Happy Wednesday,
We just love these photos that Alys took during a recent sunrise visit with Zenyatta. We’ll be on our way to Lane’s End next week for foal watch, and we’ll have lots of photos and updates to share during our stay. As always, we’re @teamzenyatta on Instagram and Twitter.
Enjoy!

Thank-you Alys for these beautiful photos of Zenyatta as she waits and knows that her time will be soon. You have captured her spirit and essence in the early morning light, simply beautiful. Z travels through all the chapters in her life with such grace and dignity.
God bless you and keep you safe Zenny, praying for a good birth and a healthy foal. Vertigineux and Z Princess are close by to watch over you and Street Cry will be a proud grandfather again. Your Anne and family are on their way soon. xo D

Oh My Goodness!!! What wonderful shots Alys captured in the early morning sun. Queen Mama Z looks so gorgeous in any light, it is exciting to anticipate her blessed event happening very soon. Thank you so very much, Team Z for sharing the life of Zenyatta and her family with those of us who also love her.

Thank you Team Z for these fabulous photographs of the Queen. She looks magnificent! Let the pacing begin…

Study a problem for a long time before you start talking about it. Once the talk begins, the problem sets its feet and refuses to move. Talk solidifies in a less than helpful way (except when we talk too soon about something we hope will happen). Once we talk about a problem, the talk will bring it about in a concrete way. No one wants to hear how great your pain is-unless you are overcoming it.The only real thing that moves anyone is caring and respect. So care for and respect others, but also care for and respect yourself and your problem.
Even the commonest sticks and stones have spiritual essence.

Are you going to Oaklawn Saturday? From the entries, it looks as if there is some great racing that day. Hoping for good luck for Suddenbreakingnews. Like his grandsire, Afleet Alex.

Dear Kathy.A happy St Patrick’s day to you and thank you so much for the lovely card.I don’t think I will ever recover from the emotion of yesterday and Sprinter Sacre’s comeback. It was unbelievable to be there. His health problems have well documented for the last couple of years but no one dreamt.Once he came around that corner you knew he couldn’t be beaten.I was happy for Nico too he lost his mother to cancer a month ago and she had been there to see him win his Gold Cup last year but was looking down on him yesterday.Ruby has just had his 50th festival winner on Mullin’s Black Hercules and Vautour is coming up next.It was sunny but quite cold at Cheltenham and I was glad of a winter coat and boots unlike some ladies in their frillies! You can’t really describe the crowd and the atmosphere I know we get to see more on TV.I posted the scenes from the winners enclosure on my timeline.Moosie is looking for suitable music so he can strut his stuff.William Fox-in-a-hole is back in competition next month.Oh,Mr Fibbs did well on mega-Tuesday and Wimbley is busy filing.Judy and Nay have gone to Sante Fe something about meeting Miss Diane and Mr Ken it’s Diane’s birthday I think.Vautour’s back to his best loves the good ground and sunshine this is his best distance.51 for Ruby and his 6th of the week,Stunning photos of Zenyatta as she awaits the birth of her foal.Have a lovely day.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO
Kathy
Dear Sheena,
You’re so welcome, and thank YOU for the outstanding card. LOVED it! Sounds like you had the best of days yesterday. I’m so glad! I will look for all the pics you posted. Lucky Judy and Nay getting to see Diane and Ken! Yes, the ratties are doing great. Zenyatta does look wonderful. Not much longer now! Have a wonderful day. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy XOXO

How amazing that you were actually THERE Sheena to see Sprinter do his thing!!! How very exciting that must have been for you ? The video is amazing – you couldn’t hear the crowd very well, but I understand there was a tremendous roar!

Wow! What a surprise to find these wonderful pictures! Zenny bathed in golden light (which only seems appropriate, of course). Many thanks to Alys and Team Z and all the folks at Lane’s End who give her such top notch care. All of the pacing will soon be felt across the land ? Safe travels to Team Z and easy foaling for our girl. Another Easter baby doesn’t seem out of the question ❤️❤️❤️
