PS I keep forgetting to give our latest update on ‘ baby roadrunner’. We were hiking up the mountain this week. All of a sudden about half-way up the trail to the top, here he comes running up beside us. But I guess he’s not a ‘baby’ anymore, because following just behind him was a female rr. They hiked with us for a little bit, then went off in another direction. I truly believe he was coming by to ‘introduce’ his new mate to us. We hadn’t seen him in 3 or 4 days, and were so happy for him. Now we’re looking forward to his baby rr’s! What fun! Hope you and everyone here in Zenatta Land have a wonderful weekend. with love, Elizabeth

Dear Marshall, Just wanted to say hey, and what do you think about those Falcons. I hope they win on Sunday. I’m not a huge football fan but I will be checking in back and forth. I always look more for the Clydesdales commercials. I hope they have a new one.
Go Falcons
Peggy (N) South Georgia
Dear Judy, Julian has been riding so well at Gulfstream, I am so worried about him and Classic Empire. But, I have to be optimistic don’t I. And I am. Can I remember. A runner up can get points also I think. Gunn I believe is maturing and he does look so good. Hoping for a win.

To stand alone does not mean there is no one else around. It means we are u na tse li dv-u na to tiv hi…we think for ourselves in an independent way, using our heads rather than our feet. We fit life to us instead of letting it press us into a mold that would not make us happy. Letting the world dictate to us is being one of the herd that runs-not because it is the right thing to do, but because we think everyone else is doing it, and so must we. Is it the right direction? Refusing to be swept along with every trend is cultivating our inner awareness of right and wrong. Awareness is there within us, but we have to hear it and heed it. This is why we were given intelligence-to stand alone so that we may have something to offer when someone else needs us.
Too many misinterpretations have been made…too many misunderstandings…

Dear Kathy.I am one of the silent majority in this country.Heavy ground at Sandown Oliver was there and Rayvin Black came 2nd.The Champion hurdle is a muddle this year with Annie Power out and no idea if Faugheen will run.Top Notch is storming up the Sandown Hill tough little horse.Nico de Boinville is back riding too.
Colder here today and more sunny after a wet week.I sent you a video of our Welsh Countryside(Rupert tagged me)some of the Welsh place names such as Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwlllantysiliogogogoch!!I cannot even pronounce myself.Lovely photos of Valegro and his daddy in the Netherlands.I watched his farewell video last night and yes I cried again!Mouse has been spayed and is recovering.Dr Jill said she would never breed from her too tiny.
It was good to see that Hovis is recovering from his man flu.Herman was packing his bags to escape the country if something had happened to the big man.
Yes,I read Fibbs post.Zoe is certainly going to be busy today.Mother Theresa had a good trip to Malta yesterday.I donated to the donkey appeal they raised nearly 20,000 very slow with Brutus where are his 12,000 friends?Hillside have rescued 22 pigs another sanctuary couldn’t take them. They will have a grand life there.Viktoris off to Germany today with Missy the cat taking her to her home.He remembers the Saturdays when he would sleep in.Impossible now.Have a great day..Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Angel Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO
Kathy
Hi Sheena,
Wow…that Welsh place name is incredible! So glad Hovis is better. Was very worried about little Mouse. She is so tiny…you hate for her to have to undergo surgery. I hope Zoe doesn’t get too tired today. It will be a workout! Glad Mother Theresa’s trip went well. You are to be commended for donating to the donkeys. There are many good people in the world who try to do what is best for animals. Have a great day. Hugs, Kathy

Yes yes yes! A Moss horse on the Derby trail makes me super happy. Shaping up to be a very exciting Ky Derby, but then again they always are.

There are 2 Moss horses on the trail. Gormley is also a contender.

Oh my gosh, is he handsome or what! Congrats, R Mo. Wow. He looks great!

Royal Mo is a big one like his sire. Uncle Mo grew to be over 17 hands after he retired to Ashford. Jerry Moss says that his Mo is still growing. Another beast. This Mo doesn’t back off. Great to see the Moss colors win again.
Ann NC
Very nice seeing those colors. Oh boy, Mo looks solid and still growing, yikes!
Hope he stays healthy and sound. It was a treat watching him and the others on the east in their races.
Congrats to Uncle Mo.

Irish War Cry Scores the Upset in Holy Bull
By Alicia Wincze Hughes The Blood-Horse February 4, 2017
Nearly ten years to the day that his sire signaled his brilliance over the Gulfstream Park track,Irish War Cry signaled that he could follow in his father’s (Curlin) footsteps as a force
on the Triple Crown trail.
The first seismic shift among the 3-year-old male class for 2017 hit Feb. 4 when Isabelle de Tomaso’s homebred Irish War Cry took down reigning juvenile champion Classic Empireand five others in front-running fashion to win the $350,000 Lambholm South Holy Bull Stakes (G2).

February 5 Cherokee Devotional
If we could look ahead, we would be comforted to know that what we have worked for and what we have given our hearts to will reward us. We cannot give and give and not receive, especially if we have given willingly and cheerfully. Our lives are many-faceted. We have shared in many ways and many times when it seemed unimportant. We gave without thought that it would do anything but help-and these are the gifts that will not go unrewarded. Giving is so often thought of in terms of the things we give, but our greatest giving is of our time, and kindness, and even comfort for those who need it. We look on these gifts as unimportant-until we need them. Then, the most wonderful gift is simple courage.
I felt that I was leaving all that I had, but I did not cry.

.Dear Kathy.Such a beautiful devotional today.i was always taught it is better to give rather than receive but we live in a more selfish society these days.
Douvan is on at 3pm should be a stroll in the park for him.We lost Rocklim at Musselborough yesterday tried to carry on with his injury reminded of Barbaro and Ruffian.Very upsetting.
The ratties are well prepared for the super bowl I may take a look at it I like the entertainment. We have the rugby today.I have tried to look for a video of Valegro but only a photo so far.i didn’t know it was Ray’s birthday last week so I put in a belated message. When does his radiation start? There are new cameras at the Dyfi.We will see parts of Monty we never knew existed even his right leg!!!Michael reached the Grand Canyon on Friday. This week it’s Minnesota to Memphis.I thought Steve was a CA guy I really loved Colorado Springs.Zoe certainly had a busy day yesterday I was even able to wish her a goodnight! Not much news from Fubu again until she needs something.David Beckham had the nerve to insult our Katharine Jenkins too.Has he never heard Victoria “sing”?Hope you have a blessed Sabbath.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Angel Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXOXO
