Foal Watch: Day 2

Happy Thursday,

Today was our second day at Lane’s End Farm with Zenyatta. Her War Front foal will arrive any day now (our guess is next week) so we’re relaxing and eating healthy snacks just like Zenyatta!

Here are a few photos taken this morning, before rain set in. Tomorrow we’ll tell you a little more about Zenyatta’s friend and paddock mate who can be seen in some of these images.

Don’t forget that Ziconic is entered in Race 4 at Santa Anita tomorrow. #GoZiconic!

    Dear Kathy.A wonderful devotional for Good Friday.If Jesus Christ could forgive surely we can difficult though it may be.Sprinter looks amazing today gleaming in the sunshine and lapping up all the attention.Julie and Jamie were queuing to get in about 9.30am.
    The British National David Dixon has been confirmed as dead.He had lived in Brussels about 10yrs and worked in IT.Sad news.
    The all-weather is on over here never been a great fan but the World cup is on at 5pm over here tomorrow 10am with you.It’s 9yrs since I lost Katie today and I always relive that day.I was so sorry to hear about Peggy’s Jordan and pray he returns safely.
    I was late posting yesterday very cold and wet after shopping trust the sun to be out today!Poor Hovis will soon join the ranks of the rough sleepers.The ratties are in Hawaii trabelling to botes for Mr Fibbs me thinks.I began to have a strange thought today Call me Dave will resign if he loses the referendum and Bojo will be PM.Can you imagine that especially if Trump becomes President.Politics has suddenly got quite exciting.No news of Dolly yesterday and it’s very worrying about.Loved the video of Ray and Jack O,Ray has lost a lot of furriends again .Great pics of Joey.Really miss him Our Moosie had a Happy Birthday on Wednesday and lots of greetings,Poor Mango’s toys were all”leaking”!Have a good day and A Happy Easter.We can only pace and go Ziconic plus CC tomorrow.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly,Nikko and Sugar.Sheena XOXO

    I’m a very wordy person, but I cannot conjure up the appropriate way to express my enormous gratitude of Zenny’s connections. She touched so many people’s lives, mine included, in areas and at depths one would never expect. It’s typical today for a horse to sort of disappear after they retire but her connections have gone so far beyond the norm it’s wonderfully astounding. Zenny truly is one of my pick-me-ups, and the fact they are willing to share her with us is so amazing and I’m so appreciative. Thank you from the sincerest standpoint possible. And Zenny, you have yourself a healthy, happy foal! All of us are either praying, or thinking positive thoughts for you – all while burning holes in our floors from our constant pacing! :)

    Thank you sooooo much for the lovely pictures of our Queen Z . These daily reports are much appreciated. Zen looks like she’s ready to get this over with. Love that the Mosse’s are there for the Queen. She is truly loved and cared for. Maybe we will have another Easter surprise!

    “It is such an honor that you continue to share Zenyatta with all of her fans. She totally renewed my interest in horse racing. I have owned some horses so can really admire the athleticism of this magnificent mare. She is so blessed to have people that care that much for her and are willing to continue to share her with us her fans!!!

    Hopefully the excitement of Ziconic’s race today is not too much for Mama Z and that she is calm and contented with some tasty pear treats. Humans here are about ready to go out to place bets on Ziconic so fingers and toes are crossed hoping for a win today and a filly soon.

        Dear Marshall:

        Glad you enjoyed the article. Risen Star finished 3rd in the 1988 Derby, after being boxed in early and he won both the Preakness and the Belmont. He had a very good racing career until he was injured. Eleven starts; 8 wins, 2 seconds and 1 third. $2M plus in earnings. He did have a long, happy life and was well loved. Love and Hugs, JB

    Zenny you look quiet and well, you quietly stay and eat green grass, in one photo you quietly think about something, light rain, green grass grow, from forecast may be will be some more warm weather, heavy rain, wind, thunder, Zenny it is well that you are with mate, in herd horses feel themselves quietly, Zenny do all quietly and not quickly, sleep in deep soft straw, walk on air with mate, eat apples and pears, care of your health, Zi keep long wide free space in front of your nose, look convenient way at right side of herd, all way feel your health and legs, i will wait your video, Coz breeze workouts carefully, not often, choose sloppy course
