What a beautiful day you had, Zenny! Love all the smiles ~ yours and Jerry’s and Ann’s and your sweet paddock mate. I believe she looks as if she might be first delivering.

This is a very good article on American Pharoah and his life at Ashford Stud. There is a section on David Ingordo which I think you will find very interesting. It’s rather a long article, but worth the read while we wait for the Queen’s new Prince or Princess. Love and Hugs, JB
This is a great article — so interesting! Thanks for posting the link. I did enjoy reading about David Ingordo’s opinion about American Pharoah. A very informative article indeed, and I love that everyone seems to appreciate American Pharoah’s sweet personality, too.
Wow, does David Ingordo ever have a gift for spotting talented horses; Zenyatta and American Pharoah. Yes, Pharoah is a Sweetheart! Wonder if David I. thinks Pharoah and Z are a good match. Imagine what a sweet foal that could be.Love and Hugs,JB
Dear Judy,
Wonderful and interesting article. We learn so much from each other here on Zenny’s site. Loved learning some of the history of AP and about his personality. It’s so comforting to know that many people are kind and thoughtful owners and breeders. David Ingordo sure seems to have his Mom’s kind heart and great mind.
I pray that all horses could have such good lives. Thanks for posting this article link.
God’s many blessings today – as always
with love, Elizabeth
PS we may have to go get a new pair of pacing shoes
I don’t know HOW you find these things, Judy, but we are certainly the grateful beneficiaries ? Great article – very informative about breeding in general and some of our favorite horses and peeps!
Dear Judy – Thanks for that great article about AP and his new life. Years back I was at Three Chimneys and was present for a cover by Dynaformer. He was the consummate professional. May he rest in peace.

If anyone ever tells you that nothing is perfect, tell him or her that it can be. Nothing can be perfect when you include the whole world and everything in it. But if one little minute can be perfect and if you can get enough minutes together, it will make such a difference.
What helps to make perfect moments? Taking time to see and hear and feel the things that touch the soul. As locusts ring their golden bells, the cuckoo croaks about rain showers, and the titmouse searches for food, open your eyes, your ears, and your heart. Listen well. Then see the startling blue bunting streak through the shadows of the oaks, and when peace begins to settle in, savor the moment. Don’t let anyone tell you that it isn’t perfect.
Brother, listen to what we say.

I’m so worried for her…did they make date due mistake???
Jei
Mares foal when they want to =) her due date is an estimate, nature can’t ever be 100% predicted.
Donna Z
Actually, the foal decides when it will be born, not the mare.

Those are 2 big mamas! Here’s hoping for a safe and fast delivery for both of them – the sooner, the better!
