Today is Cozmic One’s fourth birthday and the whole team is sending birthday wishes. John says, “We’ll have some cake and celebrate, but don’t expect to get the day off! I’ll get Michelle to give you a special equissage.”

    Dear Kathy.I haven’t had a minute this morning!Phew.A very stormy wet night but actually promises some spring weather over the weekend.Excited about Annie running in the CH hope the 2 miles won’t be too sharp for her.She has fancy headgear now.Judy and Nay both have heavy colds and are on their way home plus Mattie had to see the emergency dogster she was suffering from stress colitis.Not a good idea to take such a little dog on a road trip.The ratties were enjoying their pamcakes.I was watching some of the results last night.Trump is still doing very well!!!
    When you think Viktor cannot come up with anything worse there was a story of a poor dog used as bait for dogfighting last night.I didn’t share the video on my timeline but try and take a look on his page.He had a gaping wound on his neck but hopefully is ready for surgery now.I do often wonder if humans can get more cruel and I think yes they can!The sadness you see on these animals faces breaks your heart.Have a good day.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO

    Fingers crossed that Annie will have no problems in the CH. Poor Judy, Nay and Mattie. Traveling is hard! Loved the pics of the ratties and their pamcakes! I think there are lots of people who don’t eat as well as they do! The Trump phenomenon continues. Amazing! What a horrible story from Viktor. I will look for it. To tell you the truth, I’m glad I’m as old as I am! This world just keeps sinking lower and lower. I feel bad for young people. What will things be like when they reach my age?!!     Remembering the great John Henry on his 41st birthday.I have just been reading a wonderful article by the girl who cared for him in his last years and was by his side when he died.This ill tempered horse with attitude or an evil man in a horse suit as once described became her closest friend in the end and 8and1/2 years since his death she misses him every single day.Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I am sure you’re still kicking up a storm in Heaven John.Hugs Sheena

      Saw John at the Ky Horse Park or rather saw his hind end. He refused to turn around and face us. He and Big D are sharing stories of the people they scared up there over the rainbow bridge.

      Hello to the Kennedys!
      So nice to see a post from you folks!! I hope all is well with you! It is hard to believe 4 years has past. I can remember thinking after Coz was born that we would have to wait 3 more years before seeing him on the track. The years fly by.

      Looking forward to coming out to the BC in November.

    Just read in Bloodhorse that Zenyatta along with Rachel Alexandra are among official nominees for Hall of Fame. No question, Zenny and Rachel will be voted in their first time eligible. Seems written in the stars they’ll go in the HOF together.

      Hope they go in together. What a thrill they each brought to racing. So glad they are both healthy and living their lives with people who adore and worship them. And each have their special moms. Ann and Barbara.

    Craig Perret; Thoroughbreds English Channel , Kona Gold, Rachel Alexandra, and Zenyatta; and trainers Steve Asmussen and David Whiteley. Dominguez, English Channel, Rachel Alexandra, and Zenyatta are first-time finalists.

    Hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy the cake. We are so proud of you and how gorgeous you are, the first born of our Queen. Still think someone should read you the story of John Henry. I believe your John was one of the few to get to ride him. I read his story and he was a pretty difficult customer but a real champ.

    I remember four years ago March 8th. For a few days I had been pacing and pacing while being out of town in Florida. My dear friend called me each day to keep me informed about Zenyatta and the upcoming birth of her first foal. I also went to the library, which was close by to keep in touch as well. I was so restless just praying for safety and health of Z and her new born foal. AND at last, the cell rang and the words rang in my ears, “Zenyatta had a colt!” From that time on I ran to the library frequently but all of us loved Z and the wonderful news, I could not get on the blog!! I think I finally got on a couple days later.
    Coz will always be that very special FIRST FOAL of Zenyatta’s. Coz looked like her too. Oh what fond memories. We all have been blessed.
