a leg extended.

    Life is good on the farm…it’s wonderful these amazing creatures can really enjoy it.

    @Andrea–oh no!!! I am so sorry. We have had a real wave here of losses and tough times. Seems like we are all going through something. Thank you so much for letting us know. RIP dear Blanchie and peppermint kisses for her precious little one. At least you have her to hold on to. Hugs.
