Happy Thursday!
We went to see Cozmic One on his last day at Belmont for the year. We were impressed by how much he’s grown up in the past couple months! On Tuesday he flew to California with the rest of John’s barn, and we hear he’s settling in nicely.
Scroll down for photos from Monday’s visit.
Enjoy!

Doesn’t Anne look beautiful in that first photo with Coz. I’ll never forget the photo of Anne in the straw with Coz right after his birth. They are connected!
Kathy

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Moss, Kyle, & Team Zenyatta,
Our first-borne is magnificent!!! Mrs. Moss looks so delighted with him! I have loved those ears since we first saw them still damp…one day I hope to whisper in them “CoZ, you claimed my heart the day you were born, you handsome and talented rascal!” Queen Zenyatta, you and Bernie have given us quite a son. I certain you gave him detailed lessons on racing and winning. Three whinnies & high hooves to your future, dear CoZ!!! Enjoy California!!
With much love,
Mary in Boone

Oh, thank you for these wonderful pictures of my beautiful boy!!! He is absolutely stunning, getting so muscled and fit……he’s starting to look like a “race horse”, LOL. I think having him in California will be great for our dear Anne, she can visit and dote on him and maybe it will help her deal with the loss of her angel Princess Z. So many have such high hopes for this, her firstborn, I pray he stays safe and healthy. Sending kisses to Mama Zen, Zi, CoZ, and my Indy, and one Heavenward to our angel.
Sarah
Good morning, Team Z, Thank you for the photos of Coz. Delighted to see our sweet boy looking well and with his other “Mom” Anne. Please watch over him well. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a very happy new year.

Dear Sheena,
Yes, very happy Coz is back in CA. He is such a handsome horse. Looks very much like his mom, also his dad. Ann is definitely crazy about him. Rightfully so! It’s raining here right now. We go so long bone dry then get the rain all at once. NOT GOOD! Loved Zoe’s post about Mr. Pat and Miss Ruth. Teary eyes! Fingers crossed that Mango’s internet straightens out. Congratulations to Vicki! That’s wonderful that Fubu’s fund has grown. Lily’s mom’s home looks very nice. She and Molly will be very happy there. I’m sure. It’s comforting to see all the pics of Joey…Marty, too. May they both rest in peace. Missing them! Have a great Friday and enjoy the weekend ahead. Love and hugs from me, kisses from Holly, Nikko and Sugar. Kathy.

What wonderful new photos and such fabulous news!!! Coz looks so beautiful and reminds me so much of his exquisite mom! I am excited he is heading to California for a change of scenery and I wish him easy shipping and a quick recovery. I’ll bet he will enjoy the climate of CA much more than the wintery winds of NY this time of year. Thank you so much for sharing all of this exciting event with those of us who love Zenyatta’s family from afar. Kyle, you are such a great photographer as well as keeping the website running so well! Wow!
Thank you, Team Z, to all of you I am so grateful to have these exposures to the life of our Queen. Always makes my day.

Wow. Here we are full circle….with an offspring of Zeny’s in California. What a journey. Ann must be beside herself to have Coz in California. The excitement of knowing his first race could be approaching in early 2015…pinch me! The fan base that is going to turn out is going to be huge. We will need to wear “good luck and best wishes” pink / turquoise ribbons on our lapels. Haha.

Congratulations Pam and hubby! That is a magnificent accomplishment (especially in this day and age when nothing seems to last very long). Best wishes to both!

Thank you Sandy! In our local paper when we had our 40th celebration there were lots of 50th anniversaries. Now that we got to 50 there are lots of 60 celebrations. Go figure! But we are still rather proud of it! On the subject of our sweet Coz…..living in Kansas, I have spent goodly portion of day looking up and waving. Just in case he is flying over us….nobody has come to pick me up yet!lol
maureen ph[llips
Congratulations,!. Praise be to our Almighty God. Wishing you two many more happy years together. It is well.

He looks much happier now, much more calm than before, and maturing nicely. I wonder if he will get his first race in California before the month is out. Hope so!
Sandy (Northeast Ohio)
WOW! There is nothing original left to say. Coz – you are magnificent, and I am SO glad to know that your first race will not be during winter weather here in the east. You deserve a gorgeous venue, and that’s what you will get in California.
As so many have noted, Ann looks so happy with her boy and must be thrilled to have him close at hand. Thanks to Kyle and the rest of Team Z for sharing the news and these wonderful pictures!! We’ll be “all ears” waiting for the next step. ♥♥♥

I was busy being domestic yesterday, mostly carpet cleaning, so what a great surprise to see a new blog this morning. Super pictures, Kyle. Thank you. I’m also so happy to see Mrs. Moss smiling and how proud she looks of this stunning son of Zenyatta. I love how she always goes walking about with her horses. Can’t help but wonder if there are a couple other more southern, eastern U.S. stops before returning to California. The anticipation for what lies ahead for Zenyatta and her offspring is truly exciting. Thank you always Mr. and Mrs. Moss andTeam Z for keeping us involeved in the lives of Zenyatta and her young.
Teresa
WELCOME TO CALIFORNIA!!! Coz is here, we got some rain today, life is good today. Thank you very much TeamZ for all you let us view. You make us feel like Zenyatta’s family. Run like the wind our Big Coz, and let our beloved Z Princess watch over you and keep you safe. Thanks again Team Z, you made my day!

Mary Margaret in Georgia
Coz is absolutely beautiful, like his Mom. Very handsome fellow. Tears of joy flowing to see Zenyatta’s foals growup. Exciting times ahead. Best of Luck.
Marty R / Colorado
I just want to say that I also appreciate the commenters pointing out different features of Coz that remind them of Zenyatta or Bernardini. Beyond his ears, I didn’t know what specifically was showing up and the comments have helped a lot. His tail is much longer than his mama’s.
It seems to me, Coz sometimes carrys his head lower than I think of Zenyatta doing. Could that be an A P Indy characteristic? I just remember reading or hearing that A P Indy stretched his neck and head out low when he was racing. Might help with wind resistance.
I wonder who Coz’s exercise rider will be in California. I doubt if Steve will come out of riding retirement. So many exciting possibilities ahead. It’s good to have these things to look forward to.
Barbara Brayton
Such a good looking young man.

Can I be more in love with our first born boy?, he is so tall and strong and beautiful, all the adjectives that has been used by many and some. Where did that gangly kid go?, bring on Taco!, so proud of our boy, am sure you all are tired of hearing me say it and I apologise. Before I go, I just want to say that he has such an elegant beautiful head and neck!, the way he holds his neck reminds me of some Royal, Princess Diana.! Am just a proud mama, sorry. Wishing all in Z Nation an awesomely Blessed weekend, those in the Bay area and Northern California, Praying for better weather and less damage. To the Queen and the Prince’s, much love from the very proud mama. It is well always in Z nation land and I love you all. God’s Blessings always.
