Oh My–the pictures get more beautiful by the day !! I have been suspecting that she wants another birthday baby too ! Bet she has it early tomorrow morning.
I suspect that the green headband is a color coding thing, but, it surely COULD be for her comfort. Barnaby has a very special halter , by a company called Lami-Cel, that I got for him through the Dover Saddlery catalog. It is a nylon halter c
ompletely lined with fleece, and both the headband and the noseband are COMPLETELY fleece !! He just loves it!! I want to get him another one,as a back-up, so when this one finally wears out, he will still have one, in case they are no longer available. Everything I buy for him is the softest possible,and most padded as possible–hence his marvelous bitless bridle, with the sheepskin padded noseband! Spoiled baby–but–he deserves every bit if it !!

You can certainly tell that Zenyatta knows her human family. I’m sure she can feel the love from Ann and Jerry. I don’t know about other TB’s but gosh how Zenny just loves Ann you can see it in her eyes, in her expressions and I know the feeling is mutual.
Thank you Ann, Jerry and Team Zenyatta for sharing these precious moments with us. The photograph’s are superb. We couldn’t ask for anything more.
Each day the first thing I do is go online to see if Zenny has delivered her foal, and check periodically during the day. It matters not to me Colt or Filly (secretly hoping for a Filly though). I just pray that Zenyatta delivers with no problems and that the little guy or girl is healthy.

So hoping Zenyatta gives herself a beautiful & healthy foal for her birthday. It’s almost midnight so she needs to start showing some some positive foaling signs. I just love the “foal watch” updates — we are getting so many beautiful pictures of Queen Z and her human family. Every picture with Ann Moss is so loving — but my favorite from this post is the picture with Jerry Moss — fourth one down from the top. Zenyatta looks to be saying, “come on Jerry, give me a big kiss, you know you want to!”
I will continue to pace and wait — safe and easy delivery for Zenyatta and another big, beautiful and healthy foal.
