On Friday, August 12, Zenyatta was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Team Z attended the ceremony at the Fasig-Tipton sales pavilion, and owners Jerry and Ann Moss accepted the award on Zenyatta’s behalf.
We toured the museum and met a number of fans who were in town for the festivities. Fans watched the ceremony live from our “Belles of the Hall” viewing party that was complete with mini horse versions of Zenyatta and Rachel Alexandra. View the “Belles of the Hall” recap here.

It was really fun watching the video presentation again. Missed seeing John’s tender reactions as Ann spoke so sweetly of our big girl who continues to return the affection shown to her to this day as Jerry expressed. No one is taking my girl’s barn except me John firmly states! As always Team Z, hugs to you.

Such a beautiful ceremony. I was able to watch online. It was so heart warming to view John tearing up. Love the little minis resemblance! They are adorable!

Team Z,
Thank you so much for posting all these wonderful photos and the videos of the ceremony. I watched most of the videos and enjoyed them immensely. My browser (Safari) apparently experienced an error twice while I was watching the video with Mr. and Mrs. Moss starting their speech. It would not allow the video to restart at the point where it stopped but needed to start at the beginning. I will try to view this most important part of the video in the morning since I am way past a normal bedtime!
The is the very best gift we could receive!
Hugs and Love to the Mosses, the entire Team Z, Lane’s End and of course, to the magnificent girl herself, our sweetheart Zenyatta! ?? ❤️
Marshall (NC Broad)
YAY! I finished watching the videos without further technical difficulties. They were just wonderful! Loved everyone’s speeches, too.
Thanks again for allowing us to come along on the ride of a lifetime with you and the incomparable Zenyatta! Our girl is beautiful inside and out. ? ? ?
Hugs and Love

August 20 Cherokee Devotional
Chief Luther Standing Bear said his Lakota people loved to worship. Contact with the Spirit was immediate and personal, and blessings flowed over them like rain showered from the sky. Can worship really produce such blessings? Indeed, yes. Indian people were born to believe this. To the Indian, Spirit is not aloof, not a figment of the imagination, but real life and real power. How sad that lukewarm attitudes silence those who do not want to be known as religious. It is not religion at all, but faith, Spirit, and something to rely on when life goes dry.
I was not lost.I knew where I was going all the time.

Each picture is fabulous. Thank you so much, Team Z. No horse was ever more deserving. Hugs to all.

Dear Kathy.Wonderful devotional. Many have a lukewarm attitude to Christianity in the UK these days. The modern society!!A very stormy day in Wales the Dyfi ospreys are batting against the wind and very heavy rain last night. It all should calm down by Tuesday.I hope you enjoyed your pilates and that your friend Ray is better.
I have hardly had a moment this morning these late Rio nights are playing havoc with me and Larry.Mother Theresa has shunned the muslim mayor of London Sadiq Khan by announcing the big parade will take place in Manchester.Life doesn’t revolve around London and the affluent SE.There will be an event in London. We were all so thrilled for Nick last night to win at 58 after a hip replacement is an achievement in itself! But as usual all his praise was for Big Star.Usain Bolt made history with the triple triple 9 golds. We will miss him.Her Majesty has had a winner in Moonee Valley Bold Sniper Milo has written an ode to a beam and Mr Fibbs had to turtle yesterday.Life must be sad to turtle on a Friday.Felix hopes to reach £5k in fund raiser she is still running! It will be a great tonight with Beholder and CC and Songbird running too.I am looking forward to Lady Aurelia tomorrow.Hope you have a lovely weekend.ove and hugs to you.kisses for Angel Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO.Fubu and Kimberly are both ok.The message didn’t post though.

Congratulations to Britain’s Nicola Adams who has become the first boxer to retain an Olympic title since 1924.She won on points.Sheena.

I would very much like to get Ann or Jerry Moss (or both together) on the Horse Radio Network for a short phone interview about the latest from Zenyatta’s world. I have tried several different avenues but can’t seem to reach them. Can you help?
Terry Crow
A most deserving honor for Z. I am lucky enough to have had two horses of a lifetime, the firsr having been Native Diver in the 1960s. Since an Olympic comment has been ,posted, I will repeat one of my oldest redneck jokes, having been in a different form when I first heard it. There was a redneck so thrilled to win an Olympic gold medal he went out and had it bronzed.

Dear Terry C.,
Oh my!! How we have missed you! Thanks for this great redneck joke.
I love it — wonder what he won it for. Watermelon seed-spitting maybe? Just a thought, among other possibilities which will remain unprinted. ?
