      Merry Christmas to my Queen and her lovely daughter. I have been following Winx in Australia. Half sister to Zenyatta and a similar running style (or, as the announcer saud, Tat’s just the theatre of her!” Zenyatta has my heart but Winx is something lovely.

      I saw in one of the comments that his tail was cut before he left and donated to Old Friends in support of the Retirees. :-)

    Ahimsa cruises to an easy victory in her first career start
    Chestnut filly becomes the tenth winner for her freshman sire
    Ahimsa took the lead a few strides out of the starting gate and never looked back as she cruised to a two-and-a-half length victory in a six-furlong maiden special weight at Los Alamitos Race Course December 15.
    The chestnut filly provided her sire, Animal Kingdom, with his tenth winner from his first crop.

    Thank you for continuing to share Zenyatta and her babies with us!!! She and 17Z, who I still think should be named Z’dorable (after her sire and Zenyatta)!!! It’s the perfect combinations of both their names. I’m so thankful I got to meet my beloved Zenyatta back in November 2013…so hard to believe that it’s been 4 years ago already…sometimes I can close my eyes and still remember everything about it. I was lucky enough to meet my other favorite mare, Life Is Sweet, when I visited and she is the sweetest and gentlest horse. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE ON TEAM Z FOR ALL THE PICTURES AND CO TINUING TO SHARE HER AND HER BABIES WITH US!!! She exudes a special Magic about her and you can’t help but feel happy and full of joy when you look at her pictures or drive yourself into a frenzy when you watch her races over and over!!! She was, is, and always will be the Queen of Racing!!! ?????????

    Horrible to see Starchitect break down in the Caspian Gold cup just now.He broke a hind leg with the race at his mercy.Guitar Pete the grey went on to win.Much sympathy to all connections.You run in greener pastures now.

    Just what we needed after the tragic death of Starchitect old boys My Tent or Yours and the New One fight out the finish of the International Hurdle 19yrs between them and Tent’s first win since 2014.Nicky Henderson in tears but NTD “annoyed” the New One was giving 6lb to the winner.Congratulations to all at Seven Barrows

    The retirement has been announced of the beautiful chestnut with the white blaze Sire de Grugy.Rising 12 he will go and live with his jockey Jamie Moore and be turned out with the children’s ponies.He still had the same enthusiasm for racing but age was not on his side.The 2013/14 season when Sprinter was sidelined was a dream came true for Sire and Jamie,He won all 5 races that season including on a sunny march day the champion chase at the festival.His owners Sean Preston and family always planned he would stay the Moores and he will have a fabulous life there.Enjoy your life now Sire you deserve to take it easy.Love and hugsX

    Dear Judy:Racing certainly is a tough but joyous sport to watch at times.I am so glad Sire is leaving the stage well except for a little wear and tear.He will keep us updated on FB about his new life.Also Cue Card will retire at the end of the season in April and go hunting.Rocco Frankie’s boy won the Shetland pony Grand National yesterday.Olympia back on tomorrow.Goodnight God bless you LM PC HT and all the sweeties.Love and hugs SheenaX

    Winx is back at Chris Waller’s.No decision has been made yet about future races.There is talk of a 4th Cox Plate which would rule out a visit to RA.We shall learn in early January if she takes over the no 1 spot in the world.Australia look set to regain the ashes England abysmal!

    Aidan O’Brien was named manager of the year at the RTE award ceremony last night.He broke the record for group one wins in a calendar year with 28 winners.Keeping it in the family the award was presented by son Joseph and as always this modest man thanks his whole team at Ballydoyle,Congratulations to all.
