Zenyatta know how you love your fellow horses. Just heard Arrogate and Hoppertunity just turned into Santa Anita. Arrogate just said to Hoppertunity “I’m ready to get off this Van.” Need some rest. Neigh said Hopportunity, I bet Gun Runner and Bisquits are already resting.

My bet is that Gun Runner and Biscuits are plotting their next moves. Gun Runner is headed to Churchill Downs to train after some down time. Owner says that the target is BCC. Maybe back to Dubai next year.

Besides another round of Birthday Wishes for our two Z’s, for Z’sters everywhere who are eagerly and anxiously awaiting a new addition to the royal family, how about this. We already have four horseshoes, how about every time you get a chance rub one that you may have. Besides which if you don’t have one, now would be a good time to get a four leaf clover plant and besides that, how about a rabbit’s foot to rub. From what I’ve read, it appears as though we have in the neighborhood of 6 weeks to go. Remember back to Zenyatta’s racing days and think of this as the part where she’s a bit behind, checking the field and planning her move. A month from now, she could be said to be closing in on the “down the stretch they come” part and not too much later our prince/princess will be here SAFELY! The same technique could be used for Ziconic too. Here’s hoping we get to see him run again soon. Who knows?
I’ve even seen Cosmic One’s name a time or two on the work tab. Perhaps we might see him on the track this year. Finally, you don’t hear about him too often, but Oregon, another horse owned by the Moss’s runs tomorrow. Oops, I almost forgot another Oregon is playing today in the Final Four of the NCAA Basketball Championships, the first time since 1939. GO DUCKS!!

Sad news the legend that was the Tatling has been put to sleep aged 20yrs.In his long career he had 36 different jockeys and he won his final race at Wolverhampton aged 14yrs.He had a very happy retirement but sadly had gone blind now.RIP old boy.You were loved.X
Arrogate’s next race will be the Pacific Classic and he is to stay in Santa Anita rather than go to the Prince’s farm.
