Happy Thursday!
We went to see Cozmic One on his last day at Belmont for the year. We were impressed by how much he’s grown up in the past couple months! On Tuesday he flew to California with the rest of John’s barn, and we hear he’s settling in nicely.
Scroll down for photos from Monday’s visit.
Enjoy!

Dear Ann, Jerry, and all Team Z
Thank you for sharing these wonderful moments and fabulous photos to brighten us all up on what for many is a threatening and dreary day.
Coz is a stunner, that is for sure! Those ears! Who’s your mamma? Oh yeah! No denying! And that long elegant neck and refined face! I sure see Bernie there. But those big feet! Big sturdy feet – could there be a turf horse hiding within?
So excited you’re gonna be a California boy for awhile, Coz. That California sun works wonders. Hope to see you real soon!

he really reminds me of his Mom. I can’t wait to see him run. Glad he is back in the warmer weather. It is freezing here on the east coast.

What a difference a few months has made! When I saw him walking under the trees by his barn at Saratoga he was a tall, curious, gangly kid. Looks like he’s learning his lessons well…and, just maybe he’s becoming a force to be reckoned with. This is gonna be fun. Safe trips, Coz.
Janice Ponce
thanks for sharing pictures of Coz! He’s beautiful. Sooo tall! How tall is he? Tall as his mama? Cheers Cozy Cozzy!

I see a very nice blend of Bernardini and Zenyatta in you Cozmic One! Can’t wait to see you run in a race!
Joyce Daugherty
Coz is a gorgeous horse. I also see a lot of Zenyatta in him, and also Bernardini. While I do see the soft eye, there is something about him that shouts he’s all stallion, and on his way to being a force to be reckoned with. I have a feeling he can be a handful, and then some. He reminds me so much of his Daddy. And of course his Mom. Her sweetness is bound to shine through no mattter what. Here’s wishing him racing luck, and a safe trip every time he runs. Love him!
maureen ph[llips
Totally agree with all you have said. I am so happy. How I love my boy so, its well with the world again!!
Cathi Sadocha
WOW! COZ you sure have grown! What a BIG beautiful, strong colt. I too think you look like your Momma, Zenyatta.
Yes I would know those ears anywhere. From day one you had Momma’s ears.
I am so grateful to Ann, Jerry and the entire Zenny Team for always sharing with us.
I can hardly stand the wait anymore to see you out of the gate. Win or Lose, matters not to me, you will always have a special place in my heart.

So appreciative of this update. Coz is really getting to be quite the handsome guy. Can’t wait to see him in action. Please continue to give us updates on Zenyatta’s first born. Love, love, love
maureen ph[llips
No, my sweet baby boy is not ‘getting to be quite a handsome guy’, he is a handsome boy with a capital H. He is the handsomest of them all. If he was human, I would be swooning at his feet. Oh, how I love him soo, it is well again with the world, nothing can go wrong!
Lynda from Canada
Coz is spectular! Every day I look for news of Coz: how training is progressing, will he race or will racing be later for him. So hearing he was going to California, seeing all the photos……fabulous!
Made my day,
Thank you Team Z for keeping us updated. Happy Holidays to all & Best Wishes for 2015.

My Queen, you make gorgeous babies. Hope to see this particular gorgeous baby do well at SA and Los Al. He’s a big fella and may need more time, like his mama.
Love you always, Z, and love your babies too.

What an unexpected surprise to see these lovely, composed photos appear in our FB feed! I love knowing that your family “gets” how much we fans care, & thrill to be included like this into the circle of your farm. To know that we never have to worry that your horses will be sold to another country, or forgotten in a back pasture when their usefulness is over, or to be sent to a kill buyer is such a reassurance.
Maybe, if you could, a few words on Coz’ personality? I’m sure we fans are very curious as to what he’s like to deal with. Mrs. Moss, Ann, it warms our hearts, too, to see you smiling again after your very recent loss, & for your “hands on” approach with your horses.
Hoping to hear from you about Coz, & that you continue to heal. We all care & think of you more than you know. Appreciatively, Karen Kolar

A million thanks for this wonderful post of my sweet Coz, but best of all, it was so good and heart warming seeing Ann smiling after the loss of our lovely princess. Bless her and the rest of our our Queen’s family. It is well. How is Zi doing at school?, am sure his having a blast while taking his studies very seriously, he is always so serious and a deep thinker, not wanting to disappoint mom. Much love to all my Z Nation family, let me use this opportunity to wish all a Merry Xmas and an awesomely Blessed New Year. It is always well at Z nation.

Thank you very, very much for the updates. He appears to be maturing beautifully. How is Ziconic?

Wow! Coz looks so big and strong — and he’s probably still growing. Love those ears!
The pictures are awesome and it is so wonderful to see Ann Moss smiling, happy and enjoying her time with Zenyatta’s first born. Hope Coz enjoys California — I’m sure all the “Z Fans” will be thrilled to be able to see him out there. So — will his first race be where Mama Z gave us so many wonderful an amazing racing memories??
Nancy
So glad to see Coz has settled in with John and seems to be doing great! Can’t wait to hear of his first race. He looks so much like Zenyatta. I’ll bet John is having deja vu! Good luck, big boy…make your momma proud!

Dear Sheena,
Thanks so much! How THRILLING for Hovis and all of us! I hope we get to see the finished product. Can’t wait. TGIF everyone. Happy weekend!

I can’t get this link to work, and even going straight to H&H and trying to click on from there just punts me back to the “Equestrian Blogs” home page. Can anyone help?
Sandy (Northeast Ohio)
Must have been some technical glitch with H&H – the link finally “came to life.” What an experience Hovis had being a “film star!” I just hope that we will get to see the finished product somehow.

We are different-you and I. We have differences in background, education-creeds perhaps. But more basic than that, the shape of a hand or an eye, the working of the mind. Knowing how we differ, why do we question the variances of opinion, attitude, faiths and how we look at life in general. What could be more tiring than seeing ourselves in whatever direction we turned? If we had nothing to challenge our views, would we ever think more deeply, rise higher? It is not our differences that make the difficulty in the world but our prejudices against difference. Yet none of us controlled his or her beginning. It is ignorance that makes us rebel against other races, other creeds. And ignorance is trouble itself.
The Great Spirit made the white man and the Indian. He did not make them alike.
