Happy Thursday!

Zenyatta and her Tapit colt have new paddock mates at Lane’s End. Alys snapped the first photo of the group, and we’ll post some more once the little ones get to know each other.

We have an video interview to share today. Dr. Holder, who was present at the April 1st foaling, met up with us at Lane’s End the following day to talk about Zenyatta. You’ll also see a sneak peak of our footage from the night of the foaling—there’s more of that to come along with our next round of video interviews!

    What a treat to see Queen Z and new son with friends. Hope Coz is well also. I so appreciate LE and of course Jerry (happy birthday yesterday) and Ann for being the gracious wonderful owners who share their treasures with us. Just can’t wait for the next pics and videos.       Hi, Sue. I’m glad you saw my message. I am leaving VERY early Saturday morning for a two week vacation in the Bahamas and Florida. My best friend Ramona and I are making the trip. She was in the Barn 55 tribute with me. We have know each other forever, she is more like a sister. Anyway, I will look forward to catching up with you when I return. Love back to you and Barnaby!!

    What a great surprise to find new pictures form Alys and a video from Dr. Holder. So, we shall add him to the growing list of those entirely smitten with the Queen? Little Red is something else. He an Coz may set the racing world in fire in the next few years.

    It’s wonderful that she still has such presence even away from the limelight. Dr. H is so lucky to be able to interact with her so closely. Team Z really did it right….I wish more teams could be as right as Team Z. Obviously her legions of fans still love her. I remember certain “experts” saying she would be forgotten within months of retirement…..HAH what did they know????

    Thank you so much for the video and the new pictures, Lanes End! This made my day. I can’t say I’m surprised that Dr. Holder said Z is perfect. We’ve all known that for a long time! Z13 is turning into such a handsome little fellow. He’s just too cute. And of course the Queen is as magnificent as ever.

    Nice video from Dr Holder, I was loving it all the way through and his last sentence made me cry. She is a class act but a lot of that poise comes from the access to so much in her life. The more you expose any animal to loving stimulation they more they accept things in their lives that would bother less “exposed” animals. Thank you again to Mr and Mrs Moss for giving us Zenyatta.

    Hook ‘me and Gig ‘me Dr. Holder!!! He’s from not too far from where I’m from! Loved the video and what he had to say about our Queen!!!     What a great interview with Dr. Holder. The lovely Z him captivated and now another lifelong fan.
    That makes sense that all the media and attention she has gotten over her racing career would certainly help. But, she is just electric and enjoy seeing when Ann and Jerry love on her and the boys. The love is reciprocated as well.
    Just made my day!

    Thanks for the video, we really enjoyed it. Zenyatta is a real Jewel, a Jem like no other. Her personality is so amazing and she carries it with her where ever she goes. She has a huge heart and it is full of love and she shows it off frequently. Zenyatta is a one and only and as wishfull as you can be, there will never be another Zenyatta. She loves much and we also love her much. Sending much love tonite to you sweet Zenny and a kiss for Z13, you must be so proud of him. XOXOXOXO.

    Hi Zenny and of course Z13 so glad things have worked out for you so well I knew being a mother would suit you, but it doesn’t make me miss you any the less, racing is just not the same since you left . But seeing you so happy and at peace with your new life makes me happy.. SO who are you being breed to this year ??

    What a wonderful Thursday treat! Sounds like Dr. Holder has succumbed to Zenny’s magic along with all the rest of us… how could he not? I’m happy to know she and her little one are in such good hands.

    Wonder who her paddock pal is? Z13’s little playmate is adorable and I’m sure it won’t be long before we’re seeing pictures of the two of them grabbing each other’s halters and roughhousing all over the place.

    Thank you Ann and Jerry, Team Z, Lane’s End, Alys and everyone else who does such an amazing job of keeping us part of Zenny’s life. It’s such a treat to come to this site every day and visit for a few minutes.

    What a pleasure to see Dr. Holder! Years ago – back in the mid to late 1990s – I had the pleasure of working at Offutt-Cole Farm just down the road from Lane’s End. Not only did I get to rub shoulders with some remarkable mares – Glowing Tribute, Larida, Tinnitus, Honor An Offer, Gilded Lilly and so many more, I got to see Dr. Holder in action. He really pioneered equine fetal sexing. It was just fascinating and I loved working with him. Zenyatta could not be in better hands! Good to see you again, Dr. Holder!

    Dear Zenyatta,

    I was so happy to open the website tonight and see such a special video from your doctor. I know Jerry, Ann and Lane’s End are all there to make sure you get the best of care and your doctor is great. His kind words about you were wonderful. Obviously it did not take him long to discover how remarkable you are, something we have know for a very long time. You are so beautiful, you take my breath away every time I see you and of course your new little one is just so handsome and such a darling. Words cannot express my appreciation to Jerry and Ann for sharing all of the amazing pictures, videos and updates. It means so much!! Sweet dreams to you, Lil Red and Cozmic One.

    If you can get to Ocala, you should go see Leroi. I just love him and he is something to behold. He is really giving us some beautiful horses.
    He’s got a one year old filly with her dam Big Gem that is just out of this world.
    Sure wanted to bring her and Leroi home with me.
    Just love those Chestnuts. I wish Zenyatta and Lisa Nichole could be bred to Leroidisanimaux. But, Oh my there in Kentucky and he’sin florida. A little problem.
    Florida is trying to attract some nice stallions for the mare’s in Florida. They sure have hit the gold with Leroi in my opinion.

    Go Animal Kingdom, Can’t wait for June………………………………………….

    Friends, today our Diana Stuart is visiting Judy Glore, the president of the Heart of Tucson horse rescue and the rescuer of the Dynaformer son Dyna King, who had been abandoned in the desert. As you know, Judy has been bravely battling cancer.
