Safe trip dear Coz. I know you have learned a lot since your first start and that John has you ready. Remember AF lost his first start!
Do we know who is riding? I know many of you all will disagree with me, but I hope it is not Victor. Wonder what Mike is doing on Wednesday?
Proud of my boy, Texas Red. Not bad for the first race in 5 months. Did not look as if he was all out. Don’t think he would have caught the winner who is a very good horse but he did spot him 6 pounds.
What happened to The Big Beast? Saw he was scratched.
Max
Beast developed some issue related to his left front hoof. Don’t know the details but I always get worried when a hoof is involved. Hoping that this is a minor setback.
Marshall (NC Broad)
Hope Beast will be okay, too. Power up, Beast!!
Will be hoping and praying for your soundness and good health.
Hugs

Good Luck to you Coz.

July 5 Cherokee Devotional
A world of things exist that we will never be able to explain. But all we have to do is look around us at world events, natural disasters, and at the cold, clear glint in the eye of ignorance, and know that to be somebody we need more than to become clever.
The big deals do not make us. Little steps, little thoughts, words and little acts-who we are and who we will become depends on the small bricks in our foundations. What do we have of contentment? It is the measuring stick for wandering souls who have lost the way and don’t even know it.
I was living peacefully with my family, having plenty to eat, sleeping well, taking care of my people, and perfectly contented.

Oh Coz, how exciting this will be…..can’t wait till Wed. but I’ll be a nervous wreck the whole time. Run safe, and run a good race that’s what’s important while you are still learning. I hope mama Zen has a TV set to watch you and send encouragement!! All your Aunties and uncles will be rooting for you.

Dear Kathy.Hope the pups didn’t get too distressed last night and you were able to enjoy some of the celebrations. It was such a beautiful day the “bobs” got ringed and the choice of music was excellent. It’s been showery this morning but seems to be clearing up now.Only 5 Godparents for Charlotte(George had 7)no members of the royal family but Princess Diana’s niece Laura Fellowes is one of them Diana’s eldest sister Jane is her mum.Poor wittle Katy spent the night at the dogster she had very bad seizures last night some of the worst Judy had seen. She’s so tiny and a puppy mill survivor I pray God she gets better.Mango is so upset she adores her sissys I was disappointed she didn’t make the finals of the Hero dog maybe next year. All our other furbabies seem well but Zoe is not liking her kennel although she is improving.Have a blessed Sabbath.Love and hugs to you,Kisses for Holly Nikko and Sugar.SheenaXOXO.
Kathy
Dear Sheena,
The pups had a very bad night. Poor babies, they trembled the whole time. The firecrackers didn’t stop until about 1 AM. They’re dong okay now, thankfully. I hope we get to see some pictures from the christening. This christening is sure a lot different from George’s! I read that little Katy’s seizures stopped at midnight. Poor little thing. She’s so tiny. So glad Zoe is better. Naturally she doesn’t understand why she has to stay in the crate. Wimbley thought we would be celebrating today, too. He’s sad the party’s over! Have a blessed Sabbath. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy XOXO

Dear Max.Hope you enjoyed your celebrations and had plenty of carrots for the horse guest!!Golden Horn has come out of his race great and all being well will go for the King George and Queen Elizabeth at Ascot. It doesn’t look as if the Arc is on his agenda or the Breeders Cup.Ground too heavy at Longchamp.Sheena.
Max
The horse won the tea tossing contest and then ate all of the dessert, which consisted mostly of blueberries and strawberries. We thought that the kids did it until someone noticed cream lurking on the horse’s whiskers. He kindly however left some useful gifts for the gardener.
Thought that any heavy ground might not suit Golden Horn. Have to see how weather cooperates this fall as it could produce the right conditions. Postulation did not do so well for Weld yesterday at Belmont. Again might be the course.
Hoping for very good results for Coz next week. Bernie’s young ones seem to like running in NY. Stay Thirsty did very well.

Run your race Big Boy! You are so handsome and will look magnificent in the winners circle!! Love to Zenyatta and her family, equine and human!
