Happy Monday!
Zenyatta, 13Z and Cozmic One were visited by Jerry and Dottie this weekend. It was a particularly special visit because they were there to see Coz off as he departed Lane’s End for Mayberry Farm in Florida. At Mayberry he’ll follow in his mom’s footsteps and focus on his new routine—learning to be a racehorse. Alys captured video of his departure for the fans.
The team spent time with Zenyatta, who is looking great and in foal to War Front. They also said hi to 13Z, who’s having a blast this fall with his buddies.
We’d like to thank Lane’s End for all of the time, enery, and love that they have put into Coz. For that, we are very grateful.
Enjoy!

That is one more valuable cargo…Hard to believe he’ll soon be a 2 year old…what a gorgeous colt. I hope and pray he’ll always be safe and sound.
Daniel
Mr. and Mrs. Moss, would you please buy Ebby (Eblouissante) so John Shirreffs can train her to be just like her big sister, Zenyatta. Please! :)

Thank you for continuing to share!

Thank you so much for keeping us in the loop, Lanes End. This video makes me both happy and sad. I’m happy Coz is moving onto the next stage of his life, but it’s so sad watching him get on that big truck and being driven away. I feel better having read the article about the Mayberrys in Florida. I know he’ll be in good hands.

I think Sandy from Ohio said it best =D! Thanks as always for keeping us in the loop of all things Z, love, love the pics and video. They all look wonderful and can’t wait to hear updates on all. Safe travels Coz and good luck at school. Can’t wait to see you run!!
love and hugs to all,

He is a beauty. Hope he has a really good trainer.

Wow, it is like sending your child off to college. Coz looks in absolutele tip top condition. I really do believe both the men assisting him looked sad. I’m sure they have been a big part of his life. A new chapter for Coz. Tough to say goodbye though
Thank you so much Lane’s End for sharing this “graduation” ceremony of sorts and please let us know he arrived safely to his new home. I know they will love him and take care of him.
Abigail you spoke so eloquently of how all will be watching him as a Zenyatta offspring. He will certainly be in the spotlight as she was. We as fans are as devoted to her babies as we are Zenyatta. It will be an amazing journey for all of us.
I’m hoping we can continue to follow Ebby too although I know she will be up for sale. I pray for her happiness and safety.
Dear Z you and your humans look well. Gorgeous Autumn day in Ky.

Coz has grown into a very handsome yearling- I know the feeling when they leave in the big truck- I was a yearling – broodmare -stallion groom- when we sold our yearlings we were all sad to see them leave-but it’s is a part in becoming as race horse – I wish him a safe trip a a healthy racing career
Linda Sheriff
I don’t know one darn thing about conformation except what is pleasing to my eye. I think he is lovely and being the son of Z I will love him regardless of what he may or may not accomplish on the track. Oh I would be a terrible owner. I’d turn them all into house pets.

I’m sure there’s a reason, but just wondering why he wasn’t wrapped for the ride? More importantly, he’s absolutely gorgeous!
Anne-Marie Holm
Could be he’s not wrapped because he’s not going on the horsebox yet – in the Photos we see here he might just be shown or going out to his paddock.
Good luck to you Coz – may the stars shine bright for you.

Dear Coz:
Your day has finally arrived!! You will never know just how special you are. You are Zenny’s first born. And that makes you VERY special!! We LOVE your Mom, and we LOVE you too.
Many of us were up all hours of the night just waiting to hear the news that you arrived. How excited we all were!! We all watched you grow up! And look at you now. You look magnificent just standing there.
Now you are off to your next journey of life to become a racehorse. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you every step of the way. You can count on that!! My wish for you is: I really hope you love what you are set out to do. If you love racing, you will be good at it. Remember what you Mom taught you–always stretch before you run. Your Mom always warmed up before every race.
All of us that can be there to see your first race will be there to cheer you on. You can count on that too. And for those that cannot be there– will be cheering you on from our home TVs.
We can’t wait to finally meet you on the track!!!
Good luck to you Coz. Be safe. And be all that you can be!
Sending you all my love,
Love,
Linda

Thank you for sharing this special day with us. Coz looks beautiful and perfectly groomed. He looks like he’s ready to go to school and study hard! Hugs to our boy! And mama looks so relaxed. What a great job she has done. I would sooooo love to be able to meet her one day.
Julie from Kokomo
It’s just the end of the beginning. I like that Mayberry trained Zenyatta. The continuity might bring insights that will help them bring out the very best in him. Wishing this colt a future of safety, contentment and success.

Cos is absolutely handsome! Good luck Cos and may God watch over your every step throughout your new journey. It’s sad that he probably won’t ever see his mama again. :-( Great job with him Lane’s End folks!

Hi Zenny
hope you and LIS are relaxing and enjoying the break…remember those spa appts!
I saw Coz got off to “college” or is it “boarding school”…I pray that you will be able
to keep us all up to date with his progress…
Red is probably out roughhousing with his friends…more power to him…
….
my hubby is back in the hospital…again…4th time in 4 months….another new problem…
thank goodness it is something that can be treated…now if he can just relax and go with the flow…all will be well….in the mean time…he is NOT a happy camper…
…
kisses for your soft nose and all the other soft noses and even those that are not so soft…the would make them “hardnoses”
love you

Carol, God’s blessing and healing to your hubby. It is so hard on both of you for him to go through these illnesses. Know that your Zenny sisters and brothers are thinking of and praying for both of you.

Sorry to hear your hubby is having so many medical issues and has gone back to the hospital. That is no fun for anyone. My thoughts and good wishes are with you and your family and I hope he will feel better soon.

carol-Here’s hoping that your husband is out of the hospital in no time. It is never fun to be there.
Sandy (Northeast Ohio)
Carol – so sorry to hear about your hubby and am joining the others in sending good thoughts and prayers that this is just a small bump in the road and will be smoothed out soon. Take care of yourself too – we need you here.
Maryp NY
Dear Carol,
Praying for the very best outcome for your hubby and you. It’s so hard to deal with health problems that land one in the hospital time after time but keep the faith and take care of yourself.
God bless.

This colt looks absolutely amazing. Not a lanky boy anymore but a yearling who looks ready for serious training at the awesome Mayberry Farm. Coz, we are eager to follow your new adventures and know you’ll be the greatest you can be. Zenny, you are one fabulous mom…Coz and 13Z will do you proud. Thanks to the Mosses and LE for everything they do for us fans.
Katharine Hay
Wow – these pics show a giant leap from juvie to young adult. Though I frankly found him an unextraordinary-looking colt, Coz is gorgeous now, . Now he’s looking like momma’s boy, and that’s the biggest compliment I can imagine.
suew/Va
How amazing is it that we continue to get such great footage and pics on our Queen and her boyz! Coz is stunning and 13Z too cute for words. Of course Zenny always looks splendid…what a gorgeous family they are! LE probably had mixed emotions watching Coz go…he was the first son of the Queen and is the start of a new legacy.
Nancy Z.
Thank you so much for letting us in on Coz’s life. He is absolutely gorgeous! Please keep us posted on his training in Florida too, of course give him a pat and kiss for me.

My heart is beating so fast, watching Coz loaded in that trailer and leaving Lane’s End, his mom and his brother. Hope he makes the transition to Fla. easily. I can’t imagine what he must have been thinking, as the trailer started up with him in it. Good luck, young man. Make your mom proud of you!!!
