@ Judy berube- Did your horse just break out where the pad was, or, all over? I can’t really properly explain how awful poor Barnaby looked–just didn’t see how he could have such a violent reaction and not have it be life-threatening!! I know how delicate their systems are and I was simply terrified! Guess I’m just s “nervous Nellie” about him!! Wish I could have been there for your visit with Sandy—isn’t she just great?? Just LOVE her!!! So glad she got to see Frank too–I was hoping she would.
Sally B. and Sheena–will tell Barnaby that you were concerned about him too! Every time I go down to see him, I give him all of his messages, kisses on the nose, and comments. He listens very intently, as though he understands it all. Actually, after the experiences we’ve had when he has been visited by the animal psychic, and the things we’ve learned, I think he really DOES understand it all!!
So sorry we won’t get an update from Hovis this week–we get spoiled–just LOVE him!! Hope Karen has a lovely holiday–she surely deserves it!!
Hope we get some more info on Chromie soon. I need to learn how to really use Facebook–doesn’t he have a page or something?? Wonder if we will continue to get any info on him.. I have had this lovely fantasy about winning a really big lottery and trying to buy him, then divide up the shares with lots of those here who love him. Wouldn’t that be fun??? Guess I can dream BIG!!
Sounds like Barnaby’s hive breakout was much worse than Hudson’s and cause for concern. I think the girls gave Hudson Benadryl, I’m not positive, but they were worried too. On another day recently, Hudson’s left nostril was visibly larger than her right. Came up out of the blue and we thought it must be a hive or perhaps swollen from an insect bite. That too was gone by the next day. They truly are sensitive beings.
Yes, Sandy is a Sweetheart. Wish you could have been with us too. Love and Hugs, JB
CC is moving to his new home in Kentucky tomorrow and the vets say there is no reason why he cannot race next season.Sheena.
