Happy Sunday!

Team Z arrived at Lane’s End yesterday to await the arrival of Zenyatta’s third foal. At the farm, horses and people alike are enjoying perfect spring weather, green grass and sunshine. These photos offer a glimpse of how we spent our weekend.

    Dear Max.Thanks for that info.Nature tells us when our breeding days are over human and animal.Nissy’s enjoyed his birthday seems the sun came out for him and his feline family,I put a birthday message on his blog and got lots of purrs!Sorry to hear you might get snow again,its been lovely here this week ,if you look at the dyfi osprey FB I posted there’s a video ,you can see what a glorious day it was today.The Dyfi is about 70 miles from my home.Free the Moose Sheena.

      Sheena. It looked like a blizzard in December today. Really cold too. Hopefully it will not accumulate. Too cloudy to see that Pink Moon. I was looking for it at 4 am. No luck. Glad for Nissy that he got good weather. Did his peeps do anything special for his 11th?

        • JudyB. I have to go back to my LL Bean winter coat for a few days. It’s cold in the morning when I head to work. When I wore my hooded parka when it was super cold, a guy in my office said that I was dressed like I had a team of huskies waiting outside. Felt like it too.

    Dear Max.Nissy got a lot of birthday greetings but his peeps are still having problems with the water in the basement the swimmin’ pool that’s not a swimmin’pool.They had to go to a motel to get a showered on sunday.Nissy has no problem with washing!!All in all he had a good day.Your winter is never ending hope it will clear soon.Have seen a lot of pics of the Pink Moon ,looks beautiful.Free the Moose Sheena.

      Sheena. I heard that Morpheus had a small cut on his hock. That’s the reason that he did not race at Keeneland last week. Also heard that Juddmonte moved him to the US because they think that he might prefer the firmer turf of the tracks here. He is a very handsome horse like his father.

    Hi All!!
    Remember the night our CoZ was born…Mr. & Mrs. Moss had gone to dinner, and they were called back. Do you think that might happen tonight?!?!? There is magic in the air…snowflakes in the air here in Boone…might be an auspicious night for a royal birth!!! High hooves and 3 whinnies at the thought…meanwhile, I am pacing, pacing in Boone!!!!       Oh how I remember that night! I stood outside looking for the Full Moon, I wasn’t too successful but I did see the planet Venus. So, I spoke to Venus (my sign) and ask her, and my beloved John Henry, to watch over Zenyatta. I had a feeling Zen was foaling… a while later the news hit the wire!

    Well, I am so emotional tonight. This is the third foaling for Zenny I wanted to be a part of along with those who adore her and her owners. Is she in labor now and ok or what? Would be thrilling to see a video of Z giving birth! Wow. Her Clement Hirsch 2009 is on TVG as I speak. Perfect. Still the Star!

    Dear Zenny, Just checking in. Z i’m just really thinking Pink lately I found the prettiest Pink purse that I got for easter. Just found it and loved it. The prettiest shoulder bag.

    Zenny, I got a good feeling about This Pink Thing. I think a Filly. I love purses like I think they said your Dottie loves shoes.

    I had picked 2:42 the morning of 4/15, but baby is stubborn and not ready to come. Just checking in to see how things are going, and hoping for an easy delivery for our beloved Queen Z.
