Oh dear Queen Zenyatta and Mrs. Moss, you two have lost none of your beauty and glamour over these years. I’ve not posted lately, but I “lurk” and look at the blog photos whenever they pop up. However, as the birth of new equine royalty fast approaches, I am obligated by my Z Dumpling oath to post my joy at seeing such beautiful photos and note my anticipation of the new baby. I’m ready for my foal watch shift.
I was hoping for another Easter baby but will keep anxiously awaiting the new babyZ’s arrival. Love and kisses to you, sweet Zenny. Glad your Ann is there to love on you.

Nothing counts for nothing. We have to plant the seed to see the flower. It is necessary to prime the pump with some of whatever it is that we need. If it is happiness, then make someone else happy. If we are lonely, reach out to the one who needs companionship. If we have a material need, we need to do the best we can to help someone else.
George Eliot once wrote that one must be poor to know the luxury of giving. But one isn’t poor who gives with his heart and makes something count for something.
My background as a Standardbred horse owner gives me a deep appreciation for who Zenyatta is and what great owners she has. My Lady Gruenever was much the horse that Zenyatta is so I can just imagine the endless joy Zenyatta has brought you in her lifetime. Having delivered several foals, the anticipation for me is intense. I wish for Zenyatta a problem free delivery and a healthy foal (hoping for a philly.)
Thank you once again, Team Z, for sharing these great photos of Zenyatta with all of us who love her also. She looks so content and healthy and it is always great to see the love between Zenyatta and Ann Moss – they both seem to glow together. I will continue to wish for a simple, easy uncomplicated foaling with a happy, healthy foal and a happy, healthy Zenny. Thanks!
Thanks to all of Team Z for the pictures. She does look so much more content now that Ann is with her. Hope they did not have bad weather yesterday at the farm. Here in Indy we had wind, rain and hail! Will keep checking the blog for the happy event.
Oh, dearest Zenny,
What I would give for a Zenny cam, so I could check on you off and on 24/7! Prayers for you, sweet Mama, for an easy foaling and a vibrant, healthy baby. Love you always.
Dear Kathy. We must always give from our hearts.I heard about a young man who raised a lot for charity by carrying out random acts of kindness for a year.We survived storm Katie last night a wind speed of 106mph was recorded on the Isle of Wight.Julie was working last night and there were huge snowflakes in Llangain and Llanybydder.Everything is calm now and sunny but Plumpton is off and my Nobby was supposed to be running today. He lives to fight another day.I hope Hovis had a duvet last night. He’s too big to have been blown away.No signs of Mrs Delyth yet Blue has settled quite well with Dai Dots oh there will be fireworks!I hope to God Monty and Glesni weren’t caught up in the floods that caused Beatrice to perish She was an experienced traveller.
I don’t think we need our socks today on a holiday. One of Zoe’s friends is going to have an operation and needs our prayers.Gosh,James and Bob have nearly 434,000 followers now and the film will be premiered soon.Felix is doing well too peeps come to the station just to see her and bring treats.Mango and Abby were preparing for the Easter bunny yesterday and dug a hole!Judy wasn’t pleased.I am hoping my emails will return tomorrow but knowing the PO I am none too sure!Ray was showering his dad with kisses last week and we got a photo of Boo’s human when she was pregnant.I just cannot understand Fubu or his family.I haven’t been on Dolly yet but she seemed a little better when I last visited.33(11) has returned to his mate Maya at Manton Bay.Hope you continue to have a lovely Easter.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO
Oh my gosh, such horrible weather you’re having across the pond! Stay safe! Yes, you have to be concerned for all the creatures caught in the storms. Was very sorry to read about poor Beatrice. Surely Hovis was brought into the barn. You’re lucky to have a holiday today. Over here we will be turtling! Yes, read about Zoe’s friend. Congratulations to James and Bob. So many followers! Glad to hear Felix is doing well. Mango and Abby preparing for the Easter Bunny, too funny! Filling in the hole will give Judy something to do! Yes, fingers crossed your e-mails return. Ray’s relationship with his dad is just so endearing. The pic of the Blonde Misfits with their mom was cute. Looks as if Mom didn’t have much swelling in her legs from the looks of it. Baby bump and that was about all. She was lucky! Kimberly posted finally. Go check it out. Her RA has been bad. Yes, Dolly was a little better last time I checked. Safe trips for all the ospreys. Have a great holiday. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy XOXO
Finding LOVEliness in Every Day
by Gini @ DaySpring
It’s easy to keep our heads down, go about our days, completing the tasks in front of us while never seeing the amazing beauty that surrounds us. We drive around – picking up our kids from school, dropping them off at their various after-school activities, stopping for gas, pulling through the ATM, grabbing something quick to eat at the drive-through window, and all the while, we are missing the magnificent, radiant God-given colors of the sunset happening right outside the passenger-side window.
This year, let’s train ourselves to look for the sunset, to take the time to delight in that one lone flower standing strong, completely undisturbed by the sub-zero degree weather. Because, “God is love” (1 John 4:8 NIV). So, by filling our hearts with love for all that surrounds us, we are filling our hearts with God. And, let’s face it, there is nothing that can help us through our everyday lives more than His peaceful presence.
A fantastic start for Bobby’s Kitten at Cork today.Swapping the palm trees and heat of Santa Anita for a cold blustery day in Ireland he won in heavy ground in great style under Pat Smullen.Who thinks US racehorses don’t care for Europe?? Sheena
I am a 65 yr. old woman who has been in love with Zenyatta since day 1. I pray 4 a safe & relatively easy delivery 4 her & her wonderful foal. I respect u & your husband so much Mrs. Moss. You love & devotion 2 Zenyatta is something everyone should have. God bless u & team Z. Thank u 4 letting us be a part of Zenyatta’s life. I hope to travel to Kentucky late spring early summer on the chance I might get to see her.
It’s too bad Mommy Ann and Daddy Jerry don’t love their girl. A LOT! I have a sneaking suspicion that Zenny will yet again be giving herself another BIG birthday present on April 1st. After all Our Queen has a sense of the occasion! What better way to celebrate her 12th birthday?
Dear Judy,
Love this photo of the Moss’s and Zenny! Thank you so much for posting. I think it’s my favorite – of course new Baby Z is in the pic too – just ‘hiding’ until his (or her) grand
entrance. Hope this is ‘the’ day! with love, Elizabeth
