Is there a name for the kind of star she has? It is almost misty–or the moon reflecting on clouds. Or a spray of stars…Halley’s Comet. Looked again, moon and high clouds. She is so pretty.

Dear Bobby:
I too have noticed Z17’s misty, almost frosty star resembles her Dad’s. Quite a few of Medaglia d’Oro’s progeny have face markings similar to Z17 in their likeness to mist, frost or clouds.
Rachael Alexandra and Songbird too, have similar markings. Here’s photos of Md’O and some of his offspring so you can see the similarity to Z17’s star. They are all so beautiful.

Breeder’s Cup Distaff did not disappoint – Abel Tasman ran her heart out, but Forever Unbridled is so strong – and Paradise Woods is something – love them all.
My favorite, Cupid, is still out there. Oh well:)
